 They have many layers of hemp which is why. If you have a heavy wetter they are worth it I would imagine.

The Heavy Wetter GNST is definetley more absorbant then the bamboo velour VBSN (the ones I got from Blue Lake, the snap-in insert is velour-topped bamboo french terry). But that's with the GNST's many, many layers snapped in.. It ends up being pretty huge, but it works for Ronan- the one nappy all night, unheard of here!
I love the VBSN for Ariene though- trim and effective, narrow through crotch and of course I love the velour (not really a fan of hemp fitteds). She is a fairly heavy wetter and does need a little bit of extra boosting for night with the VBSN, but nothing like her brother...
Sorry about the essay! :ecomcity:

They are TOTALLY worth it if you've struggled with other night nappies. If a Dreamytime, VBSN or BBB worked for us with Ronan, then we would have just stuck with them
The GNST (with all snap-in boosters) took 3 days to dry... it's FINALLY on him again tonight! I wish I could get more to tide us over but yeah, very costly...

They are, but one nappy lasts all night so it does the job of two or three! if you look at it that way then IMO it's worth the cost...
Also the only difference between 'light-medium-heavy wetter' versions of GNSTs is they give you extra boosters to go with them, so if you already have your own boosters you can just stick to the 'light wetter' version and boost it yourself, that's what I do.
will keep that in mind incase the BBB's dont work anymore, at the moment they are lasting all night for us.
