Okay, i am wanting to (one day) migrate up to the central coast. Was going to go south but i love the central coast.

I love places like Terrigal, Avoca Beach, The Entrance, Long Jetty, Macmasters Beach...etc.

I've been looking at rentals and they are not too much more than what i pay here in western sydney but you get the nice lifestyle.

What suburbs do you recommend around those areas?

(they are the central coast arent they?:o )

lmao I was asking the same question only a few weeks ago... Now I'm moving in like a day lol

I was recommended pretty much those you've listed... I went and bought a map for the whole of the central coast (helped with inspections also lol) and sort of broke down my list to more populated (shops, schools, hospitals/doctors, etc).
I ended up focussing on a small-ish area from Killarney Vale to The Entrance (includes bateau bay, long jetty, blue bay, ummm mind block?).
Since I'm moving that area, I'd say go there :p

Ive lived on the coast ALL my life and I love it. Ive spent most of it in the northern part and a few years in the southern part. I much prefer the north as it seems to be a much quieter, family friendly area.
Goodluck in finding a place up this way. There is so many nice areas to choose from.
All the best

Thank you girls so much... realestate.com here i come hehe:laughing:

Mumforone: Yeah i remember you mentioning you were moving up that way... im so jealous... i want to move now lol. I will be hopefully in the next 2 years sometime. Let me know how the move goes.

Charleesmum: I LOVE terrigal too... i have been up to the central coast twice now for holidays, once was at a B&B at Avoca and the other holiday was last year at The Entrance... i just love the laid back lifestyle up there and the fact that no drive to a beach is far (or even a walk lol)...

Ashleigh: YAY! you better stay put and not come move down to sydney then if i come up there:cool: Then you can come over for your teas and i can come over for my coffees :D

MrsTwith3: Yeah it is beautiful up there... im in love with it :o What suburbs are the northern parts and southern parts?

Another coastie here :p

I grew up in Auburn in Sydney & moved up to Kariong (wouldn't recommend it - too far away from everything) & now live up North just past Wyong. Its about a 10min drive to the beach..................not that we EVER go

I think as a rule Woy Woy & surrounding areas are South, Wyong, Toukley, Blue Haven etc are North. Could be wrong though :o

I have live on the coast pretty much all my life - had a stint in the hunter with the ex - and can't really see myself moving away!
