Hi Ladies
I am starting to chart my cycle on fertility friend and my af has now gone so am going to start checking my cervix and mucous etc.
I want to know tho some things tho and need some help!
How do you know if your cervix opening is Closed, medium or open.
The texture is firm medium or soft.
Poisition is low medium or high.

While I am here LOL (Don't ask too much do I)
I am doing my temps each morning too, can someone explain what I need to look for and what it all means with dips and rises?

Ok, well as far as the open/closed, soft/firm, low/high, that's a matter of getting used to your own specific changes, just check every day and if it seems alot softer/higher/more open than normal note the changes!

Its supposed to start off low, closed, firm and soften up, open and raise when you are fertile.

The way it was explained to me in the begining, infertile, the cervix feels about as firm as the end of your nose, when fertile it softens up to feel more like your lips.

As for temps, it should be fairly consistantly low, then you get a significant dip followed by a spike, and your temps should remain slightly higher than before the dip & spike until AF shows, when your temp falls again.

Any other q's feel free to ask!

Sorry, I don't know the answers re your cervix questions, but I will broach the mucous subject as no one else has gone there.

Along with temp's, I found the mucous the best way to determine peak fertile days.
Attention: if mucous talk is not your thing, don't read on!

When you are at your most fertile, your cervical mucous is similar consistency to egg whites. This could last for a couple of days, so if you check this in conjunction with your temperatures, then you should be pretty spot on.
