The new posts button up the top will show you recent posts, or you can browse the different sections and find topics that interest you.
The user control panel, also at the top is where you go if you want to add or change your sig, avatar, profile etc.

I'm also in Melbourne, just moved here in October with my DH and 2 year old daughter. There are a bunch of us mums who meet up just about every month, usually in the southeastern suburbs. I'm not sure where you are (haven't figured out where ANYTHING is here yet) but if you're interested I'm sure you're more than welcome to come along.

Bascially the forum is divided into a bunch of sections based on general topics. So there is a section for general chat about anything, and then a section all about pregnancy, one for parenting topics, a section based on geography which is useful if you want to find or talk to people in your area. And then there are some specialised sections like depression, childcare, buy & sell, etc. If you can't find a discussion on what you're interested in, or you want to ask a specific question of other members, it's good to try to post your new thread in the most appropriate section, to get the maximum number of responses.

Each section has one or more of us friendly moderators, listed near the bottom of the page. So if you have any questions please feel free to send us a private message (pm).
