LOL, not a problem! Depends on my mood and the situation but I do carry both babies at once. I got advice on the best way to pick up the babies which is the two of them side by side in the cot and scoop them both up that way. I don't do it often though. But yeah like I said, it depends on the mood, and whether I want to do the two trips to the bedroom, lounge room etc...
i know how fun that is andrews mum, at least bailey holds on (most times!), i think the locals out here think im mad 1/2 the time, when they see mw walk into the shops with hayden straped to my chest and bailey on my hip! - humm no wonder my back is screwed!! lol
on the well behaving baby topic, we went to another business seminar on saturday, and took hayden this time, he was really good, i had expected dh to spend 1/2 the time outside keeping him quite, but he was quite happy to roll around the floor, eat the blinds! and have a giggle - at just the right times! - he also got to say hi to a fellow business mate (another baby there!) and he was trying to hold this little bubbas hand!! (think hes learning to much from his brother!!)
For everyone else - are your babies sucking their thumbs?? It seems I have a thumb sucker in Jake. I've always given them their dummies for sleep time but I don't know whether I want Jake sucking his thumb when he's not sleeping! Should I give him the dummy and risk a 'full-time dummy' habit?? Or just let him suck his thumb and give him dummy for sleep times only?? Just worried about the thumb/hand sucking as it gets sooo shrivelled up and wrinkly and cold. What do you think?
i have now got 2 thumb suckers!!, dd and hayden, i did catch bailey the other day sucking his thumb but i think he was just copying hayden!, hayden still has his dummy and it is an emergency dummy where he really needs to shut up but is too distraught to remember he has a thumb!
other than that, im pretty sure i told you not to write to much while i was gone!!!!! :shame: anyway! lol
we booked our wedding venue on friday!, all set for the 1st of march next year!! yah!!!
on that topic, if you were invited to a wedding and asked to pay for your meals, (rather than give a gift), would you pay $50 a head? (for adults?), its gonna be a buffet meal too!
and we are paying for drinks.
oh and on the wedding topic, you wouldnt beleive who tried to but in her 2 cents yesterday!, MIL ( incase you didnt already know she was the one that made us get married - and have a crappy wedding that she planned - lots of deep angry feelings towards that woman) said to us when we mentioned the wedding venue and meal prices, sh said why dont you just have like a cocktail party?? - grrrrrrrr, i didnt even have to say a word! lol, dh got in first and was like, cause we want to have a real wedding mum, OUR wedding!!! lol
any way thats about it for now!

Angel_one yay for the wedding plans!! Stick to your guns! $50 a head isn't bad for guests to pay, its a wedding!
And if they've had their own they'd know how much they cost. Down here in Sydney wedding catering is upwards from $100 a head, and that is for average buffet. If you are asking for them to pay and no gifts its a good deal!
I love weddings, ours was so much fun too.
I definitely have a finger-sucker, G has had hers in her mouth since day 1! Its very much a "number of the beast" approach, with the middle two fingers in. She has changed it slightly so she doesnt stick her pointer in her eye.
Lord! I hope she stops it sometime. Apparently the thumb is worse for changing the shape of the mouth and future orthodontic nightmares, but that is after two I believe (correct me if I'm wrong AngelZara.
We have the big weigh-in for G this afternoon, I hope the regime is working for WeightGain2007 (reminds me of South Park a bit!). Oh well, we'll find out after 2pm.
AngelZara- I hope you enjoyed your swimming
Quitecontrary- Good luck for G's weigh-in
Angel_one- I think $50 is fine for food instead of a present, good luck with the rest of the organising
Eloranatalia- Welcome to bubhub, as others have said its quite addictive
We just got back from James' swimming lesson which he enjoyed, lucky he was wearing his swim nappy as he did a big poo  Yesterday we had a mothers group meet, but with the "other-halves" as well, met at a bar sat out of the grass and the babies played, was great to see all the different development stages with the youngest bub being 3 weeks old and the oldest being 7 months

I swear 2007 is turning to be such a lucky year for me. This week on top of everything else I have won so far this year, I won today:
A little t-shirt for Isla
A 6 pack of wine
A movie pass for Georgia Rules
I am waiting for the big prize to come up though - all these little things it must be leading to something:p
Wow O's mum! Well done!
Thumbsucking: From what I remember when I studied the peadiatrics....i should get the book out, but from what i remember, Thumbsucking can influence the developmental shape of the palate (the roof of your mouth) which in turn can change the way the bite develops. I would discourage it, even as early as when the baby teeth come thru! Thats my professional opinion anyway :)
On the topic of dentistry, Tealady: I would still wait till dd is 3 and then if those teeth r still not budging, id go along to ur dentist. I could go on and on about possibilites, pm me if u wnt anymore info
Natalia's mum
I remember EXACTLEY what i was doing at 9.07pm on 12/12...i was just 10cm dialated and starting to get very excited! Zara arrived 12.27am on 13/12 so just missed that birthday!
Anna: Swimming was great. Z is totally out to it now! tired her right out!
Andrews Mum, I have probably seen you around before, wattle grove is a small place. The new shops seems to be the hang out these days. there are a couple of mums around with twin boys. I live over near the duck pond.
Angelzara, 10cm at 9.07 pm and you didnt have her till after mid night! my godness that would have been hard work!
Angleone, I am planning a wedding as well, but a small one in Sept this year. Very exciting!
I think getting people to pay for their meals and you shouting drinks is a good idea, everyone gets nice meal and you also don't have the people wanting to come just cause they can get a free meal and drinks.
And you also don't have to go through the whole present debate.
We are still deciding about presents, We dont know if we should ask for money towards our house depost or something like that, normal wedding presents, nothing or a dontation to a charity. I know Bonnie Babes do party packs with ballons and other goodies, info on the charity and a recipt book for people who donate to claim on tax. We are planning on doing this for other birthday partys.
:smiliedance: Yay James has his first tooth, just noticed it and ouch its sharp! proud mummy just had to tell someone :D

AnnaC Oh wow congrats on his first tooth!:yelclap: Can you still b/f without being hurt?
AngelZara great that Zee liked the swimming
Not sure how I should discourage him to not sucking his thumb, he never took a dummy
Tealady thanks for the lovely pm *hugs*, sounds great I 'll be there next thursday.
O'mum will you also try Tealadies playgroup, should be fun!!
SEQlanders, are we all meeting on May 31 in Southbank in the morning??
Angel_one oh wow you are planning your wedding , that is so exciting!
We might marry to this year too after 10 years...but we haven't planned anything yet, still in the 'aftershock ' and settling in of the big move....
Sorry still too early to do more personals.
Morning ladies
second night in a row that my night is over at 5 am and that I have to get up every 2 hours during the night.
Does anybody has to do the same now?
Is that the next growth spurt??
I was so proud that he slept through the two nights before and now???
Yesterday I was already very cranky and tired and today we have a big day as I am going to meet some mums and then we are booked the first time to the Caterpillars Kids Club.
I have a very bouncy baby since saturday, he just want to be boucned up and down while holding him. Can that be bad for his joints. I try to do it in moderation and to do it very gently but he gets cranky when I don't do it. I feel like a trampolin and my arms are hurting when I have to hold him up in the air thw whole time.
He doesn't want to be for long on his back anymore so I have to put him on his tummy which he seems to enjoy. He is very good at tummy time, proud mummy speaking ....
Have a look:
Click here (http://picasaweb.google.com/corduinoz/JasonOliverMyLifeOnCamera/photo#5065395228204197778)
OK I'll put him to put bed now he will sleep until 9 am like yesterday :banghead: .
Just I have to get up to have brekky with hubby, so no point of me catching up on some sleep now. Yesterday I did it and I felt like a zombie!!
Hope you all have a great day!!
Hugs to all

Thanks O's Mum
Cordu- James has been waking every 2 hours at night for 2-3 weeks  , although ive only been feeding him once and just re-settling him all the other times, it may be because of teething? Im worried its turning into a habit for James that i dont know how to break
Cordu- That video of Jasie is gorgeous, you have every right to be a very proud mummy! You asked about the breastfeeding now james has a tooth, he hasnt figured out how to bite yet, although im sure he'll soon decide its a fun game to bite and see mummys reaction. I have to say im a little more cautious now after feeling how sharp his tooth is
Cordu: I know, its pretty much impossible to discourage or stop thumbsucking when they r this young and i think most kids grow out of it after the first year, so dont worry! Z sucks on her index finger...she never took a dummy either!
Its Zee's christening this sunday and my birthday :)
Problem is i have nothing to wear!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im gng shopping today. We only invited family and a few friends and still came to 35ppl!!! Ahhhhh..
Hi All,
Gee's so many posts to read.
Chelsea has been sleeping for 11 hours straight so far. Can't believe it. Might start making noise soon to wake her up.. My boobies are so full!!!
She is now eating solids 3 times a day. Rice cereal in the morning, veg for lunch and dinner. So far I have tried her on potato and atm she's on choco's and will try her on sweet potato 2mrw.
Her poo was such a shocking smell the first time she did it! Wow solids really makes them smell bad! So mushy now and none of this liquidy ones. (Sorry tmi). I was concerned at first as she wasn't pooing as her usual self but now shes back to doing it 3 times a day.
Was supposed to get her immunised last friday but will get it done this friday instead and hope to get her ears pierced next thursday.
Got the huggies musical mat last week. I love it but poor Chelsea is scared of the cow's moo sound. She just cries!!
Got to change her car seat position some time this week so that's it's facing forward... might get hubby to do it this alvo.
Angel_one - goodluck with the wedding plans! That's excellent that you guys set the wedding date. With the guests paying for there meals, do they actually pay for it before they enter the reception or they just give you cash in an envelope?
O'mum - cute pic of Isla! Definately a chubba bubba!
cordu68 - that's such a cute video clip of him
AngelZara - thanks for the info about the thumbsucking. Chelsea doesn't suck her thumb but more like her pointing finger, but she's not really sucking it she just puts in near her lips to put herself to sleep.
Have a nice day everyone.
We are off to Target to take advantage of the nursery stuff for sale. Well as soon as she wakes up anyway.

we booked our wedding venue on friday!, all set for the 1st of march next year!! yah!!!
That's great to hear!! Enjoy planning your wedding!!
I swear 2007 is turning to be such a lucky year for me.
Maybe buy a lottery ticket!! You might get lucky to nab the BIG one!!
Andrews Mum, I have probably seen you around before, wattle grove is a small place. The new shops seems to be the hang out these days. there are a couple of mums around with twin boys. I live over near the duck pond.
I love the new shops!! It's sooo clean compared to what it was like before!! Especially good we have a Michel's Patisserie cafe now!! ;)
I have a very bouncy baby since saturday, he just want to be boucned up and down while holding him.
Jake is a real bouncer, my arms get sooo sore too!! He loves his jolly jumper though. Have you got one?? Sorry to hear that Jasie's day starts sooo early in the morning. Try to have a sleep when he goes back to bed??
Its Zee's christening this sunday and my birthday. Problem is i have nothing to wear!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im gng shopping today. We only invited family and a few friends and still came to 35ppl!!! Ahhhhh..
Have a great day!!! Nothing like a special occasion to go and get a new outfit!! happybirthday
Got the huggies musical mat last week. I love it but poor Chelsea is scared of the cow's moo sound. She just cries!!
I sent in my barcodes and $12.95 order for one of these yesterday!! Hope it's good!!
Got a letter in the mail yesterday regarding Christian's will from his mother. Christian had changed his will back at the start of April, so if anything was to happen to him, Kyan & I would be okay. It scared me because it wasnt actually done formally on the will but just through his mother, who he trusts... but it was done only weeks before he died, it was like he knew something was going to happen...
That's really freaky, but it's great that he thought of you guys. You are doing great supporting your cousin in her time of grief :crying: Enjoy your QLD December mums meet up, and give Kyan an extra cuddle for me!!
My babies are now officially six months old!! They had their needles yesterday, and got checked out. I had a visit from the CHN as well yesterday. Hayden is 7.4kg and 68cm, while Jake is 6.8kg and 66cm. Both babies are meeting their six month milestones!! They are both roly poly babies, so spend a bit of time in the playpen with their toys. They still wake a few times a night but hopefully that'll change soon. All is good!! :smiliedance:
Cordu- James has been waking every 2 hours at night for 2-3 weeks  , although ive only been feeding him once and just re-settling him all the other times, it may be because of teething? Im worried its turning into a habit for James that i dont know how to break
Not sure if I could take that so long, I'm feeding always as I think it is another growth spurt and he goes after a feed immediately to bed, just not the last feed then he laways looks at me and smiles, whi can resist him and then I take him downstairs to his gym.
Cordu- That video of Jasie is gorgeous, you have every right to be a very proud mummy! You asked about the breastfeeding now james has a tooth, he hasnt figured out how to bite yet, although im sure he'll soon decide its a fun game to bite and see mummys reaction. I have to say im a little more cautious now after feeling how sharp his tooth is
Thank you :hugs:!!
I hope it is not that painful when he discover that he can bite.
Chelsea has been sleeping for 11 hours straight so far. Can't believe it. Might start making noise soon to wake her up.. My boobies are so full!!!
cordu68 - that's such a cute video clip of him
Oh wow 12 hours sleep I wish !!
thanks Sabby , hugs to you!
Good to hear Anna. Did James have a hard time with his teeth? Kyann's on his 3rd tooth now, and they have been giving us hell on and off since he was 3 months old... poor boy.
The 31st sounds good to me. I will just make sure I can stay at my sisters for the night as driving back and forth in one day is just wayyy to much for me.
Kyan is doing the same as Jason with waking twice a night. He has been for a few weeks now. I put it down to a growth spurt as he is sleeping quite often during the day. Every so often he'll sleep through, but he'll wake at least twice per night. I feel your pain! Must be those Christmas Day bubbas! :p
Have you tried a jolly jumper for his bouncing? I bought one a while back and Kyan loves it. He spends so much time in it and jumps all over the place.
That is really freaky that he was making his will just before he had the accident.
Sorry to hear about your cousin, SIDS how scary !
Hope you will have luckier events during the year.
Kyan has already 3 teeth, oh wow.
Jasie has none yet , good at least he can't bite me.
I was thinking about a Jolly Jumper on the week-end , but we have no real door frames to hang it on.
T
Jake is a real bouncer, my arms get sooo sore too!! He loves his jolly jumper though. Have you got one?? Sorry to hear that Jasie's day starts sooo early in the morning. Try to have a sleep when he goes back to bed??

