Ok, now I know that the BBB's are notorious for taking ages to dry, but I am going mad. I am doing the whole wash 3 times before use thing and the waiting in between washes is killing me!

I washed a load on friday morning first thing, put them through a cycle of the dryer, then hung them on a drying rack. After a bit of time in the sun today they were only just dry... Then back in the wash to start over again!

How long would they take if I just air dried them (bearing in mind the rainy weather?) I do have a condenser drier so it does work differently to the regular ones, so that prob has an impact, but I really dont want to use the drier at all.

I am buying 2 extras so i will have 6 in total (as night nappies), my reasoning is wash every second day, and 3 days to dry just in case... how tragic. but they are soooooo soft!

Sorry about the long post, Cherry

BTW- I was at a baby and kids market this morning and a rep for BB and another girl from a online store from Cotton Bottoms were there selling MCN's, they generated a lot of interest. I also got some bamboo flats and didnt have to wait for postage, woohoo!

You don't need to dry the BBB between the initial 3 washes; sorry to be the bearer of bad news!!

Oh dear, that's not going to be music to your ears now that you've gone through all that!!

I totally hear you though. I have 3 BBBs, two in cloth and they take 3 days to dry atm :banghead: And no dryer!
The sun comes out... I put them out. Looks like rain, bring them in. back out. In. Out.

I want it to rain- so bl00dy RAIN!! Don't just pretend to! :banghead:

I guess I am lucky to be living in queensland, I find they usually dry within a day on a sunny day, and on a rainy day around 24hrs to dry on the rack.

I used to hate summer with a passion... and was all for rugging up through winter.

3 days here atm.. :gloomy:

But, in saying that, it is quicker to dry a BBB than it is a cute tooshies bamboo valour omg, they take forever and ever.. (not that I mind, eek factor..)..

I just so love my pockets atm, I think its best, pockets for winter, fitteds for summer for me..

I dried my BBB also between the prewashes, didnt realise, or think about just washing again once wet.. :o

Great news about not having to dry them, I just assumed.... Wish I had known that on Frida, he could have been a bamboo butt by now!

OK, so I guess I might have to move to sunny QLD if I want to have nappies dry quickly! I hate hot weather (actually the sun gives me the irrits, I hate being all squinty!) so I think I will have to stop whingeing about drying time and get used to it. I love winter! Especially all my winter clothes.... shame they don't fit anymore post-baby!

Thanks girls, Cherry. Will wash them again tomorrow and party time! Will let you know how Oli's bum enjoys them soon!
