Ok, another question from me..

So what happens if you are at the shops or say out anywhere and bubby does a poo in a MCN, what do you do?

Do you lug this pooey nappy around with you?

This is what my DH keeps going on about. He doesnt want me to be lugging pooey nappies around the shops stinking the place out lol.

So what happens?

Thanks

Raz.

If you don't want to lug the pooey nappy around just rinse the poo off into the toilet first then place in your bag.

I bought a pack of disposable nappy liners from Woolies.

When I take the boys out , if they poo I just throw the poo and the nappy liner away.. then (if I'm in a baby room) rinse the nappy like I would at home. OR.. just roll it up and put in my 'wet bag' to bring home and wash.

If you use disposable liners when you're out, then brining home a dirty nappy is not really any different to bringing home clothes that they've got food all over, thrown up on, or fallen over in the mud in. As long as you've got a good bag.

(I just use one of those plastic bags that have a zip on them that a lot of baby blankets and things get sold in)

I just put it in one of those nice smelling nappy sacks and take it home.

I just tip what I can in a loo, close it up, then put it into my nappy bag and away I go

A wet bag with a bit of essential oil will do the same trick too - bit less waste also;)

A wet bag is a bag made of PUL so you won't get any wet leaks into your nappy bag either.

Okie dokie, I thought all those ideas might be the case.

I will buy some nappy liners from coles.

Gosh I am getting excited about all this!

I have disposable nappy liners for that reason!

DD is at an age where it is contained in the liner - and I just flush it down the loo in the parents room.

I have a wet bag that all dirty nappies go in, so no big smells there.

Or it the wet bag is on the line when I go out, I take along those scented nappy bags..

Been using terry flats for 10yrs. I only use sposies at night, but Troy is in sposies ATM as I have a box of ****ty snugglers that I'm trying to get rid of. Once that's gone, he'll be in cloth too.

i use flushable eenees liners that are biodegradable.
i flush those and roll the nappy up and put in in the wet bag.

the wetbag contains any smells from the nappy so it down 'stink out the place'
you cant small a thing once inside the wetbag

its very easy