Oh wow time flies great they pass 6 months with flying colours.
I wish I could catch up on some sleep , but I need to keep DP company for brekky make his lunch etc ....and then I am awake and ready to start the day. Today he woke up again at 8 am and at 10 we left the house
I was today the first time at Caterpillars Kids Club, i think it is something similar to Gymbaroo. At first it was a bit overwhelming but I think Jasie quite enjoyed all the activities. It was so cute to watch the older babies crawling around. We will go now every Tuesday!! Hey o'mum maybe something for Isla??
Oh, May 31 is a Thursday that's when the playgroup is on where I wanted to join tealady and o'mum might go there too, can we do it on another day except Tuesdays and Thursdays??
really looking forward to it. I love going to the city and I think Jasie loves being in the Ergo with me. He looks left and right we we are on the bus !

Our good news is that WeightGain2007 is officially working, G put on 250g, which is a big jump up from 25g the week before. I am pleased, I don't think she could be getting much more out of me! I still feed her every two to three hours on average during the day, and she usually sleeps through (with the dream feed) from 7 til between 5 and 7am.
Down here in NSW if you join the playgroup association you get the Australian Baby Card for free - thanks for reminding me Cordu. By the way Jasie looks so lovely in his little video.
Tomorrow we are going to the Babes in Arms session to see Eric Bana's latest film with some of our mother's group. It should be an interesting experiment. I hope G just does what she did the last time we went to the flicks - eat and sleep and not carry on too much.
Chrissy, your friend is very lucky to have such a pillar of support in you. My thoughts are with you. What a draining time you are having.
Genevieve is calling me, so I suppose I should go and feed her again!
Thanks Mary :) Great that Genevieve has gained such a lot of weight. Have fun tomorrow at the Babes in arms session.

was not supposed to advertise the australian baby card. But maybe I am allowed to say you can google it and you will see that you can great discount if you join.

Hi Girls
Sorry I haven't posted in a long time....
I check in but was too scared to post :o
Cordu, Jason is such a cutie, love his cloth nappy and leg-warmer style.
Chrissy, I'm sorry to hear you've had such a tough time :hugs: you are such a strong woman.
The pics of Kyan are gorgeous! such a happy feel.
AngelZara, I hope Zara's christening is a beautiful day and you find a nice outfit.
Well a little about us....
We had a bit of a scare just over a month ago. The dr suspects Kevin has scoliosis (curvature of the spine), the paed. thinks there is something but wants to re-assess in a few month.
I feel for the mummies with the night-waking bubs. Kevin still (and always has) wakes every 2-3hrs during the night and only has two half hour days sleeps sooo
Uni is going well but playing with Kevin is far more fun than studying...have to force myself most of the time.
His highness is screaming at me

Chrissy- wow you are amazing, youve been through so much
AndrewsMum- Happy 6 Month Birthday to your babies
AngelZ- Happy Birthday for this weekend, i hope the christening goes well and you found an outfit to wear
I gave James some pumpkin for the first time today and he loved it. I only gave him a little bit and he was crying when it was finished. Can an experienced mum tell me, do i just keep feeding him until he wont take any more or do i limit it to a couple of spoons? I can see him being a bottomless pit and i dont want to over feed him as hes already 10kgs

Hi girls
Hows everything going. Ive been going to playgroups the last couple of days. Mondays playgroup was sooo *****y, so I dont think I'll be going there again, but Tuesdays was really nice. So Ill try and make it a weekly thing. Just annoying that the early childhood nurse comes at the same time as the playgroup. Soph thinks its great.
Waiting on a person from family daycare to call me back, they were meant to yesterday, but havent as yet. They only work Tuesdays and Fridays, so I'll have to call again on Friday. Fees for family day care are really good. After our rebate from medicare we'll pay about 56c an hour. So we should be able to put sophie in for 2 days. Will put lachy down on the wait list for next yr.
Lachy is a devil child at the moment. We've had the last 2 nights up and down to him. Hes getting another tooth, still hasnt broken through though. He finally went to sleep at about 6pm last night, after being up since about 2am. Screaming pretty much the whole time. I think they sense when I have bloody uni assignments due!!!
Raven - bummer about missing sex!!!! Bet hubby will make it up to you when he comes home though!!
Anna C. I think babies will stop eating when they are full. So id feed him as much as he wants. Sounds like you have a big chubba on your hands!!! Lachys not even 6kg yet!!!

lol, at least its only the baby waking up at night!!, i have a 1 year old cutting both his top I teeth, (who some how has a coat hanger twisted up on the back of his shirt?? - hes having a hissy fit cause he cant get it off! lol) anyway... so he is awake at least once a night, i also for some reason have a almost 4 year old whos trying to **** mummy and daddy off (thinks shes trying to see just how far she can push us!) and keeps getting up in the middle of the night, i actually woke up to her in bed with me yesterday! and this morning (2am!) she comes to our room (which hayden is still sleeping in!) and omg cant be quite!, she sucessfully woke up the whole house at 2am !!! - and then attempted it again at 7am (not that that is a problem, however the longer i can get bailey to sleep the better!) screaming at daddy cause he wouldnt get her breakfast - he was late for work!!, and of course i wasnt waking up fast enough! (humm do think i was tired you silly kid!)
and so on to the baby! well hes a gem, when she woke everyone up at 2, he was just laying in his bassinet, looking around, i put her (after a fight) back to bed and he went back of to sleep with out even needing to be picked up!! - thank god one of them was being kind!!
other than that, i too am trying to do assignments and of course i have the children who know what is going on! - i did manage to complete a essay due on friday, last night though!! (thank god, now i can work on the last assignment for the term!)
but this is when hayden plays up, when mummy is trying to study! you see right now mummy isnt studying, however in a fem mins i will be and he will start up! lol
oh the best thing to say though is: at least 3/4 of my house is decent looking!!!, yup, i have managed to keep the kitchen clean every day (dishes mainly) the lounge room isnt too bad even with the kids **** every where, and the dining room is clean too, now i just have to work on jamies room!! - i will have to post a pic later, of what it looks like (its shocking, and the worst part is that i know if that was my room 10 year ago i would have have a very sore toshie!! lol - yet i let my daughter get away with it!)
oh well!

The QLD/NSW mummies... you ladies doing anything for the orign tonight?
Sending DH and Ozzy over to his mates to watch the game - so it will be just me and Isla at home (oooh I can't wait)! I will give the game a miss though - I think I will just stick with listening to the radio - might win something again:p
I just wanted to share a pic of Isla

Oh wow, thats a gorgeous pic! Did you take it?
OMG I just won Linkin Parks new cd:smiliedance: I don't know where all this luck is coming from this year but I hope it stays:fingerscrossed:
Awesome, you are one lucky lady OM!
and to top it all off...im probably the only one to say this out of all of you...i miss sex lol.
Your Hubby will be home soon enough!
Miss Ava has been waking up too lately. And sleeping very minimal during the day also.

Aww clever boy!!
Well I took Ava to get weighed yesterday.. Shes 6.9kg - Which means only a gain of 800gm in 2 months. Is this an okay amount to gain? Or should it be more... BUT She has grown 8.5cms in 2 months!!! So i'm thinking shes just (obviously) gotten longer and thats where all her fat has gone too.
Shes now rolling everywhere now :crying:. I'm very sad. My little baby just isnt so little anymore! She also has a very gunky eye, i've been spraying some breastmilk in there and it seems to be getting better!

What cute pics - he is a very clever clever boy! His face in the 2nd pic is priceless (cute nappy too);) . Is that a dog in the pic too? What type of dog do you have?
We have a dog she is an outside dog but is only a little thing (mini daschund x silky) and she is really good with Ozzy - but she hated him to begin with and wouldn't go near him, but she is adjusting and now runs around playing silly buggers with him everyday. Anyone else have a dog?

As long as Ava is following a curve in weight gain and not drastically dropping it is fine with her weight. Does that make sense?
Anyone else have a dog?
We have a dog, well hes still a Puppy. Jacob loves him and he loves Jacob so thats all that matters.
Although i'm sooooo OVER the Puppy behaviour (Digging, pulling my washing off the line :banghead: ).

We are having Family Photos on Friday, should be interesting to see how they go! I want to get a Family one and then some of Ava by her self and if Jacob behaves some of him and Ava. I know he wont sit there long enough to get some of him by himself.
Yup, she seems in proportion! And she hasnt lost weight

And Mel i wouldnt worry to much about it as long as like O's mum said if shes still going up and her percentile isnt changing to drastically then its nothing to worry about.

so Ava is doing well at 6.9kgs

That's great!
Lots to catch up on today, great photos everyone.
Had sing along at the library thismorning, it went well James enjoyed it, although he grabbed onto the ladies hair that was sitting next to us, so im apologising and trying to extract his slobbery fingers from her hair  :o The whole time he was trying to grab her hair after that even though i faced him the other way and tried to distract him with a toy. It always has to be the person that dressed like theyre going to a dinner party rather than playgroup that he pukes or dribbles on or pulls hair:rolleyes:
My Fallen Angel, Natalia dribbles like mad, we were going to take her to her grandparents in the country in hope it would break the drought!
Elora never dribbled, not even when teething or anything.
I can't remember who it was talking about teeth and breast feeding, I breast fed Elora for about 8-9 months (she got too big and hard on my back) and she had about 6 teeth by then, she tried to bite a couple of times, I would take her off the breast straight away, say no firmly and put her back on, and did that each time she tried to bite, she soon stopped. I wont have that problem with Natalia, she is bottle fed, she never caught on to the whole boob thing! unlike Elora who within 15 min of being born was breast feeding and didnt come off for 8 months.
The pictures of peoples babies and babies bums are very cute! how do i put that little click here link toshow pictures?
Yes braden dribbles like theres no tomorrow but i dont see any signs of teeth coming out i even touch his gums to check but i see the teeth silhouettes on his gums, does that mean teeth are almost here ...
as for sleeping, he still wakes up every four hours for a feed so that means i wait for him to wake up at 11ish before i go to bed and then 3ish and then 6ish and is completely awake by 7-8 am has never slept through the night ...
he has been a very observant boy lately especially when eating he tries to grab it off me or watches me put things in my mouth and he opens his mouth as well hoping mummy will put it in his mouth ... we went to a house warming party this weekend and i decided since he cant bite yet to give him a slice of carrot to suck, he was sucking on that thing like theres no tomorrow and absolutely cracked it when i took it away from him :shame: ... i think he is already ready for solids but i've held off his long might as well wait a couple more weeks till he's 6 months old.
i've noticed that he's also having dry skin problems so i started using qv bath oil in his bath and hydraderm as a lotion :fingerscrossed: that will solve it and doesnt develop into eczema ...

how do i put that little click here link toshow pictures?
When you insert a link you press the world symbol above right and insert the web adress that you want to put into the thread and then press enter. Once you have pressed enter you will see part of the address is still highlighted in the post so then just type 'click here' or whatever you want to be the hot key for the link.
Did that make sense?
Okay one more thing ... braden loves tummy time now but i notice that he actually goes backwark KWIM... i'd put him down on his playmat and he'd roll after a few minutes then when i check on him he is lower almost off the mat than where i left him or where he rolled over ... is anyone elses baby doing this? does this mean he knows how to crawl just doesnt know how to go forwards?

on the subject of our bubs with the family pets, i have a little ginger cat call saffron who sits right next to eli when hes on the couch i came into the lounge with his bottle and here he was sitting next to the catch one hand on her head watching tv with her! my damn battery for my camera was flat was sooo mad would have been the most cutest photo! she just sits while he pats her in his almost abusive way lol, she just laps up the attention.
its not as cold as last night but still rather cold lol, i put eli in a few layers then put him in his little tigger sleeping bag sleepsuit over his already pjs.
well i guess id better go make his bottles as he only had an hour and a half downtime today so i was playing the child entertainer roll till i was almost asleep!

