Hey Guys

SHM - Sorry haven't had a chance to catch up either and this week is a total wipe out with my bro and his gf staying here, then mum and dad, and then my other brother, so from tomorrow onwards there will be peoples in my house! lol Glad to here the BG is going well, i totally love them for a pocket nappy. I haven't had any dramas with the GK's either, they are just bulkier but very absorbant and work well. But i am totally partial to the BG's. And bummer missing out on the bubba cuddles but just being around them is so nice. Also love the monkey torch i could just picture L having a ball with that! What a great idea! PMSL!

Oh and have to share our plans for the weekend seeing as it's my birthday :) We are going out to dinner on friday to the Breakfast creek wharf which shall be nice, then DH and i are going to the movies or something or other on the Saturday, then on the Sunday we'll be heading up the coast for a BBQ lunch for my dad's birthday. In between i have to find time to finish 2 assignments and keep up with my uni workload! lol

Also Milo is doing much better, seems to be settling in and being less of a pain! The lady from the Brain Injury service came today and she was lovely so we shall hopefully get some respite for DH so he can do other things and not bug me for a bit!

Bexta - your little boy in your av is just so gorgeous, what kind of age gap are you hoping for?

CCL - Bugger everyone else i say and just get down to it! lol. How funny that in 8 years the first time you have had unprotected s.e.x how funny! That would have been strange! lol Everyone else can just deal with it that you are having a baby. lol Let us know how you go ;)

Bring on September i say and then it's not too much longer after that! YAY!! :smiliedance:

Have fun everyone, if i'm not on for much this week it's cause we have people here and i should be studying. So i hope you all have a fabulous week.

P.S - SHM - Hope your DH has a great b'day too and you guys should come over next week for drinks to celebrate our b'days! Let us know what day suits you and K. :)

happybirthday V8!!!

Bexta - your little boy in your av is just so gorgeous, what kind of age gap are you hoping for?My DD is turning 10 this October () & my spunky little guy is 3 months!!! So going for a smaller age gap this time as I'm turning into an old hag!!! Seriously though, DS will be 14 months if we have one in July... & we are hoping for another boy so they can be play-mates etc... (will use the opk's & bd right on ovulation like we did last time to get DS... might not work though???), but would love either sex.

ETA - I've always loved your avatar... Josh is so cute!!!

Hey bexta - thanks hun for the birthday wishes and the compliment of Joshy :) Sounds good to have a smaller gap, i couldn't do it for #1 & # 2, but might cope with a closer gap between 2 and 3 kiddies. Josh is just at such a gorgeous age can't wait for him to be a big brother, he says it so cute to! And yeah, the room is all ready for a bub, just need one to put in it! lol.

Oh V have you set up the babies room already? I stop and look at hours (currently the spare bedroom/cats room/ clean clothes mountain) every time I pass by. Would love to start working on it but feel that may be taking my obsession to the next level before actually getting a BFP

Hey everyone,
Haven't chatted for a while have we?We must all be very busy.

Im still waiting around for something to happen lol,i am on cd 51 and still not a sign of AF.I goto the doctors on friday to get my bt results they sent me a letter to get in asap so there must be something found on the results :( im hoping that its nothing too serious.I have been feeling really crampy but no af,im just trying to relax at the moment so af can come either that or i miraculously fall pregnant haha.

I went to this natural medicines place on monday, and they made me up a concoction of bush remedies that my body needed,it is really helping me health and relationship wise :).

They gave me this mist spray that i put on my stomach,it is for balancing out hormones so fingers crossed it works.

Happy bday Vee,and hope everyone is well.

Ciao

Jac I'm sure the blood test results are all fine. Perhaps you did just skip AF last cycle and it will come when it's due this cycle. I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you. And for you miraculously falling pregnant.

Big news on our front. We've decided to throw planning (and $1000 of the baby bonus) out the window and are officially TTC:smiliedance:

I'm over the moon and have been floating on cloud nine since yesterday. Imagine what I'll be like when we get our BFP! So today is day 1 of my cycle and I'm extatic that I seem to have my cycle down pat and regular. Here's hoping we soon have reason to celebrate.

