I have purchased a bundle of snappi nappies and wondering if anyone has used them for their bubs? They are one size fits all and have adjustable snap buttons so that you can change their fit as bubs grows.

I never used them as I am disposable mummy however if I went cloths (which I was going to do both times but got lazy  ) I would have used them. My sisters kids all were cloth wearers and I remember using them always. Best ideas and much much safer than yucky big pins!

I bought some for a friend recently and couldn't believe they now come in different colours (used to be only white or apple green) - now come in yellow, blue, pink and purple.

You mean the snappy things that replace safety pins or an actual nappy??

I so want to use cloth nappies this time round but unfortunately don't have much luck buy things from catolgue or online so prefer to see them in the shops. Are they available in the shops??

Snappy nappy's replace pins. They are "Y" shaped. I've seen them in BIG W and also Safeway for a couple of dollars if that. In BIGW they are in the babys section.

no guys - you're on the wrong track...

Nadia has purchased a BRAND of cloth nappies that are held together with snaps (you know.. like the things at the crotch of a bubs jumpsuit??!!)

snappis are totally different :D they hold a folded nappy on bubs (and are one of the BEST inventions EVER!! )

Nadia - I cant help you hon - I currently use mostly folded flats... and am just starting out in the modern fitted nappy world!!! good luck though!!!

xx

I have a heap of those nappies, they are brilliant aren't they. For those out there Baby Bee Hinds are similiar to the ones she is talking about.

Hmmm... just to mix it all up, there are also snappi brand cloth nappies, as available at:
http://www.theweewuns.au.com/store/
Just do a seach for snappi. They are about half the price of most fitted cloth nappies, partly because they are a combination between a fitted nappy and a terry square, and come in 3 different sizes. good value, tho I haven't used one because I already have enough squares and fitted nappies.

Eleanor - where do you live? If you are keen to see modern cloth nappies, there is almost certainly some way you will be able to before you buy any!

1. Nappycinos! What are they, I hear you say? Well, cloth nappy nutters like me get together regularly around Australia and have a picnic, coffee, chat, etc. and bring along our stash. that way we get to see it all before we buy! If you join one of the following discussion groups you should be able to hook into one:
www.nappycino.com
www.ozclothnappies.org

2. Nappy Parties and Demonstrations: Several Australian nappy makers and retailers are now selling their nappies through consultants around Australia. Some who do this include:
www.BabyBeeHinds.com.au
www.bubbaj.com.au
www.fuzzibunz.com.au

3. Baby and Kids Markets: Sometimes, nappy makers, consultants and/or cloth nappy advocates have stalls and information stands at Baby and Kids markets. For details of a local one to you, have a look at:
http://www.babykidsmarket.com.au/

4. Expos: Few and far between, but sometimes you might be lucky enough to find cloth nappies on show at a baby expo.

If all else fails, pop into Nappycino.com or ozclothnappies.org and see if anyone lives near you who is keen to meet you one on one and show you their stash.

Good luck
