Hi all.

Was just watching tv and saw the add for the Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea Fundraiser on Thursday 24th May.

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in attending if I hosted/organised one. Thought it might be a good excuse to meet some fellow bub hubbers and eat some naughty food guilt free in the name of charity.

Was thinking something along the lines of a 10:30 start at my place (in Kirwan), bubs of all ages welcome naturally. I'm happy to provide all food & drinks if it looks like a smallish affair but might ask for some volunteers if the idea seems popular. :chef:

So anyone interested? We'll all be in the same boat not knowing each other and if there are any awkward silences there's always the kids to talk about!

Either post a reply here or PM me if you are shy (like me!). I'll confirm details with interested parties later on if there seems enough response to go ahead.

Hope to hear from you!

Hey there Cat, I'd love to be involved. Might just end up being you and me!!!!! Foodwise, I am more than happy to help out. Would probably have to bring DD (Kelsey) and DS (Josh) if that's ok - I think DH is on night work and would be sleeping.

D'oh :banghead: . I sound like I wanted to bring my DH - what I meant was he will be sleeping so I can't leave the kids with him!!

I'd come!

Except I don't live in Townsville anymore. :crying:

Bit far to drive from Brissie.

Yay :smiliedance: - was scared I might have NO replies and feel a bit rejected!

2 replies is enough for me to say we'll go ahead so will PM with the details. My neighbour with a DD1 might come too.

More replies definitely welcome to anyone else who is interested!

Flicka, I knew what you meant about your DH anyway. Kelsey & Josh are naturally more than welcome to come & look forward to chatting in person.

Youngmumof1, look forward to meeting you too and promise I'm not at all scary.
