Half of a tooth just fell out

OH MY GOD!!!

Half of my secnd tooth just broke off when I was eating a sandwich s now I look like a feral!!!!

I dont know how or why it happened but god it hurts......

I rang the community dentist and cant gt in for 3 weeks....

So I rang the normal one and it costs $160!!!! to get it fixed......
And you know you get nothing back from medicare!!!!

I think its my wisdom teeth are coming in and its pushing soo hard on ym teeth....

Do you drink much milk or have dairy products?
This can happen when you don't get enough calcium.

I hope you can get it fixed up soon.

I only really have milk with my cereal but I have been drinking heaps lately as I bought chocolate milk for loch.....

I also eat yogurt but far out i cant believe it it just snapped.....

Half my molar just fell out one morning for no reason.I waited like 18 months to get it sorted:o Didnt hurt,but I have a fear o dentists.I have a temporary filling now but I might need a root canal.Ouch!!

Maybe they gave me the price for peeps with private health care gosh I hope not....or I wont be getting it fixed at all..

Can you just line up and wait :) i did that with dd thats all and they saw her after an hour or so...worth a shot saying its an emergency and its hurting like hell etc

the medical centre down the road had a dentist part,
PM or call me and i will give you their number, they never look busy, i think because not many people know about them, so they might be able to get you in soon

H you may have already had a decay in the tooth to weaken it and then biting in to something was enough to make it let go.

$160 sounds like a reasonable price to me- ex dental assistant- people pay more for jeans or sunglasses :D It is your health- it is worth something!

The price to see a private dentist is the same for everyone but if you have dental extras on your private health insurance you can claim some back.

Mum just had a root canal and a crown it cost $1800 for the one tooth to be done, i think $ 160 is cheap to fix it.
