DD had her 6 week Ped check up last night.
I had to waite an hour with a hungry baby in a boring waiting room then was in and out and charged $100:banghead:

But Pearl is doing great. I just don't remember right now what all the mesurments are as brain is on holidays at the moment:p

Can I ask why you saw a pediatrition instead of your GP?? That's a lot of money for something a GP or ECHN could have done.

Good question. I'm not sure I HAD to see her. But the hospital EXPECTS you to see the Ob/gyn and the ped for a 6 week check up after the birth.

I do get most of that money back, it's just pretty rude being charged that much for nothing.

Okay, fair enough. Was just wodnering as I thought it would be a lot of hassle having to see your GP to get a referral to the pediatrition etc.

Our 6/8wk checkups are just done with our GP's. Funny how it's all different.

Natalya is still small for her age but we are catching up she is just over 3 months old now and she is 10lb 0.5oz :D not sure of her other measurements (she is still in mostly 0000's) at least i am getting good wear out of them.

I was really excited the other day when i weighed her to find she had gone into double digits (sad i know but when you have a prem baby these things are a real milestone ):smiliedance:
