Hi!

Not yet, but hoping to come over by Feb. We're coming for a look-see in September (and to get our passports stamped) and then will start winding everything up on this side (Joburg). How long have you been there?

I am married to a SA and lived there for a while, but I'm definitely a Kiwi!

We're from Natal. Moved to Adelaide in April 2004, then to Brisbane in June 2007. Been a BIG adjustment for us, but we're surviving :)

Hi all other SA Mummies!!!

How are you finding Aus? I've been here since I was 9 years old so don't really remember know what South Africa is like these days.

Anyone want to tell?

Anyone still around from this thread?

Lily, SA has its good and bad points but obviously at the moment we feel the bad outweighs the good. Horrendous crime and corruption. But there's still mostly a good spirit, easy lifestyle and fab weather..

Well we're ready to leave next month! We decided on Brisbane and I'm hoping to have a job organised and dh will be playing Mr Mom for a while until he finds a good daycare for the little one. Starting to get very nervous and excited. Any tips? I'm thinking of trying to find a moms & babes type of group or playgroup for moms with babies the same age as mine? Anyone know where/how I'd find one? (will try some googling too)
