View Full Version : Brisbane City working mother's lunch group
As the result of a thread started last year a number of bubhub mums who work in the city meet for lunch every two - three weeks. If anyone else would like to join us (and you don't have to work in the city - just be prepared to meet us there) send me a PM with your email address and I will include you on the next email to organise lunch. We tend to meet on a Monday or Tuesday as that suits the various part-timers amongst us and meet in a central spot to accomodate those who work at opposite ends of the city.
All are welcome!

So Draught, is the club like the RACQ where I have to renew my membership annually or more like the Mason's .. where I just use the secret handshake and I'm a member for life? Just in case you are thinking of not inviting me back, I'd like to remind everyone that I never farted at the any of the lunches, EVER.
Oh honey - you are a life member. Once you are in (and don't fart) you are in!!
Love the new avatar BTW!!
Now - you claim to have never farted - but maybe there was a discreet silent one that we don't know about - so how can we be sure????? Anyway - I thought we were mates? CAn't mates fart in front of each other?? So many questions about farts - now no one will want to come to our lunches!
oh dear
draught I just pmed you about this !!! now my PM will seem silly!!!!
can I be put on the list??? I dont work (well technically I seem to do ALOT fo work around the house :) ) - but Jack and I would love an excursion.... (assuming you all dont scare me off next friday night?? :p )
you have my email addy!!!
xxx
To clarify - non-working mums are welcome too - as long as you are all aware that we rush in, eat lunch and talk non-stop for an hour then rush back to our offices! If you can cope with that - come along. (Veve - nothing is silly on here - I have PM'd you!)
Oh - and because we are all at work and therefore are childless we haven't looked for child friendly places to eat.:o Probably pram friendly but not toddler friendly IYKWIM)