You have probably read we ttc for july and then have put it off until we go to Europe in mid December! Just because if I got pregnant before then it might cause a few probs with the trip... I am very impatiently waiting for December to roll around!!!

Good luck with you ttc journey, hopefully it will be a short one!

Hi Girls,
Just got back from the doctors, got the results which are good but bad too.

Well the doctor said that my hormones are a little out of whack(which could be due to bf).She said that i haven't yet ovulated,BUT i still could(which im very happy about). So i have to go back next week on Wednesday to do more bloods to see if i have ovulated yet.

So i still have a really good chance of ovulating(if i haven't already done so).So fingers crossed i have ovulated and i am pregnant :fingerscrossed:.

I am feeling really good about getting another chance(pretty much) and i *think* it wont be long until i get my :bfp:

Bexta
16-08-2007, 21:01

i can't believe you were able to not tell anyone till you got to 20 weeks! Some people suspected!!!:detective: Otherss just thought my bum was getting big!!!

Ali - you have such a long wait!!! :fingerscrossed: Santa brings you a BFP!!!

Lately i have had some cramps and tender tummy but now all is good.I dont feel anything.

I feel less bloated, which may indicate that i have already ovulated.Last week i had ewcm so i thought i may have ovulated then.

I guess i'll find out next week.

Yeah its pretty exciting, but scary at the same time, today is the day that i would have been due to have bub#3(but i miscarried) so there would have been 13 months between Sasha and angel bubba.Thats pretty scary. There should be a nice gap between bub #3 and Sasha now.

Im hoping that when i get my next bt on tuesday that its says that i have o'd.

Multiples? Twins maybe. 2 birds with one stone but then I don't think it would be easy.

Still planning to try for another baby next November. it seems so far away. Oh and we have no birth control so its not really in our hands anyway. Maybe that is silly but we are not comfortable with standard birth control. So we aint trying but we aint avoiding the possibilty. Abstinence isn't an option. :)

I am pretty clucky.. hence being here on the forum... but we are waiting to TTC for about 2 years.

DH has long service in 2010 and we are young 23/24 so we have the time to wait.

Half of me wants to get pregnant now and the other half wants to wait so I can lose weight (already lost 20kg... 20 more to go) and get our finances in order.

Its a bit of a see-saw

Hello ladies. A bit of a while since I last popped in.

Welcome to our little gang tooshypanda. You are sure to give in and TTC early if you hang around here too long. We all did:p

Yay for AF Jac:yelclap: . 57days wow. You may have actually o'd twice in that time and just skipped a period. It's the exact right time for it. It's exactly two 28 day cycles. Yay for AF though.

I've actually popped in to say I will be away from bubhub for the next two weeks. We will be bd-ing like rabbits:o this month and am trying to keep calm about it all so decided for the first month TTC I'll keep away from baby related activities to keep the pressure off. I have a really good feeling about it but maybe that's just me being naive.

My SIL sent me a picture of her 13week baby bump and I'm so jelous and excited. Also made my jaw drop at the size she is for 13weeks. she looks about 6 months. And her hubby and mine are the same size (their brothers) and she's about my size too! Oh dear!

Bring on the baby dust and I'll talk to you all in a couple of weeks.

tooshypanda
22-08-2007, 16:59
I am trying not to give in - yet! :)

I am using being clucky as motivation to get down to my healthy weight range.

Have fun bd-ing CrazyCatLady

hey ladies:wave:

so we had our weekend away.....very nice:)

But it got me thinking about our situation.

Travelling with a toddler (especially doing the dreamworld/theme park thing) was a VERY different eperience to when we used to go on holidays alone. It was a lot of fun, but at times it was really hard work.

I have this travel itch right now as it seems everyone i know is either overseas or about to be.It makes me think should we do a bit of travelling now while grace is getting a bit older BEFORE we go through it all again? We have been tossing up whether to take a trip to disneyland late next year and if we were to do that then the baby making plans would have to go on hold for a while.