Hi Girls
Sorry I haven't posted in a long time....
I check in but was too scared to post
Cordu, Jason is such a cutie, love his cloth nappy and leg-warmer style.
It's so great to hear from you :hugs: I was already wondering how you are, don't be scared. Let us see some pics of Kevin. Thanks, yeah Jasie is a cutie but I'm a biased mum hehe.:D
Hope Kewin will be ok, sorry to hear about the scare.
Good to hear that Uni is going well, I was also thinking of continuing my studies again but haven't done it yet.
Sorry guys I won't be able to make it on 31st as it's a Thursday and I work Thursdays.
Maybe next time.
How about meeting not on Thursday or Tuesday, I wanted to go to Tealady's playgroup which is on next thursday. How about a day later??
its good to know that Rylans not the only one waking through the night
he use to sleep so well now these last few weeks hes been waking a few time through the night and its driving me mad!
Cordu Jason look so cute in that video!
Rylan is now sitting!
hes been doing it for about a week now but nows hes just so good at it i had to share a picture!
Thanks Kellie :)
Oh wow, Rylan is clever and just so cute,Jasie just hates sitting. Yesterday at the Caterpillars Kids Club we had to do some exercise with the baby sitting and touching their toes and he just didn't like it.
Maybe Rylan has a growth spurt at the moment. Jasie was fine last night again , just woke up once. But he is a bit crankier than usual during the day.

She has overtaken almost the boys !!

Nanay (omg thats my cousins nick name- lol) anyway, hayden lives in a playpen (good size one, and at the moment his goal in life is to see how many times he can disturb mummys study time by rolling/wriggling into the side (hitting his head and screaming is the way it goes!), i do believe (and im not in the mood to pull out ds1's book to find out) but i think before the 6mth mark he was all over the lounge room (6mths use out of the friggin play mat!! them he couldnt care less about it!)

well girls its fianlly happend, dh's grandad gave up last night, and afte nearly 8 long months in hospital passed away in sleep last night.
well i was comming on here becasue i couldnt understand why i wasnt up set about it, but it has just hit me (i think writing it down was the trick!)
now i dont want to cry cause jamie will pick up on it and i dont want to have to tell her,i dont know if i should tell her and or leave it to dh to tell her
i am so happy now, that i made dh go in and see his grandad lasst time we were in town now, as he has been avoiding the issue, only simply because he couldnt deal with seeing his grandad looking like he did, i know i had only just dealt with seeing what use to be a strong, stern, dare i say - scary man, now lying in a hospital bed, unable to move, eat or do anything for himself. and i have only know the man for 8 years, i can only imagine what dh is thinking when he saw his grandad.
thanks girls, just needed to get that stuff out.

We had no sleep last ngiht. So now Ive had about 3 hrs sleep over 3 nights. Hes driving me mental. I just have no idea what to do, or whats wrong. Im going to try and get into the drs today, but I dont think my gp is working. And the early childhood nurse isnt here until tuesday. I dont know whether I have enough milk (wont take a bottle), I think stress may be affecting it (I have assignments due very soon for uni!), no sleep, means less milk production. I dont think hes cold, although I will wrap him up more tonight and see if it makes a difference. I just dunno what to do. Hubby cant help out overnight because lack of sleep can effect his epilepsy, and I can leave the kids with him and go for a sleep during the day, just in case he has a seizure.

How about meeting not on Thursday or Tuesday, I wanted to go to Tealady's playgroup which is on next thursday. How about a day later??
A Friday is perfect for me - only day in the week where I don't have to work at all!!! :smiliedance:
All's going well here - Sam is starting to sleep better at night again! :yelclap: I ended up moving him to his cot in his room and he sleeps alot better, I think our tossing and turning plus DH's snoring was disturbing his sleep. He's now down to only waking once through the night (around 4am after going to bed around 7pm) instead of the 6+ times he had been for the last 2 months. So I'm feeling human again.
Nanay - Sam also goes backwards on the mat, as well as rolling around the mat - he's never in the one place long.
RavenDancer - that sounds so cute with Eli and the cat - my dog tries to do run by lickings of Sam when he's on the mat - but won't stop long enough for Sam to actually touch her. lol
AngelOne - :hugs: it's hard telling our children about loosing a family member.
cordu68 - I have a dribble monster too!

I want to get into a sleep clinic, but apparantly the closest one to us is in Brissy, and I cant take sophie with us, which means we cant go. Didnt even get a chance to close my eyes last night. Going to call my father in law and 1) see if he can fight my battles with my gp (they dont seem to think me getting 3 hrs sleep over 72 hours because of my son warrents an emergency appointment, and they dont have any appointments for a few weeks. and 2) take sophie for a walk so I might be able to get 20 mins sleep or something.
I really need to get my PE assignment done too :crying:

Jake has a problem with eczema and it's not healing so I can't imagine how uncomfortable he must be! We visited the paed yesterday who has referred Jake to a dermatologist, so it's the next step...

 Wow! I called the dermatologist yesterday and managed to get an appointment in for late June! And this is at the Children's Hospital in Westmead, so not quite a long wait as your friend (poor thing).
Hi all, Z didnt sleep more then 3hrs last night either!! Whats going on.............geeeez.
I bought a mouli (sp?) yesterday and its so good, it mashes carrot really well and if anyone needs one they are $59.95 reduced to $35.00 in DJ's. I tried to mash the carrot by hand but really couldnt!
Ive made now 2 ice trays full of food for z for next week when im starting her on solids.
DH lost the car keys yesterday! We spent 3hrs waiting for someone to find them, they did thankgoodness. So boring!
Andrewsmum: good to hear u got an appt. Goodluck!
MCNmum: :hugs: hope ur fil can work something out for u.
oh i cnt remember anymore!!
Have a great day everyone
Good Morning Ladies!!!
I got Chelsea sleeping in her cot now! :smiliedance: I have made the transition of her sleeping from her bassinett to her cot. She slept there last night and only woke up at 12.30am and has slept through and still sleeping now. So so far sleeping almost 9 hours straight. Now I still have to get her off sleeping with a wrap! No rush I think too many changes is tooo hard to do.
Going to the dr's today to get her immunisation. Hope she will be ok with it. I will also get a couple of my moles check while I'm there. It's growing so want to make sure it's not one of those cancerous ones...
Angel_one - Sorry to hear the loss of your DH
Andrewsmum - Hope your twins was settled last night and gave you a good night sleep. Thinking of doing the control crying??? Through Karitane at Fairfield - resident stay for a week?
MCNmummyof2 - BIG :hugs: to you. Hope your little one sleeps better soon.
Nanay - Chelsea also doesn't really roll much anymore now only moves about 360 degrees on the one spot. Apparently this is a good sign and she might crawl soon. I don't think she will be yet, I'm hoping not yet. Otherwise I have to build a major barrier for her so she doesn't get to the tiles!
cordu68 - Ohhh! Poo explosion! Just love those!!! Since Chelsea is now in solids, no more runny liquidy poo. But her poo is heaps! I need to help her poo most of the time. And she normally poo's when I'm changing her nappy. So I'm there bending her knees up while she pushes it out and does about 5 push of big poo's! Oh so disgusting to watch! (Sorry tmi!)
RavenDancer - got a heater? So cold there!
Nic71 - Nice to hear Sam is sleeping well. Good little man!
Sydneymum's - are we up for a meeting???
Anyone going to the Baby Expo - DH, Chelsea and I will be going on Sunday 3/6 after 12pm.
To everyone else I forgot - hope you are all doing well and hope you all have a great weekend.
Z didnt sleep more then 3hrs last night either!! Whats going on.............geeeez.
IIve made now 2 ice trays full of food for z for next week when im starting her on solids.
:hugs: to you! Hope she lets you catch up on some sleep during the day at least.
For the first week I only gave Chelsea rice cereal and only once a day then went 2 times a day for a couple of days then gave her veg's.. But I started her on solids 10 days before she was 6 months old that's why I was reluctant to go straight away and give her veg's.
God I havent been on this thread for ages! No 4 My God!!!
Hope everyone is well. Sounds like you will all have fun at your catch ups. So, how many of you have actually met in RL now?? Quite a few by the sounds of it. Maybe I can convince DH on a QLD/NSW holiday.... :p
Well, we have had action stations here. Nothing ever seems 'normal' for me atm, and I'm quite sick of it.
I went to hosp last week to have a cyst removed, turns out it is actually attached to my bowel and they cant remove it - need to go get opened up episiotomy style and look that way :barf: NO THANKS. I'll live with it.
DS, who was born with heart blockages, now has been diagnosed with some weird oesophagus disease - a condition which will also need t/ment for the rest of his life.
It just irritates me. The poor kid has had enough. I only took him to the dr with a runny nose Monday morning and they rushed him to hospital for xrays and the like (no dr really wants to touch him with the heart prob) and on Wed ended up having an endoscopy!!
My kids and I just obviously have weird medical stuff. Everything seems to be rare - bowel cysts for me, ovary removed on a baby, heart surgery on another baby, stomach issues etc.
Anyway, I'm just having a whinge and letting you know why I havent been on.
AngelOne - Sorry to hear of DH's grandad. Hope you are ok.
God, it's time to pick DS up from school. Blimen early day Fridays!! !

How can I help Kyan learn to sit. He's showing sign's he wants to...
Keep helping him sit and he will be doing it in no time. We have a bumbo seat and that I think has helped Isla learn to sit early.
So, how many of you have actually met in RL now??
My kids and I just obviously have weird medical stuff. Everything seems to be rare - bowel cysts for me, ovary removed on a baby, heart surgery on another baby, stomach issues etc.
I have met Tea Lady, Draught, Angel_one and Chrissy - I think that's it (apologies if I have forgotten someone though).
:hugs: you seem to be having a rough trot you poor thing. What happens if you don't get the cyst on your bowel removed can it cause problems?
:hugs: you seem to be having a rough trot you poor thing. What happens if you don't get the cyst on your bowel removed can it cause problems?
Well, not sure yet. I go to see a doc next Wednesday who specialises in bowels, anuses and sphincters. :o I'm sure he'll let me know more. It could be a strain from birthing, or a sign of Crohens (sp) disease. No other symptoms of that though, so I'm sure its good. Gonna be a fantastic examination though I'm sure. :p
OMG Phoebe is screaming again!! better go.
I'm out scrapbooking tonight at a friends place and the kids are staying home!! Poor DH. Feebs will scream. It's all she's been doing lately. Although, still getting 11 hrs or so sleep, so thats good. Cant complain.
I will be back later to get more personals done.
Kells- Sorry to hear about all your medical dramas for you and your family
Ive only met a couple of bubhubbers in RL but none of the december mummies unfortunatly, ive thought about going to a brisbane meet but i dont know the area at all and would end up completely lost
Chrissy- Im guessing with helping Kyan to sit, just keep practising. We also have a bumbo seat for James, I hadnt even tried him sitting by himself for ages then I just tried it a few weeks ago and he could do and and has been doing it even since, its like he leant it without me even knowing
Sabby- Glad you and Chelsea are getting plenty of sleep
AngelZ- Thanks for the tip about the mouli, ive tried using the magic bullet but it doesnt seem to whizz stuff up small enough so mite have to get one
Not much happening here, had mothers group thismorning which James always enjoys, it only goes til theyre 6 months so off to playgroup for us in a few weeks. Hes still not sleeping well, woke 3 times last night. Hes in his tigger bouncer at the moment, he loves it
Have a good weekend everyone
sabby- I have a book called "baby and toddler meal planner" by Annabell Karmel.
It says rice creal the first 2days and then carott and then sweet potato and then pear...im just gng to follow her meal plan...
Zara will be 5 1/2mths next week. ECHN said to start her, and im happy too, she needs it. She is sitting, almost crawling and constantly hungry!

