Hi Guys!

I just need your advice on 2 things for our engagement invitations, as DF, my family & BF are all away atm!
Anyone that knows me wouldnt think it's too weird as Im photo obsessed, but I want to have a little black & white photo on top of my silver & whit invites.
Have you ever had a invite with a photo on it?? DF isnt to keen, but I think it looks beautiful!
Does it seem full of myself?

Second thing, do you put your parents names on the invite? Atm Ive got 'together with their parents'. We're having over 100 people come so it's not like a simple BBQ or anything so Im stressing abit!

Please Help!!!

Unless your parents or his parents are paying for the whole thing you wouldn't invite on behalf of your parents. If you are all sharing the costs it would be from you together with your parents. If you are paying for it alone the invite comes from you.... if you get the drift.

I've seen plenty of invites with photos on them. Sounds ok but it should be something that you both like.....

Well we are having it at DF's parents and my parents are also putting in, so I guess it's ok with that wording then.
DF hasn't seen it yet, just dodge on the idea, so Im counting on him loving it when he sees it!

I think the invites sound lovely with the photo and the wording is perfectly appropriate. We had a small engagement (35 guests at a restaurant) and I made each guest a personlised invite with a photo of them with either my husband or myself to show why we invited them and our history with them. It was time consuming but everyone loved them.

Wow, that would have been beautiful. Wish I could have done that. But DF isnt exactly one to have had photos with everyone!