I'm really excited to have another bub but if we do any chance of travel is at least another 3 years or so away!!! And grace is only just getting to the age where i think it will be easier to take her, like by this time next year?

I'm so confused:confused:

What do you guys think?

V8
22-08-2007, 19:36
Hey guys

Jac - wow, glad AF finally showed up and i like CCL's theory too maybe you had two cycles but just skipped your period.

CCL - Goodluck hun we will miss you while you're away and thinking of you and sending you some :babydust2:

MDAG - I have a bit of an itch to go travelling too, but we went on a holiday to NZ last year so that's pretty much it as far as travelling for us for another few years i think. I think Josh is a good age now for travelling and he seems to enjoy it, we also took him to NZ and he was only just 1 year old, so there's no reason why when you have the next one you can't wait till they are one or so before you go travelling, plus they are free when they are under two. :) It's a hard decision huh? But i would rather have the kids first and then do travelling with them preferably.

Ok so an update from me is not much, other than i am feeling very very sick, and no not that :barf: sick. Just achy and pains and sore head and throat, so feeling miserable. Not sure if it's a sign that i am pregnant or not but am hanging to find out if i am or not. Have to wait at least another week or so though. Bummer, and this :rain: is so annoying! lol But we need it so that's good i spose.

Anyways, hope you ladies are going well.

Vee

Hi everyone,

I got my results today and its bad new :(.

I haven't ovulated at all in the last 57 days. The doctor said its to do with my pcos and me being overweight. The doctor said i have to lose weight so she has changed my medication the one i was on before was making me put on weight. She said that if i lose weight there is a good chance i will start to ovulate. She also said that there is a good chance that its because of breastfeeding. She wanted me to stop, but i said no im not going to take the one thing away from my son that he loves just so i can have what i want.I have decided to concentrate at the moment on losing some weight and then i might just happen to get pregnant.

I'll still be ttc but just at the top of my list at the moment is getting myself healthy.

The doctor said that it sounds and looks as though i tried to ovulate 2 times one on day 14 on my cycle and the other on day 44 of my cycle.I did indeed have 2 28 day cycles i have just skipped one period.

So heres hoping that i can loose weight quick to make myself healthy,so then we can ttc a baby :D.

Im not really that disappointed as i figure things happen for a reason and i think that the reason is im not exactly healthy and i need to get healthy before i can provide another baby with nutrients.

I know it wont be long until i get a BFP,and when it does happen i'll be so happy :D

:smiliedance: HELLO!!!

Nothing exciting from me... just missed you guys!!! Nothing like a group of nuts trying to do the same thing!!!

Seriously though... I did a opk test (POAS addict here as you know!!!)... & I only got the control line??? I should have O'ed normally!!! Well going by my cycles before DS was born anyway... Might take a couple of months to get in proper synch... DAMN THIS BABY MAKING BUSINESS!!! (It wasn't this hard in high school was it??? Hehe!!!)

You may have actually o'd twice in that time and just skipped a period. It's the exact right time for it. It's exactly two 28 day cycles. You are soooo wise!!! I would have never thought of that!!!:geek: HAHAHA!!! Will miss you!!! Hoping you'll come back with good news!!!

JAC - Ouch for the blocked duct! It's funny to say, but glad AF is visiting!!! At least you know things are in order! (I was hoping you were going to make that bfp announcement though!!!)

Tooshypanda - WELCOME!!! Iagree... you're cluckiness might end in a bfp here!! I've said to heaps of my friends to not keep putting it off if they are seriously clucky, but you're young & everyone has different opinions as to what age is the best to have your 1st bub (& I'm 32 so time's running out for me!!! LOL!!! So I should just shut-up & bd NOW!!! LOL!!!)

Vee - Will have September 4th in my diary!!! Good=luck!!! (are you feeling lucky?)

