Ok... Sorry if this isnt in the right area lol

But i wanted to know if anyone else had there bubs at Wagga Base. What did you think of the pregnancy care clinic there?

Oh and the Maternity Ward?? :eek:

Hi, I didn't have my baby at Wagga Base. but had my gall bladder out when DS was 4 weeks old and they were great then. I have heard very differing opinions though. I think it really just comes down to the particular midwives you get. Good Luck.
Oh and i was admitted to Maternity so that bub could stay with me.

Oh cool.. Yeah i had Tyra at WWBH and then i also had my gaul bladder out 7 months later and was put into the kids ward.... (i was 16!) It was awful... and Tyra wasnt able to come and spend time with me.

I just wanted to know if the base has changed since my horror time almost 3 yrs ago

Yeah. Like i said when i was there they were great, but they didn't really have to care for me(and i was admitted as a private patient)all they had to do was obs and they were fantastic.
But when Katherine was there 2 months earlier I found them to be a bit rude. and didn't really want to care for their patients.
Hopefully they are better now. If you get Janine Sutton she is awesome. One of the best middies you will ever come across.(She is one of my friends sisters and she is sooooo good)

Shandi - I can't believe you know Janine!!! She gave our ante natal classes and I would have been lost without her!!!! She's fantastic.

Kristen - The first night I was there, I got the crankiest oldest damn middie available. It was 3am, I was beside myself and totally lost and all she did was tell me off!!!! But all in all, they were really good. Just don't take any ****!

When i was in there i had a midwife who was a cranky old midwife but in the end she is the one who helped me the most.

She wore Purple Everything (lol)

I currently have a midwife at the pregnancy clinic Shirley. She is FANTASTIC! I couldnt fault her at all.
