Hiya
I have been hearing a lot og buzz about a cream called "hopes relief" Apparently its a really good cream for soothing eczema, and can be used on babies. has anyone heard about it or used it??
I bought it the other day - I think its main ingredient is that medicated honey - it's the same color too.
To early to say if it's magic, but so far it is making dd's skin a little less red... the advertising looks impressive.
She won't let me put it near her mouth though and that's one of the places that she has flare ups - will do it tonite while she's sleeping...
It's about $22 - so not cheap. Maybe take your little one into the pharmacy and try it out first:thumbsup: if you don't want to buy another magic cream:rolleyes:

my step son had very bad echema, it was so bad that he would be waking up all night crying coz of the itchiness.
We realised that long showers would ease it but would also dry his skin out which made it worse after about half an hour of being out of the shower.
We found an ointment called paw paw ointment which has worked extreamly well!!

Tried it and it didn't work. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on "miracle" creams, you are better of finding the trigger to your child's eczema and controlling it from there.

Have to agree here . I'd get allergy tests done and determine the triggers and avoid them. That's what we did for bubs and she has been eczema free for 5 months. Prevention is the key.
Good luck :fingerscrossed:
My husband has eczema and psyriosis on his had he found medi honey good.
But on my son not as good. He has eczma all over.
I use simple aqueous crem as my sons soap and a product called SBS 1 once a day. It removes the redness in hours. how ever if u havnt used it for a few day and there skin is inflamed it will sting a lil little on the first application. but i figure a feww mintutes on slight stingy is better than 24 hours of suffering.