ETA - I forgot to mention that I got my 1st fluffy mail toady!!! I love my new MCN's!!! (Monkeys Doodlez Micro)

V8
22-08-2007, 20:45
Jac - that's no good, but good for you for sticking with BF, and you are right it's better for you to be healthy first before having another baby. I wouldnt be surprised if my weight is an issue in conceiving the next bub, so if it looks like a problem i will do something about it. You still have plenty of time though.

Bexta - Oooh, monkey doodlez nappy, they look pretty cool. I have been totally slack lately with MCN's, i should pull my finger out though!

I know what you mean about being tempted... I'm starting to look at the OSFM/A mcn's!!! Also trying to re-arrange DS's room in my mind to accomodate the new arrival! (I swear I'm going mad) & you know what??? I blame BH!!! I'm surrounded by bubs!!! (& boy are they cute!!!) Oooooo... I want one (or three!!!!!!!!)

Better go... or I'll get madder by the minute!!!:o

Pretty boring atm, just waiting waiting! lol This :rain: is doing my head in! It's been raining constantly for about a week now and i'm sick and tired of it. Even if we do need the rain. I can't wait till next month so i can see if AF is going to show up or not, if she does ahwell i won't mind too much, it will happen when it's meant to happen i guess. Just the waiting is annoying huh?! lol

I went to a nappycino today... talk about *Cluck Cluck Cluck*!!! Everyone was pregnant!!! The newborn MCN's were sooooo gorgeous!!! Bought 3 overnight for DS. He cried (screamed) the whole time we were there (That's enough to put you off!!!!!!!!!!!) Have to stress that again!!! That's enough to put you off having children forever!!!!!

O boy, he's hard work!!! (Love him sooo much though... never been in love like this before!!!)

I try so very hard not to get so clucky but when you have all these cute babies around you can't help it.When the next bub is on its way i'll be sure to start shoppingI saw about 6 very heavily pregnant women today... *berk beerrrkkk.. cluck cluck*!!!! & those newborn mcn's DROOL DROOL!!! I was also looking at mooncups. My DH thinks I'm turning into a hippee... but he's so sweet.... he said he'd support (&even wash out) my clothies if I chose to go that way.... That must be love Valentine!!!!!!

Sorry girls I know this isn't the thread for that... I'm so pumped by the nappycino today & my normal thread would persecute me for posting that!

Kymmy that sounds like a nice time in Oct to go away without the kiddies! :D ;) Might see an announcement in Nov then. Haha, actually imagine all the potential announcements in Nov, think it may be a busy month! lol

Bexta - you're hilarious! And what a lovely hubby to wash your cloth menstrual pads! lol Not to sure about many hubbies that would do that! And yeah newborn MCN would be just so so cute, but i have pretty much OSFA bumgenius, so i will just use them when the times comes.

Goodness though seeing so many preggy ladies sure would make me sprout a few more feathers! But yeah also reminding me of the newborn stage where they can just cry constantly for hours isn't good either! Josh was definately a difficult baby and just as difficult as a toddler, but he's pretty awesome all the same!

CCL - Hope you are enjoying your break ;) Valentine

Ok, best go past my bed time! lol

hi again:wave:
Babies are back on my mind again:)
A year would be just so long to wait!Just for a holiday. But I SOOOOOOOOOOOO want to go to disneyland, I always have:laughing:
But you are right V, most other holidays would be acceptable with a bubba around 12 months or probably even younger.

So I am not even sure what cycle day I am on.lol it is so almost October, aren't we all going to go bonking crazy when that ':babydust2: special' first week comes along

Anyways thats enough for me

have a shagging mad weekend everyone!

Hi girls,

Sounds like we've all been busy :D

We have had a really nice weekend, yesterday was just a movie day and today we went for a nice drive through the chittering valley. We seen cows, sheep, horses and alpaca's it was the first time Serena and Sasha had seen live stock and Serena was really scared of the cows cause they were moo'ing at her  then as we drove off df was mooing at the cows and they started chasing after the car(Behind the fence of course).

