Babylegs inspired afternoon!

After seeing the gorgeous 'babylegs' that nuddle made the other day, it inspired me to try some of my own. I had some tights that i got in the wrong size for DD, so thought i'd give it a go. here (http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i115/charlis_mum/CharliRoseHodges005small.jpg) they are. Next time i'll try & get a size ir 2 up, but i think they turned out good for a first attempt! :smiliedance:

I also added some elastic to DS's babylegs as they kept falling of his skinny ankles - so now i just need my nappies to dry. mmm I think the hot pink itti for DD and the blue berry plush for DS. I am excited just thinking about them wearing them.:D

Can you guys try to explain to me what the purpose of these are? To wear under skirts/dresses? Sorry but I have no idea..

They are to wear instead of pants in winter to still be able to show off the gorgeos nappy being worn.:o DD will wear hers under skirts, instead of tights. It will make nappy changes easier than normal tight as i won't have to take them off her.

They are also great under pants when it gets really cold so when their pants ride up from being in the pusher/trolley/your arms/etc their little legs are still warm. Ds2 had camo pants on yesterday with black with white stars babylegs poking out........too cute!!
