View Full Version : I'm dreaming about nappies... this isn't normal!
Since switching to cloth every single dream I've had is about cloth nappies.
Last night I dreamt about GK funtimes. I don't even own any ( I want to get some though :D ) All the kids in my dream were wearing them, every shop sold them and my whole dream was like an easter hunt to find them  I'm not normal.... but I'm loving it

Since finding Bubhub my DP has accused me on numerous occasions of being obsessed with nappies. I say well this is the stage of my life that I am at right now and I dont have much else to think about really......... so can I pleassssssse have some money to buy another nappy??
(and he almost always says YES!) hehe

HEhe..
wish this worked for me.... DH always says.. "How many do you need???? Don't you have enough ALREADY?"
 Although I think he realises we need some more now when he put the boys in AIO's instead of fitteds before they went to kindy this morning, so I had to pack an extra disposable in their kindy bags as they wouldn't have enough pockets/AIO's to make it through the day.... :banghead:

That is exactly what DP says to me too. He has taken to not answering me when I ask if it is a good time to buy more! I have given up and demanded a set amout of money and he said yes to get his big, pregnant partner off his case! I think he thought I was going to cry again or something!
I dream nappies I wake up in the night and think about them and can not get to sleep again!
This morning I brought 4 newborn fitteds from Poppets place on Ozebaby, very cheap, $8 each! I am looking forward to getting them!

WOW! What a great price!
I've decided I'm going to need about ....oh... 20 more pocket nappies to be happy :D
I know where my tax return will be going.....
(actually not true, I'm going to buy a sewing machine and pay for lessons so I can make all the nappies I want,.... in really funky colours and patterns)

With Twins you must need heaps! Lots of One size so that the baby can wear them too! At least you are having another boy, I keep buying pink one size nappies for Kyle to wear because the baby will ultimately wear them more! Poor kid, he even went to creche in a pink GK the other day! (Is that a good excuse to tell DP why I had to buy more:laughing: )
Hahaha! DH is making me buy unisex colours now, because when we have another they will need to be able to be worn by a boy... little does he know that my plan is to just boy more boy ones if the next baby is a boy!
I used to dream about nappies, but I don't anymore! I think it is totally normal, lol. At least that's what I keep telling myself!
thank god for this thread Gretel!!! I was starting to think I had massive issues!! At least I know I'm not alone in this anymore

I had a dream once that I was in charge of making up a name for the nappy colours (like avocado for green and ginger for orange...) And I was walking around a fruit shop trying to get inspiration.
Didn't tell DH. He'd think I'm absolutely nuts!

What is it exactly do you think that's so addictive about them? I can't imagine my mother getting this worked up about terry flats and pilchers! It makes me feel much better reading these posts as my DP is always telling everyone how nuts I have become over nappies!! I think he's wishing I'd never heard of MCN.
