I am all VERY new at this (bub hub), as you probably saw, i think i posted the thread twice!! hehe.
My DH and i moved up here in Aug last year from Swan Hill, VIC, and because i was 3 months preg at the time i never gained employment, as no-one wanted a preg chick!! Therefore i never met alot of people, especially not in my situation. The only friends i really have are my DH's workmates girlfriends/wives and none have babies! My DH is a miner and works away most of the time, so i would really love to meet other mum and get out a bit more, if you know what i mean. -Nic

Mine left today to go back to work... Back next Saturday. I understand being lonely it can certainly get that way!

Moving here from VIC must have been a bit of a shock weather wise hey? Hehehe... Cannot believe how hot it has been today! Very strange!

Really? Ha. My hubby is a boily, he left last monday morning and was due back tonight....but he rang at lunch time and said he won't be back home til tuesday night now... :(
I feel for him more, as Mia is only 12 weeks old and i know how much he misses us! I'm lucky as my folks have since moved up here as well!
Yeah well jan/feb weather i didn't think was that bad, considering that's supposed to be the hottest months up here and i was 8-9 months preg! Just lucky i think.

We sold our old place in Andergrove at Christmas, and bought our new house at Bucasia in the estate out here. We love it :)

I think I am used to the weather too now, either that or it isn't as hot as it used to be hehe ;)

Sorry your hubby won't be home tonight :( I hate that... :hugs: you look forward to it so much that it is a HUGE letdown when they are later than expected. It is very hard for them being away from their girls... It gets harder and harder as they get older too, because they start to recognize them as 'daddy'. Rhianna gets so excited to see him now when he gets home- it just breaks his heart to leave.

But hey, you gotta do what you gotta do... its not something we plan to do forever.
