where is best place to shop in Melbourne?

A friend of mine is getting married and I am her bridesmaid and she needs some help in finding places to go to for dresses etc... would preferabbly around Richmond area.. around the Melbourne City but otherwise if u swear by a place that is great to go to outside of the city let me know I can pass it onto her... also there is a $$$ issue would prefer cheap but reasonable price...

There is a great shop on the corner or nepean highway and charman/chesterville road just near southland they have so many dresses and they range anywhere from 100 to 10000 they are really helpful as well!
Ferrari is its name anyhow and there is a huge range to choose from