It was a really nice day and i enjoyed myself.

Af has finished now and we are back to ttc i am thinking of getting maybe baby so i can pinpoint if i am o'ing then i wont have to pay out so much money for o'ing kits.I am hoping that i do o this month and that my cycles aren't so long

Hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend :D

Hey Ladies

Well i am on 9dpo and i decided to test. lol Im an idiot it was :bfn: lol! Not too surprised really, it's still pretty early, i know i should just wait until AF is late, but i just can't help it! I am a POAS addict! In fact i think i need to order like a box of 30 or something! Tempting but better not just yet to get too carried away!

Did everyone have a good weekend, sounds like you did CCL! :) And yeah i have been feeling quite stressed lately, but more so to do with uni than TTC, so i dropped 2 subjects to have a bit more balance and less stress. Rescue Remedy is great huh?

Also, i just wanted to say how much i appreciate you all in this thread, i didn't think many people would reply when i wrote it, but it's comforting to know others feel the same as me and i feel that i know you all really well now and enjoy chatting with ya's all!

GROUP HUG!!! :hugs: hehe

V- I'll beat u every time on the POAS stakes, It is now a running joke in my extended family that I am an addict. It's kind of embarassing but in my defense I have cut back a lot:laughing:

I dropped 2 subjects too so this semester I'm only doing the one.It kind of bugs me because last semester I was able to manage 3 and get all distinctions and this semester i was struggling with even 2??????

CCL-perhaps u are addicted to rescue remedy? Are we going to have to send u to rehab?

Hey Jac- I do believe it is time fr u to get back down to business:devil6:

hallo to everyone else:wave:

So............ I just had the bestValentine EVER! lol TMI!!!!!!!!!!!

I just had to tell someone. It's funny how when you have been with someone for ages and you almost know what to expect in the bedroom, and its good but not exactly mysterious anymore...But then......something happens and it's AMAZING the best ever! I've run out of emoticons.doh.

anyways that's a bit too much sharing from me tonite

xoxoxoxohappy week everyone!

Hey MDAG - I think the subjects just are getting harder, the workload this semester compared to last semester is huge! So that's why i am unable to keep up with it all, i was surprised by the amount of work and how much time i need to spend on it. I just keep plodding along and hope to god i finish this decade! lol

Thanks girls im pretty impressed,i don't really have a secret.

I was on anti depressents that made me put on 10kgs so as soon as i came off them i lost 5kgs in days.I knew it was going to happen,i have been eating alot less, and more healthier so thats good.

Hopefully i continue to lose weight and start o'ing.

I was talking to df last night and im so longing for a baby, but then i realise im really lucky as some couples can't have babies :( and i know i will soon be pregnant.

hello ladies

How are we all today. looks like I have a late start to work today so thought I'd pop in and see how everyone is going. Still bonking away in our neck of the woods. Well every second day anyway. Very romantic I know. DH keeps complainign it's like scheduling a rocket launch. I'm really confident in my cycle so I'm pretty sure we'll have our BFP in a few weeks. And if I'm being naive there's no point in thinking negatively anyway.

5kg's in a week. That's fabulous. You must be working hard. I've started my gym trips in the morning again. It means a 5am start but as long as I'm able to get my nana nap at some stage during the day I'm fine.

toushypanda just go for it. No one ever feels 100% ready. You could always decide to not try but not prevent? ;)

My mum is down this weekend which also happens to be when I'm o-ing so this should be funny. No way in the world we're going to miss out this month because she's here. I have to pick her up at the airport tonight and DH doesn't know it yet but we have to get a BD in before I do so the poor thing will pretty much be jumped after he gets home from work. It's been a very long time since we did it this much and what cracks me up is chances are we won't be doing it this often again until TTC #2:laughing: . I better not say that to DH or he'll get depressed:p .

Did something naughty the other day too. put a pram and baby capsule on layby! Oh I'm sad. It is exactly what we want and was half price so that's how I'm justifying it.

