Can you get pregnant at the end of your cycle?

DH and I are planning to start TTC next month but AF for this month hasn't arrived yet (3 days late). I'm usually really regular and I'm pretty sure I o'd around day 10-14. 5 days before AF was due we thought we'd be safe so didn't bother with a condom....and now AF is late and it never is.. is it possible to get pregnant that late in a cycle?

I became PG only 5 days prior to AF my first time. Don't know how - but I did. Unfortunately it ended up in a mc.

So i do think it is possible - but in a weird way.

wow! Nice to know it is possible! Still no AF but I'm thinking if it did happen last weekend I probably won't be able to test for another week anyway! But I think by the time AF is a whole week late I won't be in doubt anymore!

I finally tested but got a :bfn: . Not sure what's going on with me now!!!!! I guess I"ll just have to wait until AF finally decides to show itself. I'm still thinking though, if something did happen from last weekend, it's only been 7-8 days so probably wouldn't show up in a test yet. So am still hoping a little :fingerscrossed:

i got 2 :bfn: before a i got a faint:bfp: .. then it got darker each test after

I o'd at the end of my cycles when I fell preg with both my girls... I too got :bfn: until atleast 2 weeks after AF was due.... good luck!!

thanks girls. I'm really confused because my fertile cm had ended a few days before we "did the deed" so it seems like I o'd ontime and therefore couldn't possibly be pregnant, but I just don't feel normal. Had a really slight show yesterday avo and again this morning (like, REALLY light, need a magnifying glass!) and nothing since. So if I don't get AF tomorrow I'm just going to convince myself I'm pregnant and live in happy land until I find out otherwise! :laughing:

Well, AF arrived today :no: So it's all over for this month. I definitely feel I got cheated though, putting up with 5 days of AF cramps before AF even showed up!!! :mad:
