I bought my son his first pair of shoes a few weeks ago, he has just turned one and I managed to get one open toe shoe in size 5, everything else that fit were a size 6!
Everyone comments on how big his feet are, my poor sister sends him shoes from overseas and I can't even get his foot in them. My husband's shoe size is 12, I think he'll have his dad's big hoof and wouldn't be surprised if he's the same (or more) as your son at that age.

Chloe was in a size 6 which she is just starting to look like she's outgrowing (25 months). But then she's small for her age.

My DD#2 is in a 12 at age 5, and she is above average in foot size, so a size 9 at 21 months is HUGE.
My teenage daughter is into a ladies 11. It's an ordeal to buy her shoes.

LOL Tracey... it still cracks me up!!! Cj is just fitting into size 6!! :D
WOW! Eloise is a size 6 going on 6 and a half.
Hey Tracey - Shane calls them "puppy feet"! Have you heard of that expression before?
Chelsea just turned 4 and is a size 7 and Nicola is 2.5 and is a size 5 so even though they're girls, I'd say, YUP, Samuel is above average and is going to TOWER over you one day! Isn't that what every mum wants from her boys?!:D

Hopefully your little one has normal width feet...that it a huuuuge problem I'm having at the moment with Lucas.
He's 18mths and growing out of his size 6 but I'm having trouble with the width because his last pair were the widest Clarkes makes and we actually had to buy a pair of sandals with velcro across the width so they'd fit...I choose all of these funky looking shoes only to be shown sneakers and ugly 'caliper' boots!
Jesse is 4 and is a size 12...doesn't look like I'll be shopping in the bargain bins for either of these boys!:(
Goodness,..all those feet sound huge!! Scarlett is 17months and wears a size 2!!!!!!! She has sweet little feet! Her little boyfriend is the same age and wears a size 8! He is massive! She is the same height as he is though,.....

OMG indeed Trace - size freaking 9!
Carter is only a size 4 ... just and she's the same age.
I say sign him up for basketball now. He's going to either be incredibly tall with nice big feet to keep him stable or he's going to look disproportionate like Ronald McDonald. Pray for the former:p
Trace what are you feeding that boy?

Raleigh is in a size 4 at 9 months. They're only the suede slipper thingies that are made in Tassie. She has huge hoofers ;)

Tracey, My daughter is 19 months and is currently wearing size 6 but will soon be graduating to size 7. Only last month she was comfortably wearing size 5. Must have had a growth spurt.

Lol Carlyb! I can't believe how similar Lucas is to my DS2, the exact same thing happened. He was a size 6, but off the chart as far as width was concerned - such cute chubby feet, but not easy to find nice shoes for!
Wow, Samsmum - size 9 already (my DS1 is size 8.5, but he is almost 3yrs old).

Ruby has just turned two and is just in a size 5. Shoes are a difficulty as she has high arches and we can't even get most shoes on her feet!
Thanks all for your replies !!
I am glad he is not the only one with big feet :p
Carlyb - his feet are wide too but not REALLY wide thank goodness !!
Deb - LOL Ronald McDonald !! That'd be my luck.. DH says sign him up for basketball and i am in agreeance but he also has REALLY long arms and legs so i reckon he may be our next "thorpy" as long as he doesnt go all "weird" like Ian Thorpe has now....
Anna - He is definantly going to tower over me ... both of them will no doubt !
Samuelboy - maybe its Samuels that are the problem!! :p My Samuels first shoe at 11 months old was a size 5 and he was in a 7 before i could blink !!
DH wears a 13

lol Rylen is 28 months and in a size 7, although it's time for new shoes and i think he would be a bit more comfortable in a size 8. Yds is almost one i have the hardest time finding anything to fit his feet as they're so wide:eek:
