I was just wondering what the best application method is for lanolising wool covers?? Is the spray stuff effective enough or is it best to go for a soaking method?
Has anyone got a favourite - who's a good online supplier?

I think that the sprays a great for a top-up, but if it hasn't been lanolised before I'd def. go for an overnight soak in Lasinoh disolved in hot water then allowed to cool right down (or added to cold water, as long as the water is tepid when the wool goes in). Squeeze every now and then, get the lanolin off the sides etc.
But after doing this method for a while, I really want to get some liquid lanolin- it looks like it would dissolve so much better
Apparently the liquid lanolin at Sustainable Hemp Products lasts and lasts

Thanks pookiesossige!
I prefer to use liquid lanolin. I also use organic wool wash for washing (it has added lanolin)

i finally got my Lanisoh and ready to do my BB wool cover. how much Lanisoh in how much water?? Thanks!

Hijacking!!
I lanolised my longies last night in lansinoh....dissolved in hot water, then i added some cold water.
Well the lanolin seemed to solidify slightly once the cold was added, and the longies definitely don't ahve that "greasy" feeling that i figure they should- am almost certian they will leak.
Did I do something wrong?
Thanks:)