Oh dear Isla is sick for the first time today. I think she has the cold that Ozzy has. Poor thing has been soooo off the breast and hasn't fed since 3pm and it's now 8.40. She cried for hours and hours.
I am presuming it is a cold with a sore throat but then again it could be her reflux too cause whenever I offer the breast she screams more. I guess it's just wait and see tomorrow what she is like. Today she has had no symptoms of a cold but Ozzy is pretty sick with a cold at the moment thus being my reasons for thinking it might be that.

evening my ladies, i too have gotten mr eli into his cot! hes doing well so far two nights hes slept in it without a hitch! cept last night the last 3 hours of sleep he slept in mummys bed cause he was freezing! even with the million trillion layers i had and a hot waterbottle for him! poor love!
everythings going fine with us hes a grump im a grump we are grumpy together! lol but id like to share an email i got from one of my close girlfriends who has a little 14 month old and is due in three months for her second...but i think this is beautiful.

>Being a Mum
>We are sitting at lunch one day when my daughter

>becoming a mother will leave her with an emotional wound so raw that she will forever be vulnerable.
>I consider warning her that she will never again read a newspaper without asking, "What if that had been MYchild?" That every plane crash, every house fire will haunt her. That when she sees pictures of starving children, she will wonder if anything could be worse
>than watching your child die.
>I look at her carefully manicured nails and stylish suit and think that no matter how sophisticated she is, becoming a mother will reduce her to the primitive
>level of a bear protecting her cub That an urgent call of "Mum!" will cause her to drop a soufflé or her best crystal without a moments hesitation.
I feel that I should warn her that no matter how many years she has invested in her career, she will be professionally derailed by motherhood. She might arrange for childcare, but one day she will be going into an important business meeting and she will think of her baby's sweet smell. She will have to use every

>I want my daughter to know that every day decisions will no longer be routine.
That a five year old boy's desire to go to the men's room rather than the women's at McDonald's will become a major dilemma. That right there, in the midst of clattering trays and screaming children,
>issues of independence and gender identity will be weighed against the prospect that a child molester may be lurking in that restroom. However decisive she may be at the office, she will second-guess herself constantly as a mother. Looking at my attractive daughter, I want to assure her that eventually she will shed the pounds of
>pregnancy, but she will never feel the same about herself. That her life, now so important, will be of less value to her once she has a child. That she would give herself up in a moment to save her offspring, but will also begin to hope for more years, not toaccomplish her own dreams, but to watch her child
>accomplish theirs. I want her to know that a cesarean scar or shiny stretch marks will become badges of honor.
>My daughter's relationship with her husband will change, but not in the way she thinks. I wish she could understand how much more you can love a man who is careful to powder the baby or who never hesitates to play with his child. I think she should know that she will fall in love with him again for reasons she would now find very unromantic.
>I wish my daughter could sense the bond she will feel with women throughout history who have tried to stop war, prejudice and drunk driving.
I want to describe to my daughter the exhilaration of
>seeing your child learn to ride a bike. I want to capture for her the belly laugh of a baby who is touching the soft fur of a dog or cat for the first time. I want her to taste the joy that is so real it actually hurts.
My daughter's quizzical look makes me realize that tears have formed in my eyes. "You'll never regret

Had another bad night :( apparantly a baby not sleeping, screaming etc doesnt warrent an urgent appoinment at my gp, so we have an appointment at the end of june :( Im going to have to find another dr. Not easy where we are!

so ive made all 3 of those things ready 2 go!
Oh you must be so excited!!
I was when I gave her her first food and so proud when she took it! Oh they grow up so fast!!
Oh 2 nights in a row my little Chelsea has slept on her cot!! At the moment she has slept 11 hours straight! Can't believe it and it's 14 degrees in her room at the moment but she's got 3 layers of blanket so she's nice and warm. Just hate it that she pushes her blanket down with her hands so her poor chest doesn't have any blanket... she's probably used to it now.
She got her needles yesterday. So proud of her she only let out a little scream with the 2nd needle and she was ok after that. What a tough cookie she is!
MCNmummyof2 - Sorry to hear you had a bad night. Hope your little one settles soon o give you a nice rest.
Kells- Sorry to hear about all your medical problems and your family.
Superstar - Not really sure but what I do is a sit her in front of me and basicly support her a little when she needs it. She's still wobbly but I think if I continue to do this she will hopefully eventually sit on her own soon.
O'mum - hope Isla gets better soon.

I think Jasie is teething. He had yesterday very red cheeks and was crying on and off.
I feel so helpless when he is bittelry crying and screaming :gloomy:
I gave him some infants friend which settled him a bit He is taking constantly my hand and sucking on it and of course drooling a lot. Might have a drool rash.
I checked his gums but I can't find any teeth yet.
He is waking up now twice in the night at 1 and 5 but I was allowed to sleep until 8 this morning which I 'm quite happy with.
He is 5 months now , oh where has the time gone!
Hope you all have a good week-end!
Hugs to all mums and bubs.

Kells - oh dear, I hope thinks get better with all the medical issues. When you said about your specialist I was reminded of an episode of Seinfeld and the ***man numberplates Kramer got by mistake - they were for a proctologist.
Genevieve seems to have acquired her first cold - just the blocked nose that has turned her into a real snuffleupagis.
Can't seem to take in the fact that this time next week we will be on our way to Singapore. I wonder how G will cope with equatorial conditions. We are stopping over for 24 hours, and we will be in a hotel with a pool - so she might get her first swim ever in Singapore! That will be something for the diary.
Next week will be busy to say the least!

Well turns out Isla isn't sick at all it was her reflux playing up something chronic:banghead: I kinda wish it was a cold though - at least in a week or so they are over the cold:(
ETA: I was kind of suprised with myself today, my step father's dad passed away this afternoon and I do not get along with my step father at all and hate him more than anyone in this world (personal reasons) but I still managed to bring myself to rock up to his house with flowers and a card for his loss. I didn't think I would be able to do it, but I did. It's sad really - I guess I see my step father now as human too, I never really saw him that way before. Well enough of my ranting and raving.

I thought you weren't leaving till 2nd August?? Or did you mean 2nd June?? Wow!! That certainly means you'll be busy packing and organising your trip! Hope G gets better before you go. Just bring out the good ol' vapouriser and Fess nose spray and use it heaps!!

Gee, seems as though everyone's kids are unwell - my kids have all got snuffly noses so am using the vapouriser tonight (together with Brauer's teething relief AND infant panadol - they're drugged up LOL) here's hoping for an easier night!! Unfortunately it's been hard going the last couple of nights - i've had to get up for the babies 12 times last night!! I need sleep!

Ahh, now we all are sick. Kids have runny nose, cough and a temp that wont go down with panadol, tepid baths etc. Had 4 in the bed last night. Weve taken to co-sleeping with Lachy. Only way to get him to sleep any more than 20 mins at a time. Im thinking of going to a sleep clinic. But I'll have to ask my inlaws to take a week off work so they can look after sophie. We're just not getting more than about 40 mins sleep at a time, and then its taking an hour or two to resettle him to sleep again. We should be getting the save our sleep book as well as some baby whisperer books on Monday/Tuesday so fingers crossed they work. Calling the dr again tomorrow, surely no sleep for over a week, and temperature that wont shift with panadol constitutes a urgent appointment????
Managed to get my assignment handed in 2 minutes before the closing time!!! Only finished it 5 mins before that. Got to do science and maths, and then come mid june I get holidays!!! Thank god!

It seems that Genevieve's cold is going, but she is still a bit snuffly. Not that you'd notice during the daytime! Today we had a big family lunch out for my Mum's birthday and she smiled and laughed and impressed everyone no end doing all the right things, including sleeping in her sling whilst we ate lunch!
AndrewsMum you are right, we are busy with the thought of preparing to go, I just can't seem to get it together to pack yet. I have been doing a lot of washing - a start I suppose. I have also been getting advice from people re: the flights and suchlike.
DH's family are very excited - his cousins have been getting the baby stuff together for G - stroller, cot, car seat etc, oh and clothes. I get the feeling that what ever I bring from here will be sidelined for what they have provided for her - they have kids ranging from 6 to 2 so there are a lot of things waiting for the next baby to arrive!
Kim - trust you had a lovely day! Best wishes to you!! I am sure Z was indeed an angel on her special day too.

Hi all! Sounds like alot of us are having a tough time with no sleep, sick kids etc.
Kells I hope you enjoy you're appt (ha ha!) Seriously I hope it's ok and you don't have to get it removed!
O's mum you did well to take those flowers - good on you. I hope Isla's feeling better. Poor little thing.
Cordu - see you on Thursday (and O's mum). Can't wait to meet Jasie!
MCNMummy, you NEED to get yourself to a dr. Doesn't matter which one - please find someone who will take you. You could even go to a hospital if there's one near you. You need to get this sorted - you can't function on so little sleep :hugs:
Btw I've got a teaching degree, so if I can help with your assignments, give me a yell. What "type" of teaching are you doing?
QC I hope your packing goes ok and Genevieve gets over her cold quickly. It sounds like a terrific trip!
Superstar - love the new name :)
Angel1 Sorry to hear about your's DH's grandad. It must be a tough time for your family.
Happy Birthday Kim! I hope you had a lovely day.
Nanay I hope you can get some relief for the eczema.
Sorry to whoever I've forgotten... my brain isnt' the best these days!
Us...
The Dr thinks X may have reflux, so I gave him Gaviscon for a few days but have stopped it now because I think it was making him constipated. He had a visit with an osteopath friend of ours though, and I've also drastically cut down how much strong tea I'm drinking, and he's stopped throwing up so much and has been sleeping a bit better. I'll try to get him another appt with our friend this week and hopefully that will help more.
He's chewing everything like mad, and I think he's got "teething wee" so I guess my little gummy boy will be getting some fangs soon. Where did my little baby go??

Im doing primary education.
Im calling the dr today, and Im not going to take no for an answer. They cant treat kids like this. Hopefully come this afternoon we will know whats going on.
Of course last night lachy was pretty much an angel. Only up 4 times, only took 20-30 mins to get him back to sleep each time, but Soph was up and down all night cause shes all blocked up. The poor bugger.
MCNmummy- Glad you had a slightly better night, I hope you manage to get a Dr's appointment today. What part of northern rivers are you in?
Tea Lady- I hope you manage to get X's reflux sorted, not nice for us or for them is it
QC- Glad G is getting over her cold, sounds like she was perfectly behaved for your Mums birthday
O's Mum- Well done on that winning streak
Kim- I hope you had a lovely Birthday
We went out to dinner last night and left James with MIL, it was to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary which is today. Only the 2nd time we've been out without him since he was born, so was a nice break. Then he slept all night which he hasnt done in over a month and hes back asleep now, bliss! I have weaned James off his losec for his reflux over the weekend so will see how he gets on without it. Off to his swimming thismorning.

AnnaC hope you and James in your swimming today.
I am going to Babies books and Rhymes next month. Is yours also just 1/2 hour each week.
Tea Lady thanks :) , we are also looking forward to meeting you on Thursday!
Hope X reflux will get better soon!
Superstar Chrissy, have noticed your name change when you mentioned Kyans name :p
quitecontrary oh great that Genevieve was such an angel on your mum's birthday, hope you have a great trip to England. I'm still tossing and turning when I should visit my parents with Jasie.
Too scared to do it on my own as my DP just started a new job and can;t take holidays. Will wait his 6 month injections and then maybe.....
Oh I was up also 4 times last night aswell, Jasie decided to want to see his mum @ 1am , 2am, 3am and 5 am.I give him always a feed when he wakes up as he seems to be hungry, not sure if I should just try to settle him back to sleep.
I know that he falls asleep immediately after a feed I 'm quite happy to get up and offer him a little drink.
Of course he is asleep now !!:banghead:
Hope all sick mums and bubs get better soon!
Hugs to all!

