I cant stand it you guys, I'm balling my eyes out.

I slept for one hour and all up in that hour I have experienced enough nightmares for an army.

Why? I have no idea but right now I have a migrane, sore jaw and my throat hurts.

I dreamnt of passed on family members visiting me and I awoke plenty of times during the night smelling strong cigarrette smoke and seing my Aunt look over me.
My Great Grandpa was smiling at me and something was pointing all function to my Grandparents old home.
It was a scary feeling though.

Next thing I know is I'm dreaming about a tidal wave and thousands of people are dying including my baby. :(

I'm so heartbroken, I awoke with static electricity through out my hair again.

I'm so scared to sleep.

What will rid these dreams of mine?

They're awful!

:(

Oh Ashleigh I hope you got back to sleep ok nightmare-free :hugs:
Do you know why you are having nightmares? Are you taking any herbal remedies or medications? They can cause strange dreams and/or nightmares....

Thanks guys, I got a few hours sleep but it's better then what I'd normally get.

I'm not on any medication at all.

My friend thinks I need to take sleeping tablets but I fear I'll sleep to long and forget to wake up, also afraid I'll spend more time dreaming..

Wish I was pregnant again, they'd stop.

OMG Ash!! I keep getting the same thing! I have no idea why though but they are constant every night. I also had a dream about a tidal wave but I lost my sister and we searching everywhere for her. I'm not taking any medication either

I hope we both can get some decent sleep soon :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

They're horrible!

I usually dream about past wars, other worlds, etc.

:hugs: its horrible to experience things like that. .

Have you tried some crystals near ur bed or under ur pillow? Things like Amethyst .. which is good for calming, cleansing and meditation or some Green Fluorite which is absorbs negative energy and jasper does something similar .. POssibly some Aventurine for balance. Im sure there are a few you could put together

Not sure if you believe in crystals but maybe worth a try. .

I hope anyone who reads this doent think I am crazy but Ashleigh this is what I would love you to try and do before you go to bed tonight

I want you to quiet your mind and say either out loud or in your head....

"My bed is my haven ...I am safe here..."

Then visualise yourself being surounded in WHITE light, BLUE light, PURPLE light and finally a layer of GOLD light...do this three times so you ar surrounded by a huge bubble of protective light

Then openly ask Archangel Michael to watch over you while you sleep ( he is a protector and defender).. and release or you fears and problems over to him...

I hope this give you some help and you get the peaceful sleep you so desperately need xoxo

My gosh Kristi H, my girlfriend did/does a very similar thing as she too had/has similar bedtime experiences as Ashleigh. She protects herself in a bubble of white light and so forth. It has done wonders for her. She can finally sleep undisturbed. She was told what to do from a psychic. She had tried sleeping pills, hypnotherapy, drugs - the lot. The "protection bubble" as my girlfriend and I call it, was the answer for her. Stopped the dreams, visions, seeing dead relatives, feelings of others being in her bedroom, all negative energies too.

Hi Ashleigh, please try what Kristi h has suggested. My girlfriend too was utterly terrified to go to bed at one stage, on the verge of a breakdown. This has been the relief she desperately needed. Soooo hope it can help you too. Best of luck:hugs:

Hi Ash

I used to have horrible nightmares - rather vilent ones and usually would even wake up with some sort of injury that semed associated with the dream. I even woke up one morning and my watch had been broken off.
A good friend of mine came over and cleansed my room and the rest of the house, (but really focussed on my room as she said there was a lot of negative energy in there) and the nightmares stopped straight away.
I am sorry but I don't remember what she used to do this - but there are some lovely ladies here on Bubhub who will be able to tell you how this can be done.
I strongly recommend it as it made a HUGE difference to me!

Thank you so much ladies.

I actually pray every night for protection. I pray for protection for Chloe, Adam my family then myself.

I say it repeatedly just before trying to fall asleep, but it NEVER works. :(
I guess whatever higher power wants me to have nightmares.

I remember talking with Laura one day then that night I had no nightmares and I was so happy, but the next night, they came back.

Krisseh- I'd be willing to try the cystals I just don't know where to buy them, actually I think I might know where. There's a new store that's just opened up at Tuggerah, I might have a look there.

Laura- I hope I can have a chat with you soon. I just can't believe waking up and there was my Aunt blowing cigarette smoke on me, it was so strong, I remember tapping Adam asking if he could smell it but he was dead to the world asleep.
Then my Great Grandad, I was walking through my now living Grandparents old home and he was sad because the house had been sold and he was just standing in the kitchen looking sad but he smiled at me and I remember hugging him, just the image of me hugging an invisible spirit but it was so real.

The tidal wave was scary because I left to go see what was about to happen but I didn't get back in enough time to save Chloe. Adam wasn't in the dream but my Mum was with Chloe.

Thanks everyone for you advice. Deinitely taking it into account.

Hi Asleigh im so sorry that you are having the dreams,it can seem very scary.

In regards to passed relatives in your dreams i would say that they are not actually dreams but them visiting you in your dreams and thats why it feels so real,i have had it before and it can be scary.Just try to achnolegde (sp) that they are there.

I had a dream a few weeks ago and in the dream one night Serena died and then the next night in my dream Sasha died it scared the cr@p out of me.

But often dreaming of your kids passing means the opposite, new begginings new life etc.

HTH put your mind at ease a bit.

I get this alot too and is probably why im not sleeping well.

Hey Ash, I have disturbing and sometimes very scary dreams almost everynight. I always wake so tired and frustrated from the nights dreams, and dread going to sleep because of them.
I too am looking for an answer....

I don't think you're crazy Kristi H, that sounds quite lovely actually!

So sorry you're feeling this way Ash :hugs: I used to have real bad nightmares, but they are so rare nowadays. I stopped having caffeiene after 4pm a while back, and i definitely sleep better for it, that much i know. Nowhere near as many vivid dreams. Also try telling yourself you don't want them, seriously. Your mind is so powerful, you'd be surprised what you can achieve.

I used to clench my teeth so bad at night that i would wake with headaches. One night i was so scared of waking with yet another headache that i told myself repeatedly while falling asleep "I will not clench my teeth, i am relaxed. I will not clench my teeth" and believe it or not, i don't do it anymore (according to my DH anyway!).

I hope you sleep better soon hun :fingerscrossed:

Thanks everyone for your comfort and involvment on my nightmares!

Today I went to this new shop at westfeild tuggerah and the ladies said I should burn a sage leaf before bed and put the amethyst gem in my pillow case, pray for protective white light and purple.

I will give it a go tonight. :fingerscrossed:
