thanks to those who helped me - i can do it!!!! sew elastic properly, that is!!!!

finished my second nappy tonight and used 8mm elastic and it worked. i think this was better quality elastic and had better memory(?) that the last thinner lot too.

yay :yelclap: am very happy and now need some spunky fabric to do a few more.

1) i am mad
2) wow you can sew!, and ignore the nappy

elastic is hard isnt it, but once you work it out you dont make as many stuff ups (they still do happen just not as often)

Yay, no more daggy saggy elastic for Sams bum now. :D

easy there tiger - it wasnt so much saggy, just gentle elastic :D .

well it kept everything in, just wasnt actually tight on the leggies :confused: . anyway this one will be much better - we should go to that fabric place you mentioned... i want spots and stripes.
