Can you have a period and still be preg?

I've just had a period but feel exactly like i did at the start of my first preg. Is that poss? Should i test tomorrow?

Yep, I know a woman who had AF 4 times before they found she was 4 months pregnant.

I found out I was pg with DD2 while I was having a pelvic ultrasound for something else....I was 14 weeks, I hadn't missed a cycle. I had one more period after that, at about 16 weeks and then all was 'normal'.

Oh yeah & it runs in my family !
My Nan had something like 3 or 4 periods before they found out she was pregnant with all 3 of her kids this happened !!! My mum had it with me up until she realised she was pregnant & went to the doctors thinking ok must only be say 4wks at the most HAH ! There was me all 5mths worth of baby :p
I also had it with my bubs but only the once.

I did not find out with my first until I was 6 months and 1 week. I had suspicions about 2 weeks before we found out so I would have been 5 and half months by that stage ;) I was getting bleeding each month and thought it was a period...
I was only 15 and very fit and only had a pot belly which I thought was from eating too many custard tarts and caramel slices at the tuck shop lol :p

Jesus now I'm worried, I'm on Yasmin and been having AF like clockwork, but today I feel queasy and my boobs were weirdly sore this morning. That doesn't make any sense, if the Pill is 99.9% effective or whatever. I have been feeling funny on and off for the past few months, but never related it back to the possibility of being PG. There are two women in my office that are PG already!

Should I go get an HPT?

You sure can!! I had 3 periods (last one was light and only of a day) when i was pregnant, so getting your period doesnt always meant your not pregant!

be wary of Yasmin. from what I read in the other threads alot of women have got pregnant on it!
