anyone else have this probem?

I have used the fortel brand of pregnancy test several times. I think nearly every time i have bought a 2 packet....one has been a dud....i mean i didn't get a pregnancy line, or a control line, the whole thing was blank.

So i sent them an email, and they sent me 2 replacement tests, i just took them....AND THEY'RE BOTH DUDS!!!

Am i the only one having problems with this brand? I've only ever had 1 dud from a different brand of pt.

Hmmm I'd email them again & then buy a different breand!!!!

I just bought a 2 pack of the fortel brand yesterday and used one and it came up with just the control line(negative).Gee I hope there not duds!What batch number is on the side of the pack? and I can tell you the batch number on my pack.

I'm not sure, i threw them away! Anyway, the ones i just took were the replacements for the last 2 that didn't work...so they just sent the tests without the box iykwim....in the little sachet thingos.

Whenever i've got a dud from fortel, it's come up with nothing at all, not even the control line...that's how i know it's a dud.

I had problems with the Fortel ovulation test when we were trying to fall pregnant. I must have been through several packets with absolutely nothing but the test line, and then I found out I was pregnant anyway :D

Because I had been on the pill for three years prior to that I just thought my body was taking its time getting 'back into the swing', but I guess not.

Good thing we kept trying even though the ovulation tests were 'negative';)

You guys would laugh at the first home pregnancy test i took LOL. I'm so glad technology has advanced LOL

I think Fortel are rubbish!

But i think Crystal Clear are good,

But as with anything there are faults but Fortel just have too many!!!

Hi everyone, im 4 days late for AF and im never ever late as im on the pill, but what i was writing for is that ive used the fortel test today and 2 days ago and them came back negative.:confused: if this is the case not sure why im late. Has this happened to anyone else or are the problems you have experienced with fortel the same as uptheduff with no lines appearing at all? sorry to hijack this thread if its not the right place pls let me know Thanx :)

I used many of tests when i was late and it didnt really show up for a while like mayee when i was 2 weeks late i would wait about 1 week and try agian.

Nope, you're not the only one. I have had exactly the same problem where one of the 2 has been a dud. I didn't even think of contacting them, I just went and bought another brand (pregnosis). I wouldn't bother with fortel again.:thumbsdown:

I used Fortel and didnt think much of it at the time but when I first suspected I was pregnant I tried a pregnancy test and it came up negitive, I would have been about 3/4 weeks late. I didnt test again until 6 weeks and it came up positive.

I guess it could have been a faulty test the first time or maybe just that I wasnt too far along in the pregnancy??

Oh well, next time I will try something different just in case. :)