We're in Maclean. Kinda out of grafton, near yamba.
K has decided to crawl!!! Well...backwards and it's more like doing the worm. I didn't even realise he was doing it. I left him on his belly to play on his playmat, came back in from hanging the washing out and he was over near the kitchen!!! Sacred the bajebbes outta me. Watched him for a while and he's worked out what to do... it's very very cute. Gotta start thinking about baby proofing the house now...
Wow! That's excellent! you must be so proud!!!
Chelsea has stopped rolling all together.. Just whinges now adays and want to be picked up.
Cordu- Yes the songs and rhymes is only for half an hour, nice to get out and see other mums and bubs, i hope you and Jasie enjoy it
MCNmummy- Was thinking i nite be able to help you with a Dr but your too far away, i hope you had sucess at the Dr today and manage to get some sleep tonight
Superstar- I dont think there are any problems with using the reflux meds long term, im sure your ob will keep an eye on Kyan's reflux and hopefully he'll grow out of it once his system matures, solids are introduced etc. I hope you manage to keep Kyans naming day, just tell the people what you told us, its about Kyan not them, goodluck

Well been to the dr. Lachy has a UTI. Sophie's nappy rash is infected, and I have the flu. So we are all on antibiotics. Dr said some rather harsh words to the receptionist. Apparantly anyone who is sick should be seen within the next day or 2. Just because next available appointment can been up to a month away. Kids are meant to get priority and meanwhile we were left to wait a while. Least its sorted now, and I know where I stand for next time. Now just spend $200 on drs fees and medications!!! Thank god I'll get some of it back.

Just need to vent I spose...
I'm planning to get K's naming cermony underway for Julyish and was just chatting to people who'd I like to invite...well anyways,
Long story short, people are ALREADY angry at me because one person isn't talking to this person, and this person doesn't like that person...and blah blah blah...
Ah hello??? Excuse me...since when was this day EVER about them? This day is spose to be a celebration of my wonderful son, and they just can't put their feelings aside for the sake of my son! One of them is even spose to be K's mentor...
It just really irks me. This is why I didn't have a baby shower... simply because no one could get along. I refuse to deny my son of another one of his special days simply because adults are acting like children....
Bah... ok, I'm done :)
Hey I can beat that one (lol) - I've supposedly put off holding Sam's baptism because I wanted to create a fight with SIL so she wouldn't come! (according to lovely SIL) - and here I thought it was cause we hadn't been to church! Oh if only we could pick our IL's - lol.
MCNmummyof2 - glad to hear you got into the Dr's. I hope you all get better really quickly.
All is well here - Sam seems to have got back into the hang of sleeping at night (thank goodness) - he's now only waking once or twice through the night - which is so much better than hourly.
Hope all the sick mum and bubs get better soon.

Quite a few of the dec bub's seem to have refulx... I didn't think it was all that common. K is on Losec and Gaviscon at the moment for his reflux and is well controlled.
Anyone know if there is a downside for prolonged use of meds for babies?
[B]O's Mum Chuck us over some of that luck! I did though win $2 on a scratchie this morning
That is great that his reflux is well controlled - I am not sure of long term effects of the medication - but I do know Losec has been given to reflux babies for at least 15 years as my brother was on it as a baby also - no side effects for him at all.
I wish I could share luck around - makes you wonder what brings the good luck your way eh - I seem to have sooooo much I can't believe it. Today I won $50. And a friend of mine won a prize today too that I recommended that she enter. Congratulations on your winning scratchie - I love scratchies.
Well been to the dr. Lachy has a UTI. Sophie's nappy rash is infected, and I have the flu.
Oh you poor thing - hope you all get better soon.
Cordu - see you on Thursday (and O's mum). Can't wait to meet Jasie!
The Dr thinks X may have reflux, so I gave him Gaviscon for a few days but have stopped it now because I think it was making him constipated.
What time is it on Thursday?
Also do you think the Gaviscon helped? The Dr recommended Mylanta for Isla.

Jeez, I'm glad we decided to have a Meet the Baby, Warm the house party and not anything else. Though I can understand the desire to have something more formal.
Nic71 that made me laugh!
Superstar you are right, its about your son, not anyone else.
We had a busy day again. G hasn't put on any weight this week, but the CHN assured me I was doing the right thing, and that I have a beautiful daughter. I will try and keep up the regime whilst we are away, and I think G will be getting solids as soon as she hits the 6 month mark, unless there is a miracle in the weight gain dept.
MCNmummy I am glad to hear you all saw the Doc - and I'm glad he read his receptionist the riot act. I am sure you will all be feeling better very soon. We love Maclean - and Yamba even more! Thats where we honeymooned, and had our pre-baby holiday as well - can't get enough of the place. Even dreamed about buying an apartment near the pub - as you do when you're on holidays!
DH has ordered the takeaway, dinner wont be long now, and G is asleep - all is well with the world!

I love maclean. Im a country girl and Sydney just wasnt me!!! Im trying to convince andrew that we'll buy a farm when we both get work and build a nice little house. We'll probably have to go out of maclean for that though, which isnt all the convenient becuase Andy cant drive. I love house prices up here. I dont ever see either of us working full time. My dream is to work part time, help out at the school one day a week for the kids that need it and spend the rest of my time cleaning so I have the weekends free!! Boring as hell, but who cares!! I love the tight knit community. I love that when I was down at the supermarket and had lachy screaming, one of the check out girls offered to do the shopping with us and hold lachy. People are just so nice up here.
Sorry for my mooshy post!!! I just love it!!
QC .
Tea Lady What's "teething wee"??!? No idea... lol. Quite a few of the dec bub's seem to have refulx... I didn't think it was all that common. K is on Losec and Gaviscon at the moment for his reflux and is well controlled. There such different babies when they have a sore belly. We, as in the dr and I were hoping to slowly take him off it, but he just got worse...so he's dose is back up to 20mgs a day.
Anyone know if there is a downside for prolonged use of meds for babies? I'm a bit worried about using it still as he's been on it for 5 months in a couple of days?

Hi,
Am only just popping in (came to switch of the computer before bed  ) but.....the 'baby' losec that is being given, is it a medicine or tablets?
My DS has been prescribed that for his oesaphagus issues only last week, but in tablet form. Would be much easier if there were a liquid....:detective:
Anyway, DH is nagging....be back tomorrow for personals :D

Hi everyone!
Long time no post from me - but have been popping in occasionally and catching up on what everyone is up to!
Sounds like everyone is coasting along nicely and enjoying their bubbas.
My bubba is growing so quickly that it almost makes me cry at times! DD2 was 5 months old on Sunday - too quickly!
He is such a happy, docile, self entertaining dream baby really. He's now rolling around everywhere and is starting to make shuffling motions, much to my dismay! He has started on solids, and I am starting to wean him to formula, as I am going back to work this week. He is sleeping from 6:30pm to 6:30am, with a dream feed at 10:30m, which is heaven!
DS1 delights me in many ways everyday! He'll be 2 in July and is turning into such a little boy! He has really started being a little parrot lately and is mimicking ALL of Mummy's words (especially the naughty ones I mutter!)
DF an I are going along well and are getting married on the 5th of November this year, so that has thrown a bit of excitement into our lives! We're not ones to have nothing on the go!
Am hoping to jump on here and have a natter more often! Am jealous of all the interstate Mums having catch ups! Nothing happening like that for VIC Mummies?
Take care all and talk to you again soon.

Cordu K does that some nights. I swear he wakes up just to see me. I'll try to feed him, but he just wants a chat for 20mins or so and then will sleep again... Hopefully he'll sleep better tonight.
Well, over on our side... K has decided to crawl!!! Well...backwards and it's more like doing the worm. I didn't even realise he was doing it. K's been good with sleeping latley. Only up once a night at 3am on the dot. And then will sleep till about 7 or 8am. Goes to bed about 5/6pm. So touch wood he'll continue...
Oh wow I can only dream about Jasie sleeping so long.He went to bed yesterday at 6:30 until 9 then had a night feed at 11:30 and decided this morning the night would be over at 4 :30 as he was so awake after a tiny feed.
Congrats on the worm crawl!!Jasie was trying really hard to crawl yesterday,I can see how eager he is maybe moved 1 cm on his tummy.
What time is it on Thursday?
It is on @ 9:30 as far as I know.
Oh wow , what will you be winning today?Your luck is incredible!!

AnnaC thanks, I'm sure we will enjoy "Babies , books and rhymes" next month.
Jasie loves when I talk in rhymes to him and I just make some up.
I an worried that Jasie has reflux, yesterday he was regurgitating or is it vomiting:confused: after every feed .I had to change him so many times I was already scared after each feed. Do bubs regurgitate more when they are teething?
Today we will be going again to Caterpillars Kids Club which hopefully makes him really, really very tired so he will sleep allnight ;)

Some bubs do regurgitate more I think it has something to do with all the extra saliva - or something like that.

My DS has been prescribed that for his oesaphagus issues only last week, but in tablet form. Would be much easier if there were a liquid....:detective:
Losec unfortunately is tablet form. And from what I have been told it is best to mix it with water to feed rather than milk because of the acidity in the milk. I just dissolve the tablet in a small amount of cooled boiled water then spoon feed it to Isla before breastfeeding her.
Kells- Yes most times losec is prescribed it is in tablet form. When James was prescribed it in NZ it was in capsule form which was much easier. Some pharmacys will make it into a liquid form for you. I used to do what O's Mum does until James would refuse it (apparently its tastes awfully bitter) then i started mixing it with farex and he would take it

Back again, and making the most of the glorious sunshine - washing away getting things ready for the Big Trip. I have actually started packing my stuff, and G's - luckily with all the cousins she has clothes in all sizes for all seasons!
Tomorrow we pick up the tickets and the passports with their chinese visas. DH is muttering about a quick jaunt to other european locations as Ryanair has a great sale - I think he has forgotten about the fact we have a baby! i think it will be a case of so near and yet so far - but we shall see.

MCNmummy glad to hear that your girl will be starting family day care. I am pleased to know you are up there on that beautiful river, and loving your location!
Hello fellow mums :)
Just dropping in to say hi and let you know I am still about the place - just have nothing exciting to add to the thread atm.
DS is fabulous :D like many others he has had a small cold but seems almost over it. No teeth yet, but he is sitting unassisted and has taken to rolling across the room to get to me which is cute :p More needles for us tomorrow and I am hoping that won't be the end of the sleeping through the night routine DS has developed over the past few nights....I love my sleep :yelclap:

hello everyone!!
we are home, had grandads funeral today, and we all survived - including runaway bailey, who im sure was attempting to jump in the big deep hole!!! (i tell ya what - got to keep an eye on this kid!)
i do have to vent though, (apart from the usual *****ing about that side of the family -whichi wont go into) when we got to town on sunday afternoon, we went to mil's (stayed there) and upon arriving she wasnt home, so we let oursleves in (as we do), and dh left me with the kids while he took the pram back to the car and got the cot (he lives in a resort unit - so it is a fair hike from the car park to the unit) so ok i had 3 children in the most child proof of houses (NOT) one on the loo, one screaming casue he wants to be held and one ( not naming names - bailey) going thru grandmas kitchen cupboards and draws, i hear him open a draw and think omg the knife draw - and throw (ok not litrally) hayden on the bed and run over to bailey who, is not into knives (as there were none in there) but instead was into an open bottle of grandmas Methotrexate tablets (they are mostly used on cancer patients) and as far ai i know are not exactly the kind of thing you want your 1 year old snacking on!!!! all i remember was my ear piercing scream and knocking the bottle out of his hand, picking him up and dragging him to the other side of the room, thankfully he didnt eat any! and dh and mil were at the door as i was having my panic attack cleaning up the tablets! - this really ****ed me off, i mean she has her grandkids in that house very often, like i mean at least once a week, and she is 1: keeping dangerous medications in a draw in reach of the kids, and 2: that the ****ing lid wasnt on the bottle properly!!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrr, i am having serious second thoughts on staying there anymore, let alone having her look after my babies in that house ever again!!!!!
Hi All!
Just wanted to drop a quick post and say hi.
Nothing much to report here.. same same.. Still no teeth. Chelsea has been waking up once a night for the past 4 nights.. so so much for my straight through sleep. But once she wakes up at night she will sleep through another 6- 8 hours. So I guess that's still pretty good.
She actually took a 120ml bottle of formula yesterday. It did took her 1.5 hours to take but she finished it overall. Planning to wean her off the boob soon. But will do it really slow and make sure she is taking the formula well. Would probably take 3 months to wean her off the boobs!
Had mother's group today and only half turned up as we have a conflict with one of the girl. So I think from now on Mother's group is sorta over. Will probably just keep meeting up with the other 3 moms. Just the 4 of us get along much better than the bigger group.
Ok - hope all babies will sleep through tonight!

