How will tonight go? Will it leak?

Hey there, I have had a GK dreamytime pocket for a few weeks but havent used it overnight yet cos I was a bit nervous about what to stuff it with.

But tonight I have taken the plunge.....stuffed with a large hemparoo (folded over at the end so that its thicker at the front) plus a mircofibre booster.

Do you think it will last the distance or should I start panicking now????

Oh and his sleeping suit wouldnt fit over the top of it!!!!!!!!!!!! lol. I had to put separate pant and top Pjs on him. BUBBLE BUTT.

yes, it will definitely last the distance!!

Evie has an anytime on with an insert & microfibre for overnight & it lasts from 7pm to 7am (when she wakes up)!!

It will last no probs :thumbsup:

You may find bubs p.j bottoms may feel a little damp through the nite & in the morning but thats normal & shows the nappy working correctly !

I love our Dreamytimes & havent changed over as much as the BBB are great for nites i just love the DT's too much !

we made it through till morning. He had it on for more than 12 hours and was just starting to get a bit wet on the outside by morning. YAY!!!!

Thats awesome Becstar! :smiliedance: I wouldn't have thought it would last that long, but I have never seen a DT or used anything other than a BBB at night!

What are they made out of etc? I just keep thinking of GK's normal, and stuffed with a large hemparoo, and microfibre, they don't last miss R for longer than 3 hours... :detective:

You can't buy the DTs anymore (i scored one second hand from here, that had hardly been used). But its made from some pretty heavy duty fleece. Stuffed with a large hemparoo and microfibre booster it was ENORMOUS.

Oh my boy isnt a heavy wetter though. He can last in a Gk (anytimes) with just the one GK insert for about 4 hours during the day (not that I usually let it go that long)

LOL Love a bubble butt hehehe... Yeah I have seen them for sale secondhand in the past, but my girl is a super power wee-er unfortunately!

They also do special releases on them from time to time so keep your eyes out !

Boof is a very quick heavy wetter & the GK's last easily stuffed with a microfibre & hemp 13hrs !!!! So they do work & work really well !

They are made of Maldens Fleece with a double layering on the back. They basically work on evapouration like a wool cover but not in the same way if that makes sense. Which is why you get the damp feeling. Its not leakage just the nappy doing its job !
