Im not in perth but i am organising my wedding which is in august.

Have u tried just having a garden wedding near a lake or something then having a reception somewhere close by?
As for bridesmaid dresses - well i just got mine off ebay for $140.00 each. (my dress even came from ebay)

Photographers - well designate someone in the family to take set photos then for your reception put 2-3 cameras on each table and let your guests take the photos (they will catch more things then what a photographer would)

Flowers - do you have a local flower market? dont say its for a wedding just enquire about flowers that you like and ask for them to be made up for you so you can have a look what they would look like.Take a photo and go back a few weeks before hand and say you would like "this" bunch made up for you on this day.

Decorations - there is plenty of things you can do....depends on what cost u are looking at?

if i can help with anything else let me know

Hi ! thanks for your reply!

I have allready booked my reception for a saturday, so there goes the idea of a sunday !

and the few places that are close to the reception are fully booked out allready, and ive finally found somewhere about 20 mins away that is nice!

the main prob with the bridesmaid dresses is the fact that my head bridesmaid is a larger girl and finding it hard to find a dress that suits her, so i thought that getting one made would be easier and probably cheaper!

with photography family members will be taking photos/video but i want them to be able to relax and enjoy the wedding and not have to worry about taking the perfect pictures, the cameras on the table is a definate i had planned to do that from the start

i will have to look into the flower market ! although being in summer it would prob be best to go with fake flowers so they dont wilt

Don't know if they are in the right price bracket but Deray Simcoe Photography took pictures of my children in Hyde Park which were stunning and I have seen their wedding photography too which I loved.

They have a website www.deraysimcoe.com.au. It has lots of examples of their work. Dianne is really lovely and very accomodating.

I hope you can find everything you need :)
I just wanted to mention about the bridesmaids dresses... Im a very large mum and it is damn hard to find dresses. A friend of mine had 4 bridesmaids and all different shapes, heights and colourings and she just picked a colour and then found a dress to suit each one. The larger BM bought dressy black pants (as the colours were black & pink) and got a lovely top from the mother of the bride section - she looked amazing and also was comfortable and more herself on the day as she wasnt squished into a strapless dress like the skinnier girls.

Ive been in weddings and we've bought the long A-line skirts then separate size tops. Helps if the bust sizes are very different from the bottom half sizes.

Hope it all goes well for you,
Kelly

Hi,
not too sure if you've thought about Ebay for flowers or if you are still looking into artificial flowers but I got mine from a company on there for our January wedding this year they were reasonably priced although I did get a friend to re do the ribbon as it wasn't a colour that we had in our theme they are Floral_land and im sure that they can do the ribbon to suit your theme we just didnt think about it until they arrived :banghead: we had frangipanis but im sure that they have many other flowers that may suit your interests. If you like I can take a photo of mine and send it to you if you would like to see the way they turn out in photos also they look real and better than I thought, PM me if your interested and ill send it asap (im not involved in anyway of the company just impressed with the flowers I received)

Hi Jazzak

there is a web site were i got a helpful wedding planner from when i did my wedding, it is a nsw site but has a good planner on it to down load. it was www.weddingnsw.com (http://www.weddingnsw.com)

It allows you to put in the guest list, with the addresses etc then mark of that they have RSVP and if they are comming, it also lets you set people on different sized and shapped tables.
Futher to that it has a check list for you to mark off.

Hopefully htis will help :fingerscrossed: and you have a lovely day.
