:D It finally happened!!!!!!!:D
My toddler put himself to sleep during the day. I am one of those shocking Mum's who cuddled their bubs to sleep and pat them until one day their were too big to wrestle to sleep. Then I used the "DVD till they fell alseep" technique or the "they'll fall asleep on the way home" trick.
Alec during his one day a week at daycare would gladly eat his lunch then ly down and go to sleep. But not at home. At night he is no trouble either. So today I thought - right it's time for Mummy to win this battle and stop letting him put one over me. I grabbed Smoochie and Charlie (our nightime buddies) and we basically went though our night time routine (minus Daddy because he's at work). I went back in his room once as I could hear through his monitor that he was playing. He requested a drink which was granted on the condition he went nigh-nighs. And then................... there was silence. I checked on him just before and he is asleep. I am so happy I have finally dug myself out of that bad rountine.:D
Only trouble now - Zakky (bub number two) has just woken up!!:rolleyes:
