Clomid & Painful Periods

Hi All

I recently did my first round of 25mg of clomid. I had some mild headaches while taking the clomid. I recently got my period and have had more headaches and the most painful period pains of my life, and not to be mention feeling so bloated. I know that headaches seem to be a common side effect, but i haven't read anywhere about painful periods.
Has anyone had the same experience??
I am going back to see my dr tomorrow, so going to ask him as well for his thoughts.

Can't comment as I am also on my first cycle. Please post what you find out so I know if I get the same thing in a wekk or so.

Hopefully the pain goes away.

I used to get really painful periods so I am expected a bit more pain when I do ovulate.

on my forst round of provera (which induces af) it was a normal af...but when my fs put clomid into the equation...OH MY GOD!!!!! WAS IT SORE! i felt like i hemoraged when it finally arrived. it was a HUGE gush of blood :gloomy: (sorry TMI) but the second clomid cycle was fine again...

p.s do circular movements with your hips, nice and slow...it helped me.

Painful periods are a great sign that you ovualted during your cycle. Clomid as far as I know is to make you ovulate so I think it's excellent news!

Bummer about the pain though. Goodluck concieving. :fingerscrossed:
