Karratha schools

Does anyone know much about the schools in Karratha? looks like we may be living in Pegs Creek. Cant really do much about sussing out the schools till we get there but if anyone can tell me anything about maybe Pegs Creek and Millers Well primary schools would be much appriciated. Thanks

::wave: : My husband and I have been in Karratha for 2 years now and in the Pilbara for 5. I'm a teacher (& a mum of two) and have a few teacher friends in my daughter's playgroup. Not that I have taught in Karratha myself , but from talking to other mums and also my friends that are on maternity leave from their school at the moment, I can have gathered that out of the primary schools in Karraths Peg's has the best reputation, then Miller's Well.

Will your daughter be in kindy or pre-primary? I know there is quite a wait to get into kindy up here at the moment. :confused:

My little girl is around the same age of your little boy, let me know if you are looking to join a playgroup with other 2 year olds?

Thanks for that. I does help. Once I know definately where we will be living I can work out the schools. Mackayla is in pre primary, she loves it at her current school. Hope it doesnt affect her too much moving towns and schools. She makes friends very easily though so she should be ok.

I will be looking for a playgroup with other 2 year olds, Seth loves playing outside and making a mess lol.
Cant wait to get up there, everyone we talk to say how good it is in Karratha so I hope we like it :fingerscrossed:
