Dakota is 1 tomorrow!!

OMG where did the year go ? My little girl is one tomorrow. In a sense i am saddened that the time has seemed rushed but yet excited to see what the next year will bring.


A One-year-old daughter is so many things,
A tiny discoverer of butterfly wings,
A hugger of Teddies,

And someone to dream for in bright years ahead...
A special new person
Who, right from the start,
Has a place in the family

Thank-you all! Time sure has been and gone too quick. Before i know it she'll be 16 :eek:

Anyway so today i'm feeling very emotional. We decided some time ago that Ducky will be our last and put the TTCing at rest... so its hard seeing the time past too quickly. Maybe im being silly. I wish Ducky could stay a baby forever :crying:

Thanks again everyone !!! We've had a pretty quiet day with a few people popping in and out. We're having a party for her on Sunday and a 2 hour drive to get there (half way point for my family/friends and the IL's to make it fair :rolleyes: ), not really looking forward to the drive home afterwards with 4 hyped up children. :fingerscrossed: they pass out on the way home.

Alicia - I wish i were lying. Hmmm.. need to make that time machine.