I'm so not coping now... the bad nights, their colds, AJ's tantrums and demands, I feel like I'm gonna lose it soon. I'm just sooo exhausted!
I've asked for a referral to a sleep clinic but my CHN does not think my situation warrants a referral there. She says it's just teething and to expect a few nights of interrupted sleep (but when things are getting frustrating, and it's been 2-3weeks now) I'm getting really down in the dumps.
I just need sleep - and a really good break...
Hope it's not PND... *sobs*

Hey there, have you tried Nurofen or Panadol. If it is teething then nurofen seemed to work better on Jake but just check with dr first. Also if you were to call a sleep clinic and describe your situation they should get you in pretty quick because you have twins. It's not easy. All of my boys have been sick and I think in the past 48 hours I've seen about 4 hours sleep. I'm off to bed now but I will check in tommorrow. PM if you need to talk and I'll give you mobile number to sms.
Good luck and hang in there.
Hi everyone,
I've been popping in and out for a while and I kinda feel a bit lost.
I was actually due in Feb but had the boys 8 weeks early which brings their birthday to December. You all seem like such nice people do you mind if I was to join your thread?
Every dec mum is welcome here
Oh there is one conditon, let us see some photos of your twin boys.:p
Looking forward to chatting with you.
Aw you poor thing, hope you got more sleep last night.
:hugs: to you!

AnnaC buy some Fess. They hate it, but it works wonders. Its a saline solution you squirt up their noses, and it dilutes everything. There is one with a suction bulb - but I didnt like it, theres either drops or a spray. I found the spray worked better cause you only had to get it up their noses once each side, where as the drops its a few drops per nostril. With squirming babies it isnt too easy!!
Andrewsmum, have you been to a daystay for the kids yet? With the sleepschools, I think they do prefer it if you go to a daystay first, and the ladies at the daystay can give you a referal to the sleep school, which is a week long one? Is that the sleep school you are talking about? If its just the day stay you are talking about, I refered myself to that and they were fine with it :) just give them a call.

Hello there, welcome to our thread! ;) Sorry to read that your boys aren't well - must be going around cos mine have colds aswell. Hope you had a better night's sleep last night.
Not much sleep here last night, any ideas how to unblock bubs nose?
AnnaC, I'm using a vapouriser and I've given my babies some Dimetapp to help them sleep - well, it kind of works
Andrewsmum, have you been to a daystay for the kids yet? With the sleepschools, I think they do prefer it if you go to a daystay first
OK, on the sleep situation I've given Karitane a call this morning, they will get back to me shortly. What they recommend was for us to do a half day stay at their cottage where they'll give me ideas etc and observe how I put them to sleep. They want me to do this first and if nothing improves then they'll refer me to a residential stay unit (5 days). So I'm waiting for that SMS notifying me of the date for the half day stay.
Well, I'm feeling much better this morning, as I've had a decent stretch of sleep. Even though I got interrupted 3 times for resettling, my DH did 2 trips and their 4am bottles, so I've slept from 2am till 7am (straight) and so am feeling much better. I feel I can cope with the kids today. Thanks for all your support and hugs...

Angel_one - Was he cold, perhaps he was shivering? Was it his whole body shaking? How long did he shake for? Even though he was asleep, do you know if he rolled his eyes back? I haven't experienced this with my kids before so I don't know for sure but I think perhaps you should phone the doctor NOW and discuss what happened to rule out any medical condition... Hate to scare you but I don't think shaking's a good thing especially in a bub so small. Good luck.

it wasnt a cold shake, - it was a lot longer than one of them - i reckon at least 15 to 30 seconds (again i wasnt watching the clock!- was actually to busy having a panic attack!) , and i dont know about his eyes - he didnt want to open them and show me!!,
and it was his hole body shaking, with quite a bit of force actually - caught me by suprise!

No I havn't heard of that happening either - definately worth getting checked out. Damn 13HEALTH shutting down - you could have called them:(
We went to playgroup today and met up with 3 bubhubbers Cordu who's little man is very handsome and Tea Lady's little one's and Lukaelmo's little men. Ozzy had such a ball and slept all the way home and is asleep still now!

i guess i should take the number of my fridge then hey!!
hey everyone ... i have just been reading lately and wow lots have been going on ... as for the sick bubbies:hugs: to you guys at least Braden hasnt gotten it yet (knock on wood, :fingerscrossed:) i heard fess was a thing for cold, my chn also told me a squirt of breastmilk up their noses will do ... bubs has completely changed routines on me good for nights though as he has been doing 6-8 hour stretches he used to do 3-4 hour but during the day he has been doing up one hour down one hour and has shown major interest in food!! he finished a 240ml bottle this morning and wanted more i kept showing him the empty bottle and telling him no more but he keeps wanting to grab it and see if he could suck some more in and everytime i eat he tries to grab it or is intently looking at the food and what i do with it...
angel_one - :hugs: to you and call your gp immediately as shaking is not good for bubs, sucks that your 13health has shot down , is that like a 24 chn line coz we got one of those here in vic as well hopefully ours havent shut down
andrewsmum - hope you get the sleep sorted out, its very frustrating good for your dh taking some of the responsibilities at night so you can rest

Good luck with the sleep school. We did day stay with DS1 as we were going mad after 6 months with no sleep and it was brilliant. Gave us the confidence to deal with him and really helped us out with DS2 too.
welcome back 2boysforus i was just thinking about you the other day.
hows your DS1s legs now?
Hi Kelly!
He's great now. Took him a while to walk after the body cast came off, but to look at him now, you'd never know it had been broken. he's back to be a tornado again!

... bubs has completely changed routines on me good for nights though as he has been doing 6-8 hour stretches he used to do 3-4 hour but during the day he has been doing up one hour down one hour and has shown major interest in food!! he finished a 240ml bottle this morning and wanted more i kept showing him the empty bottle and telling him no more but he keeps wanting to grab it and see if he could suck some more in and everytime i eat he tries to grab it or is intently looking at the food and what i do with it...
Sounds like your little man is getitng very interested in solids!!
Mine is the same and I have just started introducing them to him. He loves them, grabs the spoon and tries to suck in all the farex he can!
Oh, my DS2 is awake. I'm off.
Just wondering if any of you have started thinking about trying for another bub???
I am in 33 different minds about it!!!
Love,
Renee xox
Ok - hope all babies will sleep through tonight!
Oh I wish, DD is 5 mnths now & has only come close to sleeping through 3 times... If she only woke up 3 times a night I'd be happy, but it can be up to 10 times...
Sounds stupid but I have no clue with PND how long after birth can it develop???? I am clueless:confused:
Most say 12 mnths, but it can be up to 2 years I've heard...

I was actually trying to wait till he's six months but it seems like milk doesnt fill him up anymore so DH and I have decided to start him on solids this weekend ... :fingerscrossed: all goes well ... DH actually told me to give him more milk but i argued that the bottle only goes to 260mls and the formula is in 60ml increments so i can only give him 240mls at a time ... i'm not gonna give him 2 bottles ...
cute photos btw...

Hi all. I am back. There is no way I can catch up on all the news as I am on restricted access while we are living in a hotel and paying for wireless broadband by the hour, but hope all are well!
DS is 6 months now, weighing 8865gms, is 71 cm long and is moving like there is no tomorrow. He will be crawling soon - he already covers most of the flor just by wriggling and squirming and is raising himself up on his toes and fingers and trying to walk forward that way! He is still a happy little soul and loves his big sisters. He is coping with our move to cooler weather - and sleeping in our room again - and has discovered the joys of removing hats and eating them despite the arctic weather. I have tried him on solids but he is very uninterested in them so far so I am not pushing it too much (just more work for me once he likes them!)
And for the clothies out there - I have managed to use exclusively cloth on the drive down and in the hotel so it is going well!
MCNmummy- Thanks for the tip, i got hubby to buy some Fess, unfortunatly he bought the dropper one not the spray, :fingerscrossed: we're in for a bit more sleep tonight
Draught- Good to see you, sounds like everything is going really well
Sammie- Lovely pics
Nanay- I hope the solids go well
Unsure- Wow 10 times in a night thats rough, have you talked to your GP or CHN, that must be really exhausting :hugs:

Sammie - what beautiful pics!
Andrew's Mum - hound them at Karitane til you get a spot. Twins and another child should be grounds enough to get you in without any problems. Good luck with all of that!
Angel one - I do hope that everything is well with your little one.
Well, we are slowly getting it together for our Saturday morning departure. DH is just driving home our friend who will house sit for us, G is asleep and I should be packing but its too late in the night for that I think. We had a busy day, playgroup, my parents came over for lunch, shopping. I actually cooked dinner with a dd who decided she could carry on like a pork chop. She was all sweetness and light after another 45 minute sleep when DH arrived home. I can't wait til we're actually in England and I can stop anticipating the journey. Even bought formula for the Just-in-Case scenarios that have been going through my overactive mind. Aaarghhh, I suppose I should really get ready for bed very soon

Goodluck with the flight!
Well I have HIVES. Oh my i'm so itchy! I'm going to have no skin left on my feet :(
Thanks. How do I post photos on here?
You have to have a website where you post photos and then you just link to them. It is the icon with the world and the link sign is (it is the 11 th menu item counting from left )
You type your http site on there or you just copy and paste it , the part which is highlighted in your post is the link and you write either the title/topic of your photos or something like "Click here".
If you don't have a photoaccount you find a free one on flickr from yahoo or a photobucket account.
I can also recommend Picasa photoalbums from google as you upload the photos directly from the software
Hope this helps and I didn't confuse you.
Any questions about it feel free to ask
Good to hear about the sleep situation. It's the pits when you have very little sleep.
By the way how do you quote numerous posts?
you can do it like you did but a better way is this:
You click on the icon which is beside the on which says quote like you did I assume which has the " image. It will be highlighted in orange/red
You select every post you want to quote and you can see then that the icon is highlighted in orange . At the end you click Reply and then you will see in your post all the posts you have choosen. Under each quote you can posts your answer then.
Hope this helps and doesn't sound to confusing ....:p
Well I have HIVES. Oh my i'm so itchy! I'm going to have no skin left on my feet :(
You poor thing , is there a treatment for it?

Glad you're back with us in cyberland! I"m sending some warm Brisbane vibes your way!
O's mum and Cordu thanks for coming yesterday. It was great to see you and the babies were just lovely! I won't be there next week, but i'll go the week after, but you're more than welcome to go next week if you like. I promise people will talk to you if you go - they're very friendly :)
Well, my Xander has only woken once or twice in the last couple of nights, which is SUCH an improvement - I feel much better.
Unsure, I've nearly cut out caffeine (I should be No-Tea-Lady now!) and I took him to an osteopath because frequent waking can be a symptom of reflux - just thought I'd let you know what has helped in case it might work for you. Being up all night sucks

Well today I am starting another elimination diet to see if I can again try and find what is making Isla's reflux worse than it should be.
I won another comp this morning:p Paris Hilton's book (it was the booby prize -but hey I don't mind I think it could be a bit funny to read it).
Wow all you ladies have such a busy tread! I come and find this one and by the time I read through some of them one of the girls needs me for something and I don't normally get to the end.
How is everyone going? The weather here at my place is driving me crazy, its too cold for me. We had a small frost last week and one yesterday morn i think.
I leave to Darwin in exaclty a week! yay! i'm so excited i get butterflys in my stomach thinking about it.
So whos babies are crawling yet? sitting? Solids? ect?

