View Full Version : Cheapest place to buy a cup?
As the title suggests... I want to buy a cup - I don't really have a preference for type, so suggestions would be good, but I want a good deal :D
I bought one off a seller from the US on ebay yesterday.... I got a diva cup for $32AU inc the postage.
I thought that was pretty cheap, given that I have seen them for up to $50.

I just ordered a diva cup from ebay - it was $34 with $6 postage. Not too bad :D Can't wait... how long did yours take to arrive? AF is due in a few weeks, I can't wait, lmao. Never thought I would say that about AF!

OOoh, when they arrive, you girls will be running to the toilet to see if AF has arrived ROFL
I was so excited when I got my Divacup in Feb, and 2 weeks later I ran up the hallway super excited from the bathroom...
Me: Oh my god! Oh my god!
DP: Are you pregnant! You're pregnant? Are you pregnant?
Me: (rolling eyes) No, I got my period! Duh! *grabbing Divacup from undie drawer*
DP: *muttering* You women are weird, I thought you hated your period? Pfft....
And I was so excited, checking my cup like every hour to see how it was working- yep, still perfect.... *next hour* "Hey honey, come see the blood in my cup!!!" (Of course he muttered about me being weird and didn't bother to come in!!)
Hope you girls love your cups, I bet you do! Oh, and I paid $55 bucks plus $5 post for mine. Will buy some for my sis & SIL from eBay, it's cheaper there!!!!
Diva cups are highly recommended and they're also one of the cheapest, most ppl get them for around mid $30's off ebay or international sellers.
I chose the Mooncup which was $52-55 (about that) inc postage.
I'd really love to try a Diva to see what the difference is.

Today I ordered a Lunette cup! Myself and three friends did an order (they are running a special if you buy two at a time) and because we spent over $119 the postage from Finland is free also. :yelclap:
It worked out to be $44 per cup so now I just have to wait on the mail!

It looks very funky. I really like the groovy bag that it comes with. Not sure that I'll be wearing my Diva pin though!

Have a look at this thread:
Cup users thread (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?t=49644)
Best informative thread though, is Obsidian Star's. It has so much info on pads and cups. I can pm you the link if you want, otherwise just google "labyrinth Obsidian cups (or pads)"
Quickest explaination is that a menstrual cup basicially like a silicone or latex cup that is inserted, but instead of sucking you dry like a tampon, it collects the blood. You then dispose of the blood in the toilet or use it on your plants (they love it!). Highly recommended having a look at Obsidian's site though:thumbsup:

Took just SIX DAYS to arrive from America - how cool is that?!
And yes, Grems, giving it a 'dry run' now - I'm completely IN LOVE with it and can't wait for AF! How awesome are these things?
*skips away*
I recieved mine yesterday - and got AF today!! woohoo! It is working great so far, and I was really surprised at how easy it was to insert. Removing is a bit trickier (the suction is pretty strong), but it is fantastic!!
Everyone should know about these!
