Ok... G turns 1 in a little over 2 weeks
I have the party sort of organised, and i have decided to just do fingerfoods...
I want absolutly EVERYTHING to be able to be eaten by G so that i dont have to worry about him getting or someone giving him something he shouldnt.
So far Egg is the only confirmed allergy - and something in the heinz baby fruit bars (we are thinking the nuts...) - so i need mainly egg free foods - but nut free anyway.
I desperately need a recipe for an egg free cake...
Can anyone help me?

Here is one egg and nut free receipe you can omit the choc buds and use fruit or something if you cant get any nut free or dairy free choc chips
Also in safeway the white wings cakes, some of them have cake mixes that are egg and nut free, worth a look :)
Egg-Free Dairy-Free Nut-Free Cake
Check at your health food store for tofu or nondairy chocolate chips."
INGREDIENTS
190 g all-purpose flour
3 g salt
200 g white sugar
20 g unsweetened cocoa powder
5 g baking soda
75 ml vegetable oil
15 ml white vinegar
5 ml vanilla extract
235 ml cold water
85 g semi-sweet chocolate chipsDIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking soda. Mix well with a fork, then stir in oil, vinegar, and vanilla extract. When dry ingredients are thoroughly moistened, pour in cold water and stir until batter is smooth. Stir in chocolate chips and pour batter into prepared pan.

I have a couple of different egg free recipes. I've previously posted the banana bread recipe (click the link). The other two recipes are at home. I can post them tonight.
egg-free banana bread (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?t=73434)(scroll down to my post)
egg-free cake (which I made for ds 2nd birthday)
egg-free banana cookies (which are scrumptious)you could also try searching online for vegan cake recipes.
cheers

Heinz have a new product out, Heinz Littlle Kids Little Bikkies. We bought some yesterday honey oat/honey banana and had a read of the pacl to find that apart from peanut free (which is what I was looking for) they are also egg and soy free, as well as having a low count on the sugar and salt. They taste yum too! They did have choc malt but not sure whats in them
Maybe try dried fruit.
Definitely go cold corn on the cob! My miss loved that at her party.
Try some of the allergy websites. They have good stuff on them
Just wanted to add that Ive seen in the Woolworths Health aisle, egg free and other allergen free cake mixes among other things.