What a clever little fella you have Cordu:yes:
You have to have a website where you post photos and then you just link to them. It is the icon with the world and the link sign is (it is the 11 th menu item counting from left )
You type your http site on there or you just copy and paste it , the part which is highlighted in your post is the link and you write either the title/topic of your photos or something like "Click here".
If you don't have a photoaccount you find a free one on flickr from yahoo or a photobucket account.
I can also recommend Picasa photoalbums from google as you upload the photos directly from the software
Hope this helps and I didn't confuse you.
Any questions about it feel free to ask
Oh okay well we have an online photo album. I'll update it and send you all the link.
you can do it like you did but a better way is this:
You click on the icon which is beside the on which says quote like you did I assume which has the " image. It will be highlighted in orange/red
You select every post you want to quote and you can see then that the icon is highlighted in orange . At the end you click Reply and then you will see in your post all the posts you have choosen. Under each quote you can posts your answer then.
Hope this helps and doesn't sound to confusing ....:p
I think I did it.:yelclap:
We had a great night last night, yay for Fess (thanks again mcnmummy) James slept from 9.30pm til 5am, then had a feed and back to sleep til 7.45, im a Fess convert
Well no mother group for us today with James' cold, even though hes happy bouncing around and playing i would feel really bad if he gave it to the other babies.
Cordu- lovely video! We just bought a video camera and i took a video of James laughing and playing with a big tigger soft toy, only problem is i dont know how to put it on the TV or computer to watch it

Cool that Fess have worked for you and gave you your sleep back.
Does your videocamera have a memory card ?
You need a card reader then and then you can upload your video onto the PC.
Thanks Anna :)
I just use my digital camera to record the little videos I make. The quality is not too bad I find, was thinking of buying a videocamera ....maybe some time later

Thanks for the comments reguarding the pics of Kevin. I had a look back through all the months of photos yesterday and felt a little sad at how quickly he's growing up.
I'm trying to study for my exam in two weeks but just can't concentrate....
Hi all.
Wow Draught good to hear from you! How long till you find a house?
Your DS sounds like a happy bouncing boy.
Congratulations on sticking with cloth in what must be tricky conditions!
Oh I wish, DD is 5 mnths now & has only come close to sleeping through 3 times... If she only woke up 3 times a night I'd be happy, but it can be up to 10 times...
Hi
I hope you start getting a bit more sleep soon.
Your DD in your av looks like a cutie!
I hope you have a fabulous time in England (and somewhere else?) and that the trip doesn't take too much out of you all.
Thanks and I look forward to chatting. Have you tried Fess. Matthew is always congested and it seems to really help. Because it is just saline, you can use it as often as needed.
How is bubs today?
Welcome Shajake!
Can't wait to see some pics of your two boys :)
Well I have HIVES. Oh my i'm so itchy! I'm going to have no skin left on my feet
Oh no Mel, hives. :hugs:
I know nothing about hives...symptoms? contageous? treatable? how long does it last?
I hope you get better soon.
Well, my Xander has only woken once or twice in the last couple of nights, which is SUCH an improvement - I feel much better.

Glad that he's sleeping better for you both!
Well today I am starting another elimination diet to see if I can again try and find what is making Isla's reflux worse than it should be.

No crawling here. DS can sit up unassisted for 5 elephant seconds max lol.
We'll wait a few weeks till he's 6 months and then attempt solids.
How bout your bub?
I don't think I could handle a 2yo just yet thanks lol.

Do you find Isla's reflux worse when she's a bit under the weather?
I thought Isla was sick the other day but she wasn't - I was wrong. It was actually her reflux itself that was horrible, she never actually got sick afterall.

Do seizures run in your family? How did it go at the Dr's today? WHat did they say about the shaking?
i know my grandma has eplispy (sp??), but my mum has told me that she developed that in adolesance (again sp? - too dam lazy to think sorry!) so although i keep my eyes on my kids, my 10 year old sister is more of a risk right now (also i have been told it skips a generation, so none of my aunties or mum has it, however there was/is a risk of my sisters, myself and my cousins develping it, so far all but one of us are adults (or very close to) and that is the 10 year old! :fingerscrossed: for her!
but in saying that i am still concerned about my kids! arghh, the joys of family medical histories!, between hearts, vision and bloody fits!! what else!!! - oh the we have twins in the family threat too!!! (i say threat cause we only want one more baby!! lol)
anyway, sharjake - how early were your boys? - i keep getting causght up in photos- when i should be studying!!!
Does anyone want a 2 year old girl?? Elora is driving me crazy, she has become very naughty and hard to deal with this last week.
umm, no do you want a needy 1 year old and a little **** of a 4 year old??? (parden my french!)

He is so eager to crawl !!:p
lol, i had hayden (omg 4 attempts at spelling his name then!) on the floor last night and noticed him push up on his arms and get his little knees in the right spot!!, and then today (well just a little while ago!) i put him on the floor against the couch and with a pilliow on the other side (trynig to make him think mummy was still there! - to get him to sleep) and guess where he is now!!, the other side of the room!!! i actually have looked up at him, 3 times and each time he is faccing the opposite direction!
ok big question, should i worry about my 4 year old picking him up??? - she's just on a im a big girl phase and part of that is picking up bub and carring him around, and hugging him, and all that - i know she is just trying to be nice ti him, and i feel awlful when i have a panic attack (or should i say yell at her- to put him down) when i see her holding him!! (poor kid!)
well i must go i hear the call of a 1 year old with a wet butt - and nappy rash to boot! (i am sooooooooooooooo sick of it!, just as it heals its back again!! - i reckon im gonna put him on a very bland diet to see what is causing the problem! - -- argh when i get home next weekend!! lol
well im off
angel_one, I know all the family history **** stuff. Ben and Matthew were 8 weeks early. I know that feeling or getting caught up doing things other than what is really needed. We don't have twins in our family(until now) and we only wanted 2 kids. Our house, car and lifestyle was geared to 2 kids. Oh well, such is life.
so cute
Cordu!

Our boys are very clever !! Good on Rylan , he can sit already and almost crawl !!
I actually can't wait until Jasie is more mobile , although it is sad how the time flies.
It is so cute to watch and the crawling efforts must take lots of energy and provides nice sleep hehe :p

Yeah he is a bundle of energy when he is awake, hardly can keep up with him and he is my best fitness gear as he always wants to bounce on me and be hold up high.I actually think I am his favourable toy
:D
Good luck for your exams!
Wow, there are so many posts here, for months I've been trying to keep up with them-soo hard!!
Unsure- Wow 10 times in a night thats rough, have you talked to your GP or CHN, that must be really exhausting :hugs:
I told CHN when she was waking 3 or so times, and she said "Hope she gets over it soon" I also rang the ABA and they said there's nothing I can do... Will have to see how it goes for another couple of days, then I'll call the CHN.
Well, we are slowly getting it together for our Saturday morning departure. . I can't wait til we're actually in England and I can stop anticipating the journey.
Good luck, I hope it all goes smoothly & you enjoy yourself.
Well I have HIVES. Oh my i'm so itchy! I'm going to have no skin left on my feet :(
That's awful, hope it goes away soon.
Unsure, I've nearly cut out caffeine (I should be No-Tea-Lady now!) and I took him to an osteopath because frequent waking can be a symptom of reflux - just thought I'd let you know what has helped in case it might work for you. Being up all night sucks
I have wondered if it is reflux, I don't drink much tea, but I have been having milo lately - I didn't realize there was caffeine it...guess i didn't want to know!!
So whos babies are crawling yet? sitting? Solids? ect?
None of the above yet, although we are getting closer to sitting.
i know my grandma has eplispy (sp??), but my mum has told me that she developed that in adolesance (again sp? - too dam lazy to think sorry!) so although i keep my eyes on my kids, my 10 year old sister is more of a risk right now (also i have been told it skips a generation, so none of my aunties or mum has it, however there was/is a risk of my sisters, myself and my cousins develping it, so far all but one of us are adults (or very close to) and that is the 10 year old! :fingerscrossed: for her!

How bout your bub?
I don't think I could handle a 2yo just yet thanks lol.
I'm originally from Darwin and my partner is there for work at the moment so i have not seen him in 5 weeks, so me and the girls are heading up for a holiday. I have not been back since we moved here nearly 2 years ago. I'm very excited! and my best friend lives there with her 2 girls too.
Natalia is pretty much crawling, it's sort of an odd crawl though, she has been doing it for about 4 weeks. She is already on solids as recomended by my GP, she nevr slept and was always hungry so se was on rise ceral for a few weeks and now she has just started some vegies. She can;t sit much for more than a second or 2.
My 2 year old has been no fun. she miss her daddy so much. She wakes up in the night sometimes till and crys because she misses him, its so sad :crying: .
Hey could everyone tell me where they are from?
Caitlin: Im in Sydney on the north shore.

So whos babies are crawling yet? sitting? Solids? ect? Andrews mum do you know if the chemist is open at wattle grove shops yet? How are all you boys going? Does anyone want a 2 year old girl?? Elora is driving me crazy, she has become very naughty and hard to deal with this last week.
Hey Caitlin, neither of my babies are sitting or crawling - they are big roly polies though, they roll to wherever they want LOL. Solids, I've started it only three times in the past week with rice cereal, and umm it's not going too well! LOL... they get sooo excited when they see the spoon coming towards them then once the food's in their mouths they pull a face!! Then they swish it around on their tongue for about 30secs and eventually spit it out! I think they want it but don't know how to swallow it yet...
A couple of days ago they were installing the shelves in the chemist but I don't think it's open yet, hopefully it's soon LOL!!!
Damn, it's too cold here in the mornings. Poor you and Elora, waking up in the nights... Hope it gets better for you, I applaud all the mums doing it alone around here :yelclap:
Last night we had a great night!! I haven't had such a good night for ages... I only got up twice - once for Andrew (he's not well and wanted a glass of water) and once for the twins (bottle) so I felt great today!!
So great I actually went to the expo today!! Late this arvo though!! it wasn't as crowded as I expected as I were still able to navigate my twin pram around LOL... Sorry we missed you Kim. Got loads of freebies and umm, I hate to say but we got loads of attention because of the twins that some of them gave us their showbags for free... Some organic food and even got an entire packet of BabyLove nappies wow. I wanted to buy some grobags but I thought the Living Textiles sleeping bags were way cheaper at 50% off so went back to buy them but their EFTPOS was down :(
Take care you all, have a great weekend!
Kylie
Kylie, we were prob there at the same time!! We were there from 1130-430 YES A LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG day.

Ooh I am going out for dinner tonight to celebrate my birthday (but that's not today) - we hardly ever go out so I am really looking forward to it. DH was trying to get everyone to put in some money to buy me a snap machine:smiliedance: as the pressie.
This is completely irrelevant to anything but here's the story the other week we were in K-mart and our local one has a clearance trolley and on there was a mobile phone right and it was a Sagem which I have seen advertised everywhere for $65 I think. I managed to buy it for $22 I think it was brand new. I didn't need a phone but I thought I would put it on ebay to sell in the hope I could make say $10 - $20 profit on it. Well it still has a couple of hours left on it but it's up to $121  Now the phone isn't even worth that - and I kind of feel bad if the person actually goes through with the sale because they could buy 2 for that price almost. Would you feel guilty selling it for that price or am I being silly?
James is on solids twice a day, breakfast and dinner and loving it. He can sit by himself for a long time but still topples over occasionally. I think hes nearly crawling, pushes up on his hands and knees but mainly just rolls everywhere.
O's Mum- Well done on the phone, no point feeling guilty as it was their choice to bid it up to that, must be a continuation of your winnig streak!

Would you feel guilty selling it for that price or am I being silly?
Oh wow, that's excellent, good on you!! Hope it goes up even higher!! Glad I'm not the person who is bidding for it :D .
Let us know how much it sell for at the end, I'm curious!!
Have fun tonight and enjoy your birthday dinner.

Hi everyone, thanks for the replys. As you probably noticed on my last post I tried to do a "quote" but it did not work. I must be doing something wrong.
I love seeing what everyones babies are up too, there are so many different stages and they all do it s differently.
I went to the expo today with the girls and my mum. It was great. Free tickets make it even better. I went last year but was pregnant and sick to care too much.
I got soo many freebies! The pram nealry tipped over. I got 1 packet of free nappies from baby love too "andrews mum" How cool!
I also got a few free teething rings and 2 bottles from MAM, they go for like $9 each in target! i was impressed. I have more toddler formular and sipper cups than i can poke stick at! I love freebies! I haave such a big pile to give to my friend in Darwin and our Neighbour.
Angel_Zara, Where is the north shore? My mum lives over near chatswood in my nan and pops house looking after them i like it out there. Its so different from out my way.

We went out last night!!! First time in a couple of years that weve been without kids. Nothing major, the highschool had a play on. Was fairly sceptical (sp?) but it was brilliant!!! Left home at 6.30, got back at 10. Lachy fed right before we left, and woke up about half an hour after we got home, and soph went to bed at 7.30, and didnt peep at all!!!

Yep thats where I live! 5mins away from chatswood. I love it! The new place we r still bidding on is in the same area too. Do u visit ur mum over here alot or does she go to u?
I go and see my Mum, Nan and Pop in Naremburn every week or 2. I don't drive there my self much. Normally I go on the weekend with my Partner so he can drive.
I also like to get much to look after Elora and go shopping at chatswood. It's a pretty good shopping centre and i like all the chinese shops in the Street. Its turning in to a mini china town.
I have got to get used to driving there alone so I am going to start driving over sometimes on a weekday.
Only 5 more sleeps tll I get to see my partner!! Valentine and my best friend and her daughters.:smiliedance:

Evening All
Hope you had a wonderful week-end.
Sam was invited to a 2 year old's birthday party - which he slept through. See Sam sleeping (http://s60.photobucket.com/albums/h40/nic71/My%20Little%20Man/?action=view¤t=121_1530.jpg). 'Cuse the cleavage in the shot - DH took the photo. A friend has given me a baby sling to use and Sam promptly fell asleep in it. It's soooo much quicker to throw on than the hug-a-bub - not as comfy though. But will suit when I have to just duck into the shops or do the school pick up.
It seems like we have lots of babies on the move now. Sam rolls everywhere! It's funny to watch - he gets around the entire room - the poor dog has to get out of his way now.
No sign of any teeth yet - but he does seem to be getting back into the night sleeping habit! Thank goodness.
Is there still a meet at Southbank on Friday? Or was it last week? I can't do this Friday - my parents have just told me they will be in town that day and want a place to stay - so I better not disappoint. lol
Hope everyone has a good week.

