Curdling reflux

Just wandering if it is normal for a baby to projectile vomit up a whole feed and then the last bit of the reflux is all curdelled looking?!!
Also, can wind etc cause bubs tummy to go hard and swell out at the sides like it is badly bloated?

Breastfed, 4 weeks old tomorrow.

It isn't too unusual for bubs to projectile vomit, but I would recommend you talk to your doctor about it. Projectile vomiting may be indicative of reflux, but there may also be other issues, and it is really important that you make sure you know what you are dealing with.

How is their weight going? Is your bub putting on weight satisfactorily, or are they vomiting so much it is affecting that?

I'm not sure about the wind, but it is possible to be related, but again, i would strongly recommend you talk to your doctor about your concerns. I hope you get some answers. Is your bub unsettled at all with the vomiting or the bloating? Are they having any difficulties with their feeds or sleeping?

No she is a very placid baby actually very rarely will she scream from wind pain etc and she seems to be putting on weight fine..
