:) Hi all, my name is bec and i am 21 year old mummy of a sweet little boy (Cody 24/12/04) who's one. My sister told me about this site so i thought i'd check it out. I'm looking for a playgroup to join so i can meet some of you other brissy mums. Looking forward to chatting with you all.

Yes as everyone else said where abouts are you in Brissy, that way we can all help you with playgroups in your area.
I go to one at Redbank plains (Western Suburbs).

I too am looking for a playgroup - I live in Kangaroo Point/ Woolloongabba and would really like to join a play/mum's group, somewhere in the vicinity - or willing to travel 20kms or so...So if anyone out there has an opening in their group, I would really love to play....I can bring cake.....I have money.......Do I sound too needy???.... Jeez, feels like school again, picking teams....pick me, pick me!!

Yes, sleep deprived & stupid with it. Just love teething.......managed 2 hours sleep - does anyone else have a man who has selective deafness ie "Sorry babe, I just didn't hear him", I mean, man, Perth would have heard him.

Moan,whinge, whine - sorry guys.....I guess this means I'm not on the team?????

I have a 14mth old daughter, but not sure of any playgroups, just let us know where you are from and then any one on here will be able to help you out for sure.

just click on the 'user control panel' (in the purple bar at the top of the page) - then one of the options on the column on the left side is something about adding an avatar??? click on it and then the add avatar option will come up - you have to adapt your picture first though - it cant be bigger than 800 by 800 pixels ( I think :) )

Hi I am from Brisbane as mentioned earlier their are alot of us. I am sure that playgroups are around Kangaroo Pt. Just give playgroup Australia a call and they can put you in touch with one in your area!

Just wanted to say thanks to Oscar's Mum (gorgeous photo BTW) for the tip about Playgroup Australia, will call & find one.

Also, Thank you, thank you to Lukaelmo for responding to a despondent whiny cow - bad night teething & was feeling all lonesome & useless.

So, now I'm on the team, whaddya wanna play?

How about "How to get your man to hear the baby at 2.30am" - any ideas's??

Anyone else's man have selective domestic deafness??

Or perhaps, how to disguise vegemite (please, oh please, let it be vegemite) marks on your linen blouse whilst standing inline at David Jones.

I find that a really firm elbow in the ribcage works wonders... :)

how the HELL can they sleep through it ??? I just dont get it - my DH would sleep through a smoke detector!!!