He's sooo cute and peaceful - he's actually comfortable in there LOL!!
I agree with the teething and sleeping comment - last night my babies only got up once!! At 5am for their bottles. I feel quite normal now!! Hopefully this continues for a few more nights yet!! :smiliedance:
Anyone know how to wear a baby out? Kyan is just soooo full of energy atm... He's powering around the house and is refusing a bottle or even to lay down...
I'm sooooo tired. He's only slept about an hour today as well...
Sounds very familiar, it took me 3 hours today to get him to sleep :banghead:
He was so full of energy and screamed the house down when we wanted to put him to bed!
He just got a midnight snack and I hope he sleeps through like he has done last night
Hope all mums and bubs have a good night!!
As far as I know it's on this Friday. I'm down in Brisbane now (got here today, what a long drive it was) and will be down here till Monday next week. I'd still love to see whoever wanted/can come if you still want to...
Yeah it will be on , lets discuss the details via pms

I hope you managed to Kyan to sleep. But for future reference, i find putting James in his tigger bouncer or walker tires him out pretty fast. And if hes gets over tired i just feed him to sleep.

I know how you feel, Braden does that most days, he is full of energy that i just let him roll around the house ... when he gets tired or its been two hours since his last sleep i would tell him its nap time and give him his dummy and rock him to sleep ... this usually works for us but sometimes he will fight it for what seems like forever but eventually he gives in.
We went to a friends house this weekend for dinner and a rugby match to watch Braden was so full of energy and my friend couldnt get enough of him. i think the only time i got to hold him again was during a feed and when i put him to sleep. I dont know if your babies are doing this but Braden is very curious about everything, he wont sleep or will keep fighting it when we have visitors or at some else's house, i think he thinks he will miss out on something if he nods off ... he will only sleep if he cant keep his eyes open anymore and only for 30minutes if that.
Oh yeah, he has taken to doing fake coughs ... at first i thought it was cute but dh said that he might not be faking it might be something else like asthma or something, but it sounds so much like a fake forced cough ... is anyone else's baby doing this?

morning girls!
im back from my trip to inverell, we spent a week there looking for our new house to rent. we found one, after many of them were too small for me be in a room with a double bed and a cot but finally we found one! and its rather nice actually!
eli was an angel for the first 8 hour trip to inverell he entertained us with his talking and giggling and waving his hands about constantly he slept in hour intervals so all in all i was pleased with his behaviour!
on the way home was a different story! for the first 3-4 hours he cried and winged and tried to get out of his seat (buckels got a work out lol) in the end he gave in and slept for 2 hours waking for the last bit, and was rather settled, just that first 4 hours of hell lol.
as of next week my family are going on the csiro diet, im about to make - over my entire body before paul gets home, im so unhappy with the way i look these days that its time for a drastic change! Eli and i will start walking 3-4 times a week together, and when i get to inverell ill join Curves the womens gym.
i have 4 months to loose as much weight as i possibly can! an indication of this diet! my mum lost 8 kg in the first week!!! (bear in mind she is a big woman) so thats all my news for now ill update again tomorrow as im so worn out from trying to put eli to sleep
xx
Nanay- My DS was doing the coughing thing, apparently it can be a sign of teething. Found this on a symptoms of teething website
Coughing: The extra saliva can cause your baby to occasionally cough or gag. This is usually nothing to worry about as long as your baby seems fine and shows no signs of a cold or flu and does not run a high fever.
Ofcourse it could be something else but thought you might be interested in that anyway

Sam has been fake coughing for a little while - I too thought it was cute at first - not now though. lol
Courtney - good luck with the new diet, let us know how you go!
I mentioned yesterday that Sam is getting back into the sleeping habit - spoke too soon. Decided that he'd wake 5 times last night. So now he's exhausted today, he had a cat nap this morning and has just done down for his afternoon nap now - hopefully it will be a good one. We've got into a routine with sleep time, as in we cuddle on the rocking chair for a little bit before going in the cot - it sort of settles him, then I massage his legs/back when he's in the cot and he just lays so still ... the eyes slowly close and he drifts off. Sometimes this takes 10 minutes, sometimes 20 - but he's not screaming now when I put him in the cot, it's like he knows it's nap time.
Hope everyone else is doing well .......
Fake coughing - yes my Chelsea does is too. My hubby is also concern thinking she might be choking or getting a cold. I think she just like the sound she makes when she does it.
Had such a horrible night. It started out well that I was able to put her to sleep within 20 mins and she was asleep by 7.30pm (We are trying to put her to sleep early nowadays instead of 10pm). Then she woke up at 1am, gave her breast feed, after 30 mins she was asleep but as soon as I put her down on her cot she woke up! So anyway this kept going for 3 hours!!! She wasn't on the boob most of that time, Just holding her and patting her back to sleep. Even changed her nappy but she just didn't want me to put her down, maybe her bed was getting cold by the time I put her down. Anyway at last she let me put her down at 4am!! OMG! 3 hours of lost sleep!!!
She's been waking up once a night now since getting her needles done which was over a week ago. I just want her to sleep straight through again!!
Raven - Goodluck with the diet. Hope everything goes to plan.
Anyone dieting yet to get back to their pre-pregnant weight? I'm breastfeeding still so no diet for me but I do just watch what I eat. I put on 15 kilo's when I was pregnant and so far I've lost 16.5 kilo's. Must be the breastfeeding and the demanding Chelsea.

Hi everyone, just thought i would drop in.
I have uni exams next week and am so tired I dont know what to do with myself. DH also has exams so that makes it even harder.
Lauren is a real mummy girl and doesnt like anyone else to settle her so I dont have time to study or do assignments.
PND is making everything even worse because my medication isnt yet working properly. I keep telling the dr but she doesnt really listen.......its really annoying me. Mum says i need the same dose i had when i had PND with DS. That way I might be able to sleep at night and not lie awake until 3am.
Lauren is still small at just over 5kg at 6 months. It really hit home how small she was when my bestie and my SIL had babies this week. Besties bubba was 4.09kg which is exactly 1kg less than Lauren and considering the age diff of 6 months thats scarey. SIL's was 3.9kg.........................so I have a petite princess.
Brodie is doing well since getting grommets. He now has the language skills of a 3 year old and can sing the entire twinkle twinkle song and practically in tune!!!
Here is an updated photo of my cherubs.....Lauren looks bigger in this than what she is and she isnt sitting up by herself lol I have my hand behind her, they just used technology to wipe it out!!!!:D

hi there everyone
chelsea is a small baby aswell she is 5 and a half months and she weighs just over 6kgs it worries me especially when people comment all the time how small she is and is she premmature so yeah i get her weighted every 2 weeks at a chemist to make sure she keeps on putting on weight and we have also started her on solids to help her put on some weight also
but she is also teething so that also dosnt help with her eating and drinking as sometimes she dosnt want any
but hang in their its good in a way to have a petite baby at least u get more use of their clothes and yeah chelsea is pretty small compared to other babies aswell.
ps: saby your chelsea was also born on my birthday too wat a coincedence heehhehe
take care
Sabby - I'm still BF too, and I am back to less than I was when I fell pregnant (not that I can tell!!).
Clarebear - Did your GP recommend you take sleeping tablets till your meds kick in?? They are supposed to be safe even if you are BF. Temazepam was recommended to me... DD is pretty small too, not quite 5kg at her 5 month check, not too sure what she is at the moment, she's growing though so that's the main thing.
DD still has a cold and isn't sleeping well... All the BF Mummies out there - do your babies bite and if so - how do you get them to stop?? DD doesn't have any teeth (thankfully!!), but she keeps biting me - it hurts!!
Hope all are well...

Isla weighs that too but she was fullterm:yes:
All the BF Mummies out there - do your babies bite and if so - how do you get them to stop??
Slip your pinky finger into the corner of their mouth and unattach them and say 'no' not that they really understand it at this age, but then attach them again. They eventually get the idea that biting is not acceptable. Another thing though when you feel the sucking stop and they kinda roll your nipple around in their mouth - that is when they bite, so just unattach before that happens.
Oh yeah, he has taken to doing fake coughs ...
Putting up my hand here - Isla is another fake cougher - she does it to get ppl to look at her:p
Anyone dieting yet to get back to their pre-pregnant weight?
Nope just exercising here. I think it is a much better option then restricting food intake - then again I don't go gorge myself on chips and lollies etc. Just eat healthy and add a bit of exercise and the weight will fall off. I lost after I had Ozzy over 40kgs and I swear it was mainly due to exercise.
re diet; i was such a good weight b4 i got pregs and am still 12kgs over that! i have started a diet today. im still breastfeeding soim being sensible about it. and im doing carmen's fit to strip every day...yay!
zaras weight is very average she is 7kgs at 6months.

I'm doing that as well... I love it. Everything is slowly toning up...
I use my eye toy as well, really gets me moving and K thinks it's great to watch.
Huh?? What's Carmen's fit to strip, and eye toys?? Can you direct me to their website??
I am thinking it's time for me to diet, I don't have much to lose - maybe 5-7kg but I absolutely hate my muffin top on my tummy so need to work my tummy muscles, LOL!!! I have started doing Jazzercise again though, so perhaps it's a start!!
My babies still don't like taking their solids. I give them rice cereal, they get all excited when they see the spoon coming and they'll open their mouths. But once the cereal's in their mouth, they'll pull a face, swish the food around their mouths and then eventually (about 15-20 seconds later) they spit that out. Any ideas or suggestions to get them to swallow or is this all part of the learning process?? I didn't have this problem with Andrew at all. It's now been two weeks and they still don't swallow it!!
Carmen Elektra's Fit to strip dvd's!
IMO Get No. 2 as I have no. 1 as well and its not as much a workout dvd as actual stripping routines.... I dont have 3 or 4.
I got mine about 2years ago in HMV for $14.95. You can put togetehr ur own workout or do the 30min overall body one. ITS A KILLER, your body aches afterward!
Im so glad to hear im not the only one who likes it Superstar and Oscar's! It really is the best exercise dvd ive used!

Carmen's dvd's are available everywhere nowdays - I saw them in Target the other day. I bought mine as a box set with all the dvd's for $50 from JB Hi Fi - it is worth everycent I paid for it:thumbsup:
With the solids - I would wait a week and then try again.
Im so glad to hear im not the only one who likes it Superstar and Oscar's! It really is the best exercise dvd ive used!
Nope you are not the only one:o
Hi all. DS also is very uninterested in solids. He is still breastfed and I have tried rice cereal a couple of times now and some apple puree and he just pulls a face and spits it out. So I will wait another week or so and try again.
I am not dieting - am eating lots of chocolate and cake while stressing out in the hotel - so need to start some exercise too. Will get around to it one day. I hope!

hey oscars mum do they say anythin to you about your child bein under weight
last time we weighted chelsea which was last wednesday she was 6kgs and 12ggrams and they were abit concerned and said to keep comming back to get her weighed
chelsea was full time bub aswell she was/is just very small i guess compared to most bubs but iam glad to see taht shes not the only small baby around i was beggining to think she was lol
i started chelsea on solids nearly two weeks now to help her put on some weight and cause she wasnt sleeping right through
and at first she hated the farex wouldnt have a bar of it then i had to mix it really reallly well with something then she started to have it then and she has
pureed aple or custard for lunch and some vegies for dinner
some nite/days she has more then others depends on her moods.

hey oscars mum do they say anythin to you about your child bein under weight
They were concerned as she was born at 9lb 5.5oz which isn't really that small. She isn't really gaining weight because of her reflux though. But the only thing we are doing is just demand feeding her day and night and dream feeding once a night. Oh, and she is on reflux meds.
kazandsteve
04-06-2007, 20:55
oic thats no good
cause with chelsea she was born small she was just born 6 pounds 4, so yeah
but that is abit of a worry when he is loosin weight- they think its because of the reflux??????????
hope she gets better soon, isla is such a pretty name
do they recommend anything else that you can do, did they recommend solids aswell, but with her having reflux it might not help either
poor little thing
its abit of a worry hey when our babies arnt well and are sad its sooo sad
