Do you think that BDing every 2nd day as soon as AF finishes would increase chances of conceiving, or stick to the fertile period?? Both times I have fallen pregnant has been after a BDathon, LOL! That must be the trick for us. Seems like it hardly happens once a week these days, let alone having a BDathon, but I'll have to see what I can do  . I'm sure hubby won't mind :yelclap:

I read once every 3 days was good. If it's too often the guy doesn't have time to make more sperm. but hey, if it worked last time, why not! :smiliedance:

I heard that every 2 days does the trick. It takes 24hr for the sperm to be produced.

Maybe your DH's sperm is faster at being produced.

But go for the BDathon - if it worked previously it may work again.

ENJOY AND LET THE STICKY FERTILITY DUST STICK EVERYWHERE:wizard: :smiliedance: :yelclap:

i reckon BD'ing every day puts too much pressure on both of u and ruins the fun..and spontaneity
maybe im frigid!
hahaha!

i just dont want to do it everyday! and i dont think its necessary to do it everyday - sperm can last quite a long time anyway - alternate days should be enough

Every second day did the trick for us.

Trying to pinpoint our fertile times was rather difficult.

What worked for us twice, was actually BDing everyday from AF end till ovulation was confirmed by 4 days of high temps
GOODLUCK :fingerscrossed:

We tried to conceive for about a year before we got our BFP and we tried the every 2nd day thing for a few of those months. Once I got used to my cycle I knew I was ovulating on day 13-16 each month. So we started bd on around day 12 and kepy going til we got a positive OPK and a temp rise to confirm O. It worked in the end  Fertility Friend was such a huge help!

Best of luck with your BFP :fingerscrossed:

Hey Livy - im starting to use fertility friend this month - i also ovulate around 14-17 each month - so did u stop bd'ing after the temp rise or before? im a bit confused about when to try according to the chart - will the chart suggest a good time?

YAY :yelclap: Congrats bronny-jane! It's always the way, happens when you least expect it but cause we're trying so hard i'm never not expecting it, if that makes sense. Everyone says 'dont think about it and it will happen' but how do you not think about it?? I should know, cause we tried for over a year to conceive my DD and then I think I gave up and WHAMO, it happened. Very challenging!

Hi,
Keep bd'ing til you get a definite temp rise (I think we waited til we had at least 2 high temps) I would recommend using opk's though too - I started using them around cd12 til I got a +. Fertlility Friend will guess your potentially fertile days based on any previous cycles you have had. I reckon the change in your cm to egg white is the best way to tell O is coming up too. I bought a bulk pack of opk's online from Lullaby Conceptions, as they are heaps cheaper that way. Good luck with it all
