Ok, it is 1.46am and I THINK Lachlan may be asleep now... at around 5pm we took him to the doctor as he spiked a temperature of 39.1 and we gave him panadol and bythe time the doctor saw him he was fine.

So now I wakes up to crying baby and he is literally burning hot. I take off all his clothes except nappy and singlet despite how cold it is in my house and give him some panadol and SLOWLY it seems his temperature is coming down again.

I rang the hosp to find out how high a temperature needs to be before I take him in, and they said that as long as the panadol keeps putting it back down again then it is ok to stay home. So far, so good, thank god for childrens panadol!

So now I sit here wondering how many sheets/blankets/clothes he needs on him so he does not get too hot or cold. Hmmm, the joys.

Ok, vent ova:sleeping:

Keep an eye on him honey. I'd suggest just a light cotton sheet or a muslin, & maybe check his temp every hour or so? You could also give Karitane or somewhere like that a call for further advice if needed. Plus also keep to the dosage guide with the Panadol, you don't want to overdo it either. hth
