View Full Version : Babylove capsule in Tas - anyone want to sell one??

Ok something's happened and the one I've borrowed off a friend has been broken by the previous user - so I have no faith in it.

Does any one have - or know of anyone who has - a Babylove Primo capsule (grey velour fabric) that they'd like to sell?

If so please pm me as I'm getting a little stressed!

Hi Anna, Sorry I can't help you out with a capsule but have you thought about hiring one? I did this with Isabelle I got on from "Hire For Baby" from really lovely lady at Kingston. She has the Safe N Sound capsule. Hope this helps you out. Angela.

I was going to suggest hiring a capsule off Cathy as well.

Thanks heaps for your suggestions.
Yep I did look into that as well.
Only thing is - this particular capsule is compatible with my pram so would be ideal first.

However!
I've contacted babylove about the broken part and it's a $3 replaceable piece! So I ordered a couple (even though postage is a flat $10 :mad: ) and I should be able to fix it when it arrives - so :fingerscrossed: for me!

In the meantime I've washed and scrubbed the capsule clean in preparation for it's use! :D

Oh yes I did! After a lot of stress though!

I ordered the $3 replacement part (x2 because postage was flat rate of $10 for 1 small part so I thought I'd be nice and buy an extra for my friend for later just in case). I completely sliced my finger open trying to remove the broken bit until out of sheer frustration I screamed at DH to fix it because I'm going crazy! Well he got the pliers out and pulled the damn broken bit out in 2 seconds (:rolleyes: ) and I popped the new piece in and re-attached everything then put the capsule back together.

So now it's all working fine and the capsule clips into the base perfectly. I now have confidence that in the event of an accident (or anything) that baby will be perfectly secure in the car. :thumbsup:

What did we get or what did we sell??

We sold our 2003 Holden Zafira Equip and bought (back in Jan in Melbourne) our very first ever brand new car - a Kia Grand Carnival. SO incredibly spacious and will last us for years to come. Excellent car at an excellent price!
