I have a few friends who enjoy reading the posts in bubhub but they haven't signed up and so don't join in the discussions. So my message is for you freinds and any other lurkers- c'mon girls it's much more fun to have a say and contribute. ;)
hey funfarrell, we actually had something similiar to this before, and it was because of it that we met the lovely Puk!!!
So good idea, maybe it will bring a few more lurkers out of the woodwork:D ;)
ooh lurkers... seems so weird that people know who you are but you don't know them. Come and say hello!!

I'm a reformed lurker, I lurked for a good 2 months before finally plucking up the courage to post and now I'm a senior member (well just).

I say - don't know what you are missing out on people!! But be warned - it is addictive!:p
Welcome all lurkers. I was one for ages, before I bit the bullet and posted. I felt all blushy and nervous the first time, but I'm used to it now. But draught is right, once you start, it is very hard to stop.....

lol draught so true, i took my children to a new indoor playcentre that had opened recently and saw that there baby section was called, you guessed it, bubhub! I asked the lady about it and she said, yes they came here but had never posted. :)

You see I was scared that would become addicted to this...no longer log on to ebay as that is addictive :eek: ...and that my little man would end up having to cook his own meals, do the washing etc etc, guess I will just have to restrict myself! Better go study all the abbreviations....

Hmmmm- many of us do have children who are completely self sufficient as a result of our addictions - others have got smart and bought laptops and gone wireless so they can be sitting in the middle of child chaos but not missing anything. I say do whatever you need to do in order to feed the addiction (and your children!)

I wonder if there is actually a way to see how many lurkers are on? Does any one know?
If you look at the bottom of the main page it tells you who is on line - the number of members and the number of guests (aka lurkers). Sometimes there are 60 guests:eek:

We have to try the most active users thing again! With over 4000 registered i can't believe that the most at one time has been only 187 or something like that! We can do better than that!
I just looked and it said 55 guests on line! :eek: Come out and play, all! We don't bite.....much - although some of us do bark pretty loud!
Can't believe how many people are registered either! And what happened to us trying to beat the record? I thought that was meant to happen recently?
I think too many people were on holidays and such! Maybe when we're all back in the real world we can try again!
