Thought Id try and see if I can post my own threads now. RB posted this earlier but I wanna test it out!
I know Ive posted a lot of bad lately and thought Id would be a nice change to share a lot of the good that happens, and have a bit of a gloat as well. What mother doesnt want to!!
I just needed to show myself as well as show others i guess, that thru the temper tantrums, screaming, nonsleeping and noneating .I do have a fantastic little girl that I was blessed with :hugs: :hugs:
My little missy is a very smart cheeky girl. Lately she has surprised me with just how much she picks things up. Its actually almost scary!
If I tell her I have to go the toilet, she will take my hand and take me to the bathroom, then once the door is open, she will lift up the lid and pull the toilet paper over for you.
If you say it has to go in the bin, she will take it to the kitchen safety gate, once you open it up, she takes it over to the bin and in it goes.
If you tell her its time to check the letterbox, she will take your hand and take you to the front door. I usually ask her where her shoes are and she will look at me wiht her hands out and shrug.
At dinner time, when mum dishes it up, I usually call my brother "david". THe past few nights she has taken to calling him "dayyyyyyy" (her version of david) when she hears dinner going on the table.
For a while now, if you tell her something is hot, she will say hot with her hand up and then blow at it to cool it off.
She has flash cards, and when she sees the birthday cake, she blows it. She can also pick out the apple and banana and clock.
If you say clock or she sees one, she will rock foot to foot and do the tick tock noise with her tongue.
Anything that goes on ur head, or u put on her head, is a "hat".
Towels on the clothesline are better then any toy I can buy her. .. hehe .. she runs in and out of them like its the best fun ever!!
If you sing songs from her toys, she will go and get the toy that sings that song.
She knows if she hears keys, that its time to go out somewhere. If my dad has them she will take him to the garage door. If she has them she will go the front door and try and reach the door handle to put them in.
She hops on her bike but wont go forward. She gets cranky at you if you try to make her. She prefers to go backwards and things its hilarious to bang into a wall.
When its time for a bath, she will go and get her towel out of the bedroom and drag it to the bathroom door.
The other night I was mucking around and grabbed her bottom and said bum, she promptly looked at me and shouted bum back!!
It honestly surprises me she knows so much. Often I feel I dont spend enuogh time wiht her or give her the attention she deserves as there are so many issues going on . .but I guess Im doing something right!!