Well ladies have a wonderful day. Baby dust all round:babydust2:

Still no news from me... I got the slightest feintest line on an opk yesterday... will test agian tomorrow & let you all know what's what!

Good luck with handeling the 2WW, Vee!!!:hugs::fingerscrossed: Tough doing that!!! (For me it's hard & expensive not to test every day!!!)

Love all the new AV's!

happybirthday Jac for tomorrow if I don't get on!!! What'd ya wish for???

Hi girls,

I am having a pity day today,i am so sick with the flu :( my nose is all stuffed up and im aching all over. What a time to get sick huh? Right on my 21st bday.We are going out for dinner tomorrow night with dh's parents for my birthday,we didn't have anything planned( just can't be bothered). They are shouting us so that was really nice of them :D.

I hope i am feeling better tomorrow :fingerscrossed: i hardly even got any sleep last night cause i couldn't breathe and i was waking up every 10 mins to wipe my nose(or blow it).

Ds got sick again and was pretty close to another hospital trip, but luckily i had some steroids(for athsma) left i took him to the docs and they said to just watch him the meds should start taking effect(and they did :smiliedance).

Dd has been sick and now has a pretty bad chesty cough.

Our whole family is sick.

We tried to bed last night and it was horrible, trying to do 'it' and not being able to breath at the same time(but df still donated his little men :D).

I think i may be ovulating in about 4-5 days(so fingers crossed it happens this time) i am just charting my cm for now trying not to worry too much and just 'let' it happen.Hopefully losing 5kg would have made a difference.

Sounds like everyone is either o'ing or in the tww i have my fingers crossed that whoever is waiting gets their bfp and whoever is trying gets their bfp and time doesn't go too slow.

ETA -Thanks for the birthday wishes bexta

ok guys, I have a more general non TTC related question that I felt more comfortable sharing within the confines of this group.

How do you guys not 'bite' on bubhub? Like when someone says something completely moronic and it makes you furious, how do you resist the urge to speak, or worse-be impolite or unfriendly?I don't want to become known as the b!@# OF BUBHUB but sometimes it's so hard to ite my tongue and i walk away from my puta feeling disgusted.

On another random thread this morning people were discussing young girls wearing innappropriate clothing, and for the most part I agree-I dont want DD dressing like a stripper either:laughing:

But there were some posts that IMHO crossed the territory into the 'blaming the victim' mentality suggesting that the way a young girl dresses may make her more susceptible to sexual assault etc, and that as parents we should take some of the responsibility.

This infuriates me:mad: It might be because I'm a psych/sociology student and taught specifically not to think in this way but but this kind of thinking drives me crazy!!!!!!!!!

Generally, rape is about control NOT SEX and it really makes me angry that people think women in revealing clothes etc are somehow 'asking for it' or putting themselves at risk.

The problem here is not about women/girls etc exposing their bodies, the problem lies solely within the attacker.Suggesting anything else in this day and age is a damn disgrace!

If me daughter wants to wear a bikini down the beach than she has the right to expect to be left the hell alone!Just like anyone else!

its so sad that even some women can't see this:no:

so how do you guys stop yourself from taking the 'bite'?:detective:

♥Heaven Sent♥
31-08-2007, 13:34
Hey MDAG,

I read that thread to but as soon as i finished reading the first one i left,i thought it was pretty ridiculous. And i agree with everything you said.

kymmy
31-08-2007, 14:11
Trying not to bite? I used to get annoyed but now I just let ppl think the way they like as long as I get my say, all is good. Its hard though cos you can have a strong opinion about things and it does make you angry. Sometimes it safer to shhhh! I learn that one with my husband but he just likes to argue with me.

Which is why I came in this thread. My husband said something to me this morning. I said I am worried about getting pregnant atm. He said, "I want another baby" I know he does. He talks about it a lot. He wants a lot of kids. I know he is fine to wait until I am ready but am I being selfish in waiting.
:(

31-08-2007, 14:26
hey guys:wave:

Jac-thanx;) I need to learn to just walk away too,but sometimes it's like watching a train wreck, you know it's going to be ugly but you just can't look away!

