Hi ladies

Hope someone can help. I fly to South Africa on monday and stay there for 3 weeks... I'd like to keep temping so that I can keep an eye on what my cycle is doing.
I just dont know what to do about the jet lag and time difference... Should I just not temp until I am over it and have adjusted to their time or what?? I'm very confused. (I think its 8 hours diffence)

Thanks

With such a big time difference, it's really tricky!

Generally, you're really only going to have an issue with it the day/s you are travelling and also the follpwing day. After that you should be back on track. Keep taking your temperature as before, using the same time in the local time. It might help to make a note in your chart on your travelling days so you know why there might be a variation. You should still get a strong pattern if you have gotten them before. Hopefully your O time won't be right when you are changing time zones or it might be more difficult to detect your O day.

Have a great trip!

Thanks MrsMiggins!
I know its going to be difficult as from experience, I will waking up at weird times over there! Takes a few days for me to adjust! I'm out of the TTC race this month anyway as DH isnt joining me and I will be away during ovulation time  but I want to keep track of whats happening anyway.

Dejeane - I am surprising my mum for her 50th birthday... I was born in SA but moved to England almost 10 years ago and in January 07 moved to Australia with my Australian hubby. My parents are in Pretoria so thats where I will be heading. Where are you?

Yes I grew up in South Africa - left when I was 18. My parents live near Zambezi Drive - know where that is? I have some friends that live in Centurion.
