Ovulation - bleeding?

Has anyone else experienced bleeding when they ovulate?

I get irregular periods and and I'm not sure if I'm bleeding from that or if I'm actually ovulating because its rather light, not even enough for protection and a different colour. However I get irritable and have stomach pains.

Anyone else?

A tiny amount of blood can appear at ovulation but it dosen't happen to many people.

Have you seen a doctor?

Hey there, i not sure, but for me i dont bleed when i ovulate, however i do get mind cramps,(i think thats the egg releasing) ive also been told that some women feel mind cramps when implantation happens so it does make things very confusing.

hey lizzy,,, i have the same thing happen to me,,, i have got it checked by a doc they said not much they can do,,,, i have problems with my cervix i bleed after sex this is cause because i have a tilted cervix,,, you should not mess around with this you should go get it checked out.... it can cause problems

thanks guys. I am not due to go back to the gyno until next month so I wanted to check it out with you in the meantime.

He has given me a script to get my ovulation tested to see if I ovulate but because I have such irregular periods I was worried I might have had a period and have to count to 21 again.

Its always a good idea to check with your Doc about any abnormal bleeding.
However if its just spotting then more than likely you are just ovulating. When the eggs bursts out of the folicle it often causes bleeding. You are quite lucky if this is the case for you as its an excellent fertility indicator!:)

I had, what I consider to be, an Ovulation Bleed. It was just pinky Egg White Cervical Mucus.

I assume it was an O-Bleed because - I'd been on the pill previously and didn't have anything like it. and because I fell pregnant that month :)