Kymmy-I don't think u are being selfish AT ALL. BOTH partners need to be equally ready in my opinion BEFORE u start trying as once it's 'done' (giggle, I'm so immature!), there's no turning back and if one partner feels like they were pressured into it resentment can quickly follow:eek:

Hey All

Happy birthday Jac, sorry you are sick hunny, that's not good at all!

MDAG - I just ignore it, i'm a fence sitter at the best of times and don't like conflict so i steer clear pretty much! lol

Bex - Did you 'o' hun? And yeah, resisting the urge to POAS is sadly not my forte!!

Well news from me is, i am very sick, the flu is horrible had it for over two weeks now. Looking forward to fathers day, i'm thinking of making an announcement on fathers day to my family ;)

Check out my ticker :)

I did two tests, one with FMU this morning and it was a faint :bfp: it got darker though and is quite clearly a BFP decided to do one tonight and it took almost the whole ten minutes but there was a definate second line. So i'm pretty confident i got my :bfp: I am just keeping it pretty quiet till probably father's day. Will do another test tomorrow morning, so shall let you know how it goes. Also by the due date calculator i'm due on the 10th of May 2008 which means i am 3 weeks and 6 days. So there you go!

congratulations Vee:yelclap: :yelclap: . That is so exciting and I'm so happy for you. What great timing to announce it on fathers day. How cute will that be.

Jac a big happy birthday for you. So sorry to hear it hasn't been a good one. You know we are always here if you need to talk things out.

MDAG I am just like you and fire up when I hear someone give massive opinions about something they know nothing about. I'm glad I didn't see that thread as that mentality sends me off. I don't give a damn if a girl walks around stark naked. There is no excuse for that kind of violation. Deep breath here or I'l start ranting. makes my blood boil. God help if anyone ever said something like that to my face. I think you should give your opinion. If you say it to a thousand people and you make just one of them think about it differently it is worth it. Sorry I'll get off my soap box.

Bexta glad to hear someone else goes overboard too.

Well news here is I think we are in the TWW. I usually don't ovulate until cd19 but it looks like I o'd early this month. Have been BDing for days before and after so hopefully we get our BFP. My maybe baby has givin me nothing but the dip stick tests were the same so I'm not suprised. I keep reading into all the things my body is doing and I think it's going to drive me nuts. Bring on the rescue remedy!

Thanks everyone for the hugs,i did have a nice bday even if it was without df.We went out for dinner and it was really nice.

I have heard from df he is at work atm but he rang me and has said sorry,i said to him if he wants to be lonely then he can but i can be happy without him.I think he knew that i wasn't going to chase after him no more.I am feeling a little bit better although now i have a cough and can't talk very loud.Nose is starting to unblock.

Df is going to be home in a few hours and is going to make it up to me.

Will come back later and tell you how it went, lets hope he has something really nice planned.

:hugs: Jac, i'm sorry things are not going well with your DF, i hope it goes ok this arvo, he certainly does have a lot of making up to do if you want to stay together.

Thanks again girls for the congrats, hope to see some of you in the May section!

CCL - oooh you may find out soon if you have BD'ing a bit around 'o'. My calculations are that i o'd on the 18th and i'm pretty sure we bd'd a few days before and on 'o' day. So you may find out soon too!

I have decided not to tell anyone IRL yet, i have told my twin sister as she can keep secrets, plus i don't want to tell DH as he will tell everyone, i'd prefer to wait till i'm a bit further along. So my parents are going away in 2 weeks for a month overseas so i have decided to tell them then when they get back when i'll be around 10 weeks. Then DH will know and he can tell his family. Would be nice to say something tomorrow for fathers day and keep it just between me and DH but with his memory so poor he'll forget not to tell anyone and the cat will be out of the bag.

