It has been disappointing that a very, very small number of members have been causing disturbances on the forum over the Christmas break - when many of our moderators (who are volunteers) were on holidays.

It would like to re-iterate that this site is for friendly, supportive people only.

We will not tolerate aggressive or abusive posts - offenders will be banned without warning. We ask any member who receive unwanted private messages to also contact us so that we can take necessary action quickly.

We have banned the person causing all the recent agro - and I understand that she has now moved on to another Australian baby forum!

So let's have a great New Year and a very supportive 2006 here on Bub Hub!

Hilary:)

A reminder that good behaviour on the site extends beyond what is posted on the open forum. Messages sent using the private message system should also not be obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws. Messages should be polite and friendly. Others are free to express their opinions and beliefs and any difference of opinion should not be taken personally.

A further reminder that sending offensive or harassing material through the internet, whether it be by forum posting, private messaging or through email, is a criminal offense that carries a possible jail sentence. If there are people on the forum or who you have made contact with through the forum who are participating in activities that you do not approve of or agree with, please think twice before emailing or messaging to abuse them - this is a criminal offence. Rather, raise it with the moderators or administrators who can then take appropriate action to ensure that the rules of the forum are abided by.
