how long to keep milk in fridge?

just wondering if I express some tonight, can I add some to it in the morning, and then keep it for the day?? guess I would have to cool the second lot down before adding it to the first??

How long can you store it in the fridge?

nuddle I am no expert as I have never expressed or used a pump or a bottle or anything while breastfeeding. However, I just looked in my breasfeeding book and it says you can store your milk in the fridge for 3-5 days. If you are worrying about combining tomorrows warm milk with the stuff in the fridge maybe store them seperately until time to feed and combine them then. Hope this helps.

thanks Flicka... I ended up just pulling some out of the freezer, might as well use that to see if she will even take a bottle...