Also i'm still really sick with the flu so don't feel much like celebrating anything! lol

Goodluck girls!! :babydust2:

Jac I hope yesterday went well and he has been an angel to make it up to you. These things suck but sometimes they make the relationship stronger.

Vee that's so nice that you have your sister to get excited about bub with while you are keeping it a secret. You'd probably explode otherwise. I agree it'll be much nicer to celebrate when you feel better.

Well I'm not sure if I'm in the 2ww anymore. Not sure if I've even o'd yet. We are BDing like rabbits every second day to make sure we catch o so it's been a bit hard to track CM since it's always a bit spermy down there. so sorry for TMI. Couldn't say that to anyone but you guys. I'm sure I did have a couple of days of egg white CM but it was earlier than usual. Also cervix was soft, high and open. Nothing on maybe baby but since the urine ones didn't work I wasn't suprised. CM is thinning out now and cervix has dropped but still open. But when I did maybe baby again this morning there was a bit of ferning! This timing however is almost spot on to my normal CM and o so we are BDing still just in case I got it wrong. Poor DH is exhausted and complaining that he feels like an old man. have been BDing every other day since cd9 and we are now cd18. If we don't get our BFP this month with so much BD I think DH will collapse at the thought of doing it all again next cycle:p .

03-09-2007, 08:14
Glad you got a good laugh out of that MDAG. Well get ready for another one. I sent poor DH off absolutely exhausted this morning. I did my maybe baby this morning before going to the gym and it came up nothing. So I got out the info sheet again and I had read yesterdays wrong. It wasn't approaching o, it was o! Still not too bad as we had BD the night before I got the positive o in the morning. But just to make sure I woke DH up at 5:30 this morning to BD. He wasn't happy! I thought it was hilarious however.

So looks like we are in the TWW now. I'm pretty confident considering we BD the day before and the day after o. So according to my little fertility bible here it's pretty much perfect timing. Yay. I'm actually much more relaxed now as I'm not thinking so much and tracking o so hopefully I won't go too nuts in the next two weeks. Send some of that baby dust my way Vee:babydust2:

Hey Bexta - cute pic hun, your son is gorgeous!!

I didn't tell DH for father's day. Will wait till i'm further along, i asked him how he would feel if i was pregnant and he said, 'that would be good i hope you are pregnant now'. I just said, maybe, not sure yet have to see the doc. But he's already forgotten.

CCL - yeah i have contacted a middie will see her when i get rid of the flu, hopefully in a week or so. :) If it were my first bubba i probably wouldnt be homebirthing either. But this time i am really set on it.

SHM - Hey sweetie!! Been missing ya, wow you've been busy and naughty DH, kick his butt! lol How exciting to have carpet, love the last homey touches! Thanks for the :hugs: girls.

Everything seems to be alot better,df took me out like he promised and we just spent a bit of time together by ourselfes(with no kids :smiliedance: ).

It was very nice,i also got spoilt i got THE best juicer maker EVER its so cool and i have been making my own juices for the kids. They drink alot of juice so i wanted it to be healthy for them.

We are still not ttc i want things to be better between us before we do,i will still be coming in to chat to you girls though.

Its ovulation time today, yesterday i had EWCM so i don't know if i am ovulating or not.

I have lost another 2 kgs so that is 7kgs so far(i am down to 68kgs) :smiliedance:

I can't believe im 21 now i feel so old lol.

Today we took the kids down to Moore River its where the ocean meets the river,it was really nice and the kids enjoyed it.

Kymmy that sounds like a nice time in Oct to go away without the kiddies! :D ;) Might see an announcement in Nov then. Haha, actually imagine all the potential announcements in Nov, think it may be a busy month! lol

Yeah um wouldn't be surprised! :o
I will probably relax when we go away.

Can you imagine how busy the ob's are going to be in July next year. I'm feeling better and better about TTC early as I figure if we are lucky enough to get our BFP:fingerscrossed: then we might get our pick of ob's as everyone is holding off for the baby bonus increase.

Oh please let this be our month for BFP:fingerscrossed:
