I am very keen to make vegetable recipes BUT hidden in a way for my DD.. like I made spaghetti bolognese with carrots and broccoli and she didn't suspect a thing.. and I am looking for more fun and SIMPLE recipes.. my next one would be pizza... but what suggestions do u have?

and any other ideas to use vegetables hidden in foods?

Thanks

Just cook up a can of tomatoes, add some grated zucchini, carrot, eggplant, mushrooms, anything really. Blend it all up.

You can then use it for a pizza sauce or a sauce for spag bol or pasta.

Just a thought what about a fried rice full of vegies or a chow mein or something even vegie patties etc, my kids all eat vegies i am lucky but something like these are a great way to hide them!

I love the idea of your pizza sauce jasmine :)

Vegetable fritters (although don't call them that to the kids!)

Just grate vegies like carrot, potato, zucchini etc.
Mix together with an egg and some breadcrumbs. Maybe another egg iff too dry. Salt and pepper.

Form them into pancake-sized blobs and cook in a pan.

Sooooo yummy! You could even add cheese in if you wanted an extra flavour....

When i make rissoles i add grated carrot and zuchini to them and you can't even tell it's there.

Also a good way to get my kiddies to eat lots of vegies is to make a soup.
I boil pumpkin, carrot, brocoli, cauliflower, celery & zuchini in chicken stock then blend it all up when it's soft my 2 love it.
