Ok ladies
I was just wondering if any of you could tell me what is the best cloth nappy for a 19month old dd. I have used terry flats previously but am not currently using them.
Any ideas/advice

DD is 19 months and we use primarily BBH bamboos - I love the large Berry Plushes though....we have a Twins In Cloth fitted that I use all the time (on Millie!). I have a Lou Lous Honey Boy which is large...it will probably still fit her when she's 12.
I used GKs but I find that they don't fit as well anymore.
HTH:)
I guess it would depend on build.
My bub is 18 months and a slim build. We like Pookey Pockets and Bits for Bots for a good fit. I think for this age sized nappies is probably better.
BB's are quite good. The hemp are great for during the day and the bamboo great overnight (boostered) for extra absorbency to last the distance. I've used BB's from the time dd2 was 10mths and I couldn't live without them.
I too, like mkf, like the Berry Plushes. The large fit my dd2 at 10kg on the snuggest fit so they should last for ages. A great day nappy, or as a cover over another nappy.

I pay around $24 - $26 for most fitteds. That would be the average I think.

and how many do you need?
and how many do you need?
For a newborn it's recommended to have about 24 nappies or so. But with a toddler you could get away with a few less. It's good to have a few on hand, means less washing and your less likely to get caught and run out!
Baby beehinds have a part-time package of 10 nappies, 3 PUL covers and 2 packs of baby wipes for $258. You can choose from either hemp, bamboo or a mixture of both nappies.
You could start off with that package, and then decide if that will be enough or if you need more.
Or you could buy a few different nappies and decide which you think you like. Alot of people do this incase they decide they don't like a certain nappy. I didn't, I just went out and bought a package of BB's! I was lucky that I loved them.
