Caravan parks

Hi

Was just wondering if anyone knew of any nice clean caravan parks,either on the Sunshine or Gold Coast?
My inlaws have said that we can use their caravan so we are going too but we haven't stayed in any caravan parks before so need a little bit of help choosing one.

There's a really nice one at Dicky Beach on the Sunshine Coast. It backs onto the beach and is across the road from a park, skate bowl and shops. It's also right near the surf life saving club, and they have some really nice meals there at really good prices.

The caravan park also has a pool, and their public toilets are cleaned out twice a day (or they used to be, anyway)

Oh, and there's public transport about a minutes walk away if you need to use it.

If you would like more details about it, I can get them for you quite easily, as hubby works right across the road from it.

Ashmore Palms is a fantastic caravan park, but I'm not sure if they have short term sites. It has the best swimming pools for kids.

It'd be worth giving them a ring, or there is also treasure island caravan park (this is just across the road from Harbour Town).

Worth a phone call IMO, I've stayed at both and was very happy.
